We are currently hiring for a Senior Development Director in our Cincinnati office. The Senior Director will serve in a player/coach role and will provide direct coaching and supervision to two fundraising staff members (one development director and one development coordinator), taking lead on our Heart Ball campaign. This position will have direct responsibility in generating revenue by soliciting corporations for sponsorships/partnerships and individual donations.
This is a full-time position that offers a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities
Prospect and secure local corporate sponsorships and individual donations.
Heavily engage in management of sophisticated Circle of Excellence/A-Level companies.
Guide and direct assigned staff to reach goals.
Recruit and lead executive volunteer leadership, volunteer committees, and day of the event volunteers.
Develop profiles on the top businesses within the market area with a detailed plan to secure their involvement.
Implement event logistics based on national best practices.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in fundraising or outside sales or in a non-profit organization in a similar capacity. Experience with major gifts is preferred.
1+ years of experience in a management capacity. This experience may occur within the 3-year related experience requirement. Experience gained through direct internal work on American Heart Association projects/priorities may substitute for this requirement and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including large and small group presentations, group facilitation, and training. Skill in written communications to include clear and concise narrative reports, evaluations, and similar narrative pieces.
Ability to read, comprehend and analyze number goals, as well as fundraising reports. Skill in use of spreadsheet/database analysis.
Ability to do daily local travel up to 75%; requires access to reliable transportation at all times on an immediate basis.
Must have at least basic knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office.
Ability to lift and/or move large objects (such as boxes) with the expectation that heavier items would be broken down into smaller components or requesting additional assistance may be required before lifting and/or moving.

We are hiring a Development Director in Little Rock, AR. This role will focus on implementing the educational, fundraising Sweetheart's campaign in Little Rock (Central AR) and Hot Springs while creating awareness and spreading the mission of the American Heart Association.
The Sweetheart's program is a 6 to 8-month program that educates high school sophomore woman about heart health, philanthropy and volunteering. This position focuses on building ongoing relationships with high school sophomores, parents, hospitals, schools, and community leaders of the Central Arkansas community.
This is an office-based position that offers a hybrid schedule in a fast-paced environment.
We offer a base salary with the potential to earn an incentive up to 25% of the base pay. The potential incentive is based on achieving certain revenue targets and triggers.

Responsibilities
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Implement the Sweetheart's campaign to raise funds through the educational fundraising program with high school students in Little Rock (Central AR) and Hot Springs.
Recruit and engage high school sophomore woman into the Sweetheart's program to educate and fundraise for the American Heart Association. This includes building and maintaining relationships with high school students, parents, schools, and others to promote the program.

Responsibilities
Ensure accuracy and adherence to latest data entry best practices in our point applications (Dynamics, Luminate/TeamRaiser, Greater Giving, GiveSmart, Tableau, Salesforce. This includes FMV, completion of data points, proper pipeline building, event relationships, online bidding services, and event guest lists, building email campaigns.

Assist Individual Markets to reach their revenue goals using their data to drive strategy and outcomes.
This is a work from home position.
In this role, you will report to the Regional Senior Director and will work with a team of fundraisers to manage the databases of assigned markets.
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED, Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) preferred.
1+ years of prior administrative and database management and/or non-profit experience.
Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook.
Ability to work independently, prioritize and handle multiple tasks while managing multiple territories simultaneously.
Excellent attention to detail, verbal, and non-verbal communication, with highly effective organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work outside of standard hours which may involve some evenings and/or weekends.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% periodically throughout assigned geographical territory during the spring.

Responsibilities
Review email and monitor relevant social media posts and web chats to research inquiries and develop written responses for the customers. Communication will typically be non-routine, non-scripted and often require Internet research and personalized responses.
Provide information in response to questions about healthy living, advocacy, charitable estate planning, direct marketing, local office referral, revenue programs, science, stroke, and CPR, to build relationships and increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Cultivate customer and partner relationships by promoting Association brand and programs.
Create responses that encourage customers to donate to the organization, thus contributing to revenue generation and long-lasting donor relationships.
Maintain a high level of productivity based on standards and performance goals, by using Microsoft Dynamics/PureCloud chat/Sprinklr/Outlook.

Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities
Ensure accuracy and adherence to latest data entry best practices in our point applications (Dynamics, Luminate/TeamRaiser, Greater Giving, GiveSmart, Tableau, Salesforce. This includes FMV, completion of data points, proper pipeline building, event relationships, online bidding services, and event guest lists, building email campaigns.
Assist Fundraising Partners on any reports needed using the application system reports.

Assists Senior Business Operations Coordinator with coding, reconciliation, event tracking, online income reports.

Qualifications

Responsibilities
Generate revenue by prospecting and securing local corporate sponsorship and individual donations. Achieve revenue goals by building and maintaining relationships with corporate partners and donors.

Work with a Communications Director to support and promote campaign communication plans.
Qualifications
3 years of relevant experience in fundraising, sales, or equivalent type experience

Responsibilities
This individual will be responsible for the implementation of quality programs aimed at improving care for patients with cardiovascular disease and stroke. Responsible for working with multiple sites to educate and empower improvement in treatment to guidelines, clinical processes, and practices. Successful market management will require that this individual:
Engage with clients at hospitals, healthcare systems, post-acute facilities, ambulatory/outpatient settings, or EMS organizations to implement and deliver program and product services, including active data collection, decision support tools, best practice sharing, quality improvement consultation, and how to build a program site team/infrastructure for success
Consult with appropriate hospital teams to identify and resolve compliance issues and facilitate program participation progress and optimization of program and product value and return on investment
Develop relationships with physician champions, key stakeholders and decision makers/influencers in C-suite or executive positions as well as essential relationships with front line leaders and data abstractors
Collaborate with state departments of health, regional authorities and other partners to further cardiovascular systems of care.
Document activities in customer relationship management tools such as Microsoft Dynamics. Record and report on account interactions and execution of the supported initiative including tracking progress and reporting. Communicate regularly with Director of Health Care Quality to assure tasks are completed according to timeline. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure program success.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Two (2) - Five (5) years of proven experience
Experience in an acute care hospital working directly on clinical quality or process improvement projects, or a national cardiac or stroke clinical quality improvement program that incorporates data capture within process improvement framework
Experience in hospital/healthcare systems for cardiovascular disease and stroke
Familiarity with Systems of Care work or understanding of EMS, Payers, CMS
Excellent in advanced PowerPoint, Word and Excel and delivering power Point presentations to both large and small groups
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
Excellent oral and written communication
Ability to travel up to 20% local and overnight stay
Preferred Skills:
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality or Certified Health Education Specialist, or a clinical degree
Experience in collaborative learning groups

Responsibilities
Initiates communication to all leads received from individuals requesting CEP information from the American Heart Association in the assigned territory
Develops a dynamic cultivation plan for nurturing the most promising leads to make the best use of time and efforts
Provides consultation and information regarding estate and tax planning, estate administration and charitable giving as necessary. Must remain up-to-date on all tax law changes as they relate to charitable giving
Fosters a culture of stewardship among Paul Dudley White Legacy Society members, customizing communication and demonstrating the impact of charitable estate gifts on the association's mission
Creates and maintains personalized detailed prospect plans toward the successful solicitation of the territory's most engaged prospects and donors. Establishes and maintains information in Salesforce (customer relationship database) including those of charitable estate planning donors, prospects, volunteers and estate planning professionals
Supplies CEP illustrations using Crescendo Interactive software. Supplies information and reviews estate plans with prospects in hopes of obtaining a gift for the association. Recommends specific estate planning actions to achieve goals and meets with donors' estate planner or financial advisor in tandem with other association staff as appropriate
Makes presentations on gift planning techniques at association board meetings, staff meetings and community events
Works with local association staff to coordinate CEP activities with other organizational efforts and approaches to identify priority prospects. Keeps appropriate staff and volunteers updated on activities and progress as necessary
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
At least five (5) years of proven experience
Experience in planned giving (or individual fundraising), estate planning, solid understanding of intestacy laws, federal estate tax, federal income tax and state inheritance taxes, and estate planning strategies
Successful proven record of completing gift agreements (specifically, split-interest gifts) through personal interviews; public speaking skills and communication skills
Comprehensive knowledge of deferred gift and estate planning vehicles
Thorough knowledge of charitable estate fund raising and demonstrated skills in donor relationship building and stewardship, conducting effective sales/solicitation calls and effectively closing/sales solicitations
Excellent public speaking and one-on-one communication skills
Thorough knowledge of the process of identifying prospects for deferred gift commitments, prospect/donor cultivation processes and charitable gift commitment vehicles is necessary
Proven ability to efficiently implement charitable estate planning strategies.
Ability to travel 50% of the time working to develop programs in major metropolitan areas within designated territory assigned. Willingness to work weekends and evenings as necessary.

