We have a fast-paced sales type of environment with the main responsibility of driving revenue in support of our mission. We offer a base salary with the potential to earn an incentive up to 25% of your base pay. The potential incentive is based on achieving certain revenue targets and triggers.

Responsibilities
Generate revenue by prospecting and securing local corporate sponsorship and individual donations. Achieve revenue goals by building and maintaining relationships with corporate partners and donors.
Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective corporate sponsors and donors by conducting research that matches to the campaign goals and the Association's mission.
Develop and present proposals and accompanying materials to secure revenue and volunteer engagement.
Recruit and be responsible for executive volunteer leadership, volunteer committees, and day-of-the-event volunteers.
Recruit corporate team participation in Heart Walk and motivate team members to fundraise.
Lead and engage new individual membership for our Cor Vitae giving society, in partnership with other appropriate fundraising staff. Includes planning and implementing regular engagement events for members.
Plan and implement events in collaboration with internal and external partners.
Work with a Communications Director to support and promote campaign communication plans.
Qualifications
3 years of relevant experience in fundraising, sales, or equivalent type experience
Ability to do daily local travel up to [Enter Number]%; requires access to reliable transportation at all times on an immediate basis
Ability to lift and/or move large objects (such as boxes) with the expectation that heavier items would be broken down into smaller components or requesting additional assistance may be required before lifting and/or moving
Must have at least basic knowledge and skill/proficiency with Microsoft Office

What is HeartCorps:
HeartCorps is an initiative with Public Health AmeriCorps and the American Heart Association created todrive health equity in rural communities. This service position offers a great opportunity to gain valuable professional public health experience while advancing more equitable health outcomes for your community.
We are seeking full-time and part-time service members to serve up to 11 months startingNovember 4, 2024,to serve at the Community of Caring/Aspen Mine Center in Cripple Creek, CO .
Responsibilities
What you will do includes:
Typically serve full-time Monday - Friday (41.25 hours per week). Some placements may include occasional evening or weekend hours. Part-time opportunities may be available at 25 hours per week.
Deliver health education and support patients/community members in navigating the care, community programs and resources on heart health related topics including cardiovascular disease, smoking cessation, nutrition, blood pressure, and chronic diseases such as diabetes.
Assist with public health surveys. This may include recruiting participants, administering the survey in-person or via phone, tracking data, and/or running reports.
Plan and conduct local health skill building workshops, health fairs, town halls or community conversations - to raise awareness and help community members manage their health.
Support patients and community members in initiating and conducting Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring.
Host Hands-Only CPR demonstrations for community members.
Engage local organizations to help identify and develop resources to support families in accessing chronic disease interventions and/or overall health and wellbeing services.
Actively participate in AmeriCorps pre-service orientation, HeartCorps member development meetings and assigned trainings.
Qualifications
Ideal HeartCorps Candidates are:
United States citizen, United States national, or a lawful permanent resident alien of the United States, at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Able to secure reliable transportation to and from the host site daily and to community-based activities. You will be required to maintain a valid drivers' license as well as at least the minimum automobile liability insurance coverage required by law.
Strong written and oral communicators.
Customer and solution focused. Good listeners, non-judgmental, open minded, and resourceful.
Required to satisfy the National Service Criminal History Check eligibility criteria-nationwide check of the National Sex Offender Public website, state criminal history record check, and a fingerprint-based check of the FBI criminal history record database.
Experience as health aide or have coursework in public health, health communications, health promotion, or health sciences helpful but not required.

Responsibilities
Creates & coordinates all School Engagement classroom challenge email templates, helping to procure teacher lists, sending out emails to schools and helping staff stay on timeline.
Logs into Top 25 school and Tier One school sites to send email on behalf of the volunteer coordinator where permission has been granted to effectively drive online registration & revenue.
Works with school communications coordinators at Tier One and Hero schools to ensure fulfillment of a multi-stage communication plan before and during the school event.
Covers School Engagement Director duties when staff vacancies occur due to staff turnover and/or short-term disability. Most of this can be done from virtual/video meetings, emails, text messages and phone calls.
Coordinates recruitment and materials mailings and inventory management, troubleshooting, follow-up, and status updates.
Prepares and maintains fundraising materials and presentations as well as event collateral and marketing material. Coordinate logistics for auxiliary events and sponsorship meetings.
Prepares and communicates schedules, meetings and ensures deadlines are met.
Performs administrative duties as required or requested.
May assist with collecting and depositing donations.
Qualifications
1+ years of related administrative experience preferred. New grads are welcome and encouraged to apply.
Must have earned a high school diploma or GED.
Experience and skill in using a database management system, preferably a CRM specific program.
Must have at least intermediate knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office used for word processing, email, presentations, and spreadsheets. Advanced knowledge and skill with these programs is preferred. These skills are subject to testing.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks/projects.
Skill and ability in providing customer service at an excellent level to internal and external customers and partners.

Creates & coordinates all School Engagement classroom challenge email templates, helping to procure teacher lists, sending out emails to schools and helping staff stay on timeline.
Logs into Top 25 school and Tier One school sites to send email on behalf of the volunteer coordinator where permission has been granted to effectively drive online registration & revenue.
Works with school communications coordinators at Tier One and Hero schools to ensure fulfillment of a multi-stage communication plan before and during the school event.
Covers School Engagement Director duties when staff vacancies occur due to staff turnover and/or short-term disability. Most of this can be done from virtual/video meetings, emails, text messages and phone calls.
Coordinates recruitment and materials mailings and inventory management, troubleshooting, follow-up, and status updates.
Prepares and maintains fundraising materials and presentations as well as event collateral and marketing material. Coordinate logistics for auxiliary events and sponsorship meetings.
Prepares and communicates schedules, meetings and ensures deadlines are met.
Performs administrative duties as required or requested.
May assist with collecting and depositing donations.
Qualifications
1+ years of related administrative experience preferred. New grads are welcome and encouraged to apply.
Must have earned a high school diploma or GED.
Experience and skill in using a database management system, preferably a CRM specific program.
Must have at least intermediate knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office used for word processing, email, presentations, and spreadsheets. Advanced knowledge and skill with these programs is preferred. These skills are subject to testing.

Responsibilities
Creates & coordinates all School Engagement classroom challenge email templates, helping to procure teacher lists, sending out emails to schools and helping staff stay on timeline.
Logs into Top 25 school and Tier One school sites to send email on behalf of the volunteer coordinator where permission has been granted to effectively drive online registration & revenue.
Works with school communications coordinators at Tier One and Hero schools to ensure fulfillment of a multi-stage communication plan before and during the school event.
Covers School Engagement Director duties when staff vacancies occur due to staff turnover and/or short-term disability. Most of this can be done from virtual/video meetings, emails, text messages and phone calls.
Coordinates recruitment and materials mailings and inventory management, troubleshooting, follow-up, and status updates.
Prepares and maintains fundraising materials and presentations as well as event collateral and marketing material. Coordinate logistics for auxiliary events and sponsorship meetings.
Prepares and communicates schedules, meetings and ensures deadlines are met.
Performs administrative duties as required or requested.
May assist with collecting and depositing donations.
Qualifications
1+ years of related administrative experience preferred. New grads are welcome and encouraged to apply.
Must have earned a high school diploma or GED.
Experience and skill in using a database management system, preferably a CRM specific program.
Must have at least intermediate knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office used for word processing, email, presentations, and spreadsheets. Advanced knowledge and skill with these programs is preferred. These skills are subject to testing.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks/projects.
