The American Heart Association is seeking a skilled Creative Manager to drive the strategy, expansion and management of marketing efforts across a range of healthcare Quality Improvement programs. As an individual contributor, you will lead graphic design initiatives, contribute to strategic planning, support in executing marketing plans, and lead all aspects of in-house graphic design. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing and creativity, as well as the ability to foster relationships and collaborate with internal teams.

Responsibilities
Lead development of cross-platform marketing solutions that effectively communicate the strategic intent of an assignment and solve client business and marketing challenges
Design for a wide variety of styles and mediums, creating compelling visuals and progressive narratives that resonate with defined audience, influencing product experience
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement campaigns and promotions, overseeing the execution of marketing activities, while developing audience-building and revenue-generating strategies
Lead multiple projects by managing time effectively, prioritizing work assignments, being flexible to changing requests, and ensuring deadlines are being met
Lead and review work of creative team to ensure all work delivers on the established strategies while ensuring adherence to branding guidelines
Develop periodic reports and postmortem campaign analysis to showcase results and improve the effectiveness of work
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, advertising or related field
3+ years of experience marketing, agency, or related creative experience
Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and HTML/CSS
Self-starter with a gift for conceptualizing and developing creative ideas and effective messaging rooted in research
Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present confidently in front of C-suite executives and volunteers, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders while demonstrating excellent written and oral communication skills
Minimum travel availability needed, up to 5%
Preferred Experience:
Captivating visual storyteller, expert communicator and passionate problem solver
Advanced knowledge of website and social media platform enablement and B2B utilization of these platforms
Familiarity with email marketing, webinars, webpage development, search engine optimization (SEO), paid promotion, and tradeshow and conference management
Video production
Messaging, content development and interactive storytelling
Collaborating with product and sales teams and acting upon their needs

Responsibilities
Lead development of cross-platform marketing solutions that effectively communicate the strategic intent of an assignment and solve client business and marketing challenges

Lead existing and new sponsorships and relationships to achieve campaign goal through the cultivation, stewardship, renewal, and deepening engagement via frequent face-to-face meetings to retain and upgrade their financial dedication, according to the campaign's timeline and business plan.
Lead all aspects of coordinated planning processes for the Heart Ball and Go Red For Women health and revenue efforts for all functional areas within span of control. Actively involve, inform, and integrate with internal partners across the metro market, affiliate, and association.
Develop and lead/monitor Heart Ball and Go Red for Women budget within span of control and internal business operations in accordance with policies, fiscal standards, and the approved operating budget.
Prepares plans, documents, and communications for GAP (getting to goal) meetings, revenue projection updates, and other priority meetings as they arise.
Supervises event logistics including, but not limited to, event promotions, entertainment, live and silent auctions (as market appropriate.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement market strategies, build blended sponsorships and relationships with volunteers.
Qualifications

Plan and implement events in collaboration with internal and external partners.
Work with a Communications Director to support and promote campaign communication plans.
Qualifications
3 years of relevant experience in fundraising, sales, or equivalent type experience
Ability to do daily local travel up to 75%; requires access to reliable transportation at all times on an immediate basis
Ability to lift and/or move large objects (such as boxes) with the expectation that heavier items would be broken down into smaller components or requesting additional assistance may be required before lifting and/or moving
Must have at least basic knowledge and skill/proficiency with Microsoft Office

Support the creation of project management tools/systems to manage multiple projects.
Encourage, educate, and empower ( 3Es ) advocacy volunteers.

Qualifications
Advanced undergraduate course work in Political Science, Public Policy, Sociology, Organizational Development, or interest in this work and related fields.
Ability to deal professionally in a corporate, public, or non-profit environment and assume responsibility for guiding projects and programs from inception through completion.
Effective oral, written and presentation communication skills.
Capability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple priorities.
Intermediate to excellent proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Minimum availability of 20 hrs/wk, M-F between the hours of 8:30am-5pm.

Responsibilities
The Development Director is responsible for achieving revenue generation goals by using established American Heart Association best practices. Ensures appropriate volunteer leadership is recruited and developed. This will include solicitation of large dollar and multi-year corporate sponsorships, individual donor cultivation, and chair recruitment, volunteer committee recruitment, auction procurement of multiple events throughout the year.
The Director will be held accountable to an overall ambitious fundraising goal to advance the American Heart Association's Mission. Implements high quality events in accordance with American Heart Association's standards and in collaboration with team.
The main accountability of the Development Director is to drive revenue for the mission of the American Heart Association.
Generate revenue by prospecting and securing local corporate sponsorship and individual donations. Achieve revenue goals by building and maintaining relationships with corporate partners and donors.
Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective corporate sponsors and donors by conducting research that matches to the campaign goals and the Association's mission.
Develop and present proposals and accompanying materials to secure revenue and volunteer engagement.
Recruit and be responsible for executive volunteer leadership, volunteer committees, and day-of-the-event volunteers.
Coordinate the event auction including leading a committee of volunteers to solicit auction items and prepare packages that will raise funds.
Lead and engage new individual membership for our Cor Vitae giving society, in partnership with other appropriate fundraising staff. Includes planning and implementing regular engagement events for members.
Plan and implement events in collaboration with internal and external partners.
Work with a Communications Director to support and promote campaign communication plans.
Qualifications

3 years of proven experience in fundraising, sales, or equivalent type experience
Ability to do daily local travel up to 75%; requires access to reliable transportation at all times.
Knowledge of community organization, sales, fundraising, and marketing principles, practices, techniques, and trends.
Shown verbal and written communication skills, including large and small group presentations, group facilitation, and training. Skill in written communications to include clear and concise narrative reports, evaluations, and similar narrative pieces.
Ability to lift and/or move large objects (such as boxes) with the expectation that heavier items would be broken down into smaller components or requesting additional assistance may be required before lifting and/or moving
Must have at least basic knowledge and skill/proficiency with Microsoft Office

University/College degree or equivalent experience, preferred
Experience leading and cultivating high-level leaders at the C-Suite level

Internship Overview:

Responsibilities
Under the direction of the State GRD of Field Advocacy, for insert, the Intern will support the State Advocacy & Engagement Committees ( SAEC ), along with other staff priorities, advocating for the Association's state and local priorities tasks could include:
Assist with building capacity with the SAECs and various coalitions.
Support the creation of project management tools/systems to manage multiple projects.
Encourage, educate, and empower ( 3Es ) advocacy volunteers.
Attend key functions/events/meetings as directed and available.
Aid with researching key issues and assessing environment for policy potentials.
Qualifications
Advanced undergraduate course work in Political Science, Public Policy, Sociology, Organizational Development, or interest in this work and related fields.
Ability to deal professionally in a corporate, public, or non-profit environment and assume responsibility for guiding projects and programs from inception through completion.
Effective oral, written and presentation communication skills.
Capability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple priorities.
Intermediate to excellent proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Required Equipment: Reliable WiFi Connection.
Minimum availability of 20 hrs/wk, M-F between the hours of 8:30am-5pm.