Responsibilities

Develops a dynamic cultivation plan for nurturing the most promising leads to make the best use of time and efforts

Fosters a culture of stewardship among Paul Dudley White Legacy Society members, customizing communication and demonstrating the impact of charitable estate gifts on the association's mission
Creates and maintains personalized detailed prospect plans toward the successful solicitation of the territory's most engaged prospects and donors. Establishes and maintains information in Salesforce (customer relationship database) including those of charitable estate planning donors, prospects, volunteers and estate planning professionals
Supplies CEP illustrations using Crescendo Interactive software. Supplies information and reviews estate plans with prospects in hopes of obtaining a gift for the association. Recommends specific estate planning actions to achieve goals and meets with donors' estate planner or financial advisor in tandem with other association staff as appropriate
Makes presentations on gift planning techniques at association board meetings, staff meetings and community events
Works with local association staff to coordinate CEP activities with other organizational efforts and approaches to identify priority prospects. Keeps appropriate staff and volunteers updated on activities and progress as necessary
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
At least five (5) years of proven experience
Experience in planned giving (or individual fundraising), estate planning, solid understanding of intestacy laws, federal estate tax, federal income tax and state inheritance taxes, and estate planning strategies
Successful proven record of completing gift agreements (specifically, split-interest gifts) through personal interviews; public speaking skills and communication skills
Comprehensive knowledge of deferred gift and estate planning vehicles
Thorough knowledge of charitable estate fund raising and demonstrated skills in donor relationship building and stewardship, conducting effective sales/solicitation calls and effectively closing/sales solicitations
Excellent public speaking and one-on-one communication skills
Thorough knowledge of the process of identifying prospects for deferred gift commitments, prospect/donor cultivation processes and charitable gift commitment vehicles is necessary
Proven ability to efficiently implement charitable estate planning strategies.
Ability to travel 50% of the time working to develop programs in major metropolitan areas within designated territory assigned. Willingness to work weekends and evenings as necessary.

Maintain general awareness of importance of cardiovascular research advances through reading science literature, establishing and maintaining professional consultation contacts, attending meetings, monitoring legislation, and attending to inquiries from public and professionals.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or higher - Information Technology - Database Design, Applied Math, Computational Science, Health Informatics, Economics, Statistics or related technical field or equivalent work experience. Master degree is preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience with database design, development, data mapping, statistical reporting, Electronic Health Data wrangling, Claims data analysis or related area.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience with real world clinical data including claims data processing, clinical data management and regulatory requirements for use of data.
In-depth knowledge of cloud-based architecture and health-focused data server management/configuration; AWS or other clouds-based health data server background preferred.
Proficient in R, SAS, and/or Python, Jupyter Notebooks, SQL.
Highly effective organizational skills, communication skills, time management, responsibility, and motivation.
Must be able to travel overnight approx. 10% of the time.
