We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join the team!
Objective
Responsible for overseeing all accounting transactions, reporting, audits, and record maintenance for a 10 year $3.9B Engineering, Technology, and Science cost plus contract with NASA Johnson Space Center. This position will report directly to and assist the Business Office Manager.
The Finance Manager will:
Oversee all accounting activities impacting general/subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable/payable, revenue recognition, fixed assets/depreciation, lease reporting, financial statements and performance
Development and implementation of department's goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budgeting, accounting, travel, and labor timekeeping
Financial management of various government contract types: cost plus, time & materials, and firm fixed price
Report program financial performance based on customer and corporate financial reporting requirements
Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of financial contractual reports to the government
Assist with company financial planning and analysis and monitor cost performance against established plans
Maintain accounting records in accordance with Company, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) guidelines to meet internal and external auditing requirements
Ensure program Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) Disclosure statement is current and all program accounting activities are compliant with disclosure statement and FAR Part 31 cost principles
Assist with indirect rate development, maintenance, and reporting
Manage the Incurred Cost Submission to the government
Interface with government audit agency Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and Company internal audit firms
Direct internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls
Perform other duties as required
Requisition Qualifications:
Typically requires a BS degree from an accredited college or university and 10 years related experience, or MS degree and 8 years related experience or Ph.D. and 4 years of related experience. Requires demonstrated leadership skills as evidenced by prior supervisory experience. Must be able to effectively communicate with others
Must have a minimum five (5) years working experience in the area of government accounting
Requisition Preferences:
BA or BS degree in the appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university, plus twelve (12) years of progressive and relevant experience in accounting or financial management. Advance degree in relevant discipline may be substituted for progressive experience
Experience with NASA financial reporting or other government agencies financial reporting requirements

Supports Intelligence Analysis and Scientific Analysis activities in support of Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA), Intelligence (S2), Operations (S3) and Counterintelligence & Human Intelligence (CI/HUMINT) Directorates. Collaborates with the United States Marine Corps (USMC) and Department of Defense's (DoD) best trained General Military Intelligence (GMI) professionals. Will be required to provide stakeholders Intelligence Analytical support for all Intelligence factions. Provides necessary resources with knowledge and experience to support Weapons and Technical Analysis, Geo-spatial Intelligence Science and Analysis, Regional Analysis, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance, and Counterintelligence (CI)/Human Intelligence (HUMINT).
Responsibilities:
Conduct research, create intelligence products, create intelligence estimate assessments, and conduct intelligence briefings on request based on MCIA's Program of Analysis (POA) and its Key Intelligence Questions (KIQ).
Annually publish/produce at least the minimum number of all-source analysis products (e.g., written, and oral reports) as dictated by production requirements on assigned account.
Collect, analyze, interpret, evaluate, and integrate complex data from multiple sources to assess the relevance and significance of developments in his/her assigned subject matter and geographic area(s).
Attend, participate in, and contribute to relevant conferences and other events.
Maintain contact with counterparts in other intelligence organizations to keep abreast of current developments, to resolve problems to eliminate duplication, and to provide free flow of information on matters of intelligence interest.
Identify intelligence gaps, recommend, and submit collection requirements to fill gaps.
Collect, analyze, interpret, evaluate and research utilizing Open-Source tools, techniques, methodology and software.
Deliver subject matter expertise to support the development of new processes, procedures, and technologies.
Conduct all-source analysis to assess foreign military order of battle, organizational structure, unit disposition, and unit missions; and identify discrepancies with current data holdings and update/revise accordingly.
Conduct all-source analysis to evaluate foreign military systems to include, but not limited to, air defense, coastal defense, medium- and long-range ballistic missiles and their associated platforms and targeting systems.
Conduct all-source analysis to evaluate foreign military operations and exercises to identify tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), strategy, doctrine, readiness, and proficiency in employing various military capabilities and supporting activities including, but not limited to, survivability, denial and deception, Command, Control, Communications and Computers (C4), targeting, and logistics.
Analyze foreign military forces, potential activities, and assets to include, but not limited to, movements, logistics and maintenance, readiness, C4, defensive systems, and survivability tactics.
Conduct all-source methods to project the discovery, development, and deployment of advanced technologies and their potential impact on USMC forces.
Follow technology transfer and its military impact and ability of recipient actors to assimilate transferred technology.
Apply knowledge of foreign military system capabilities and limitations to assess opportunities for USMC exploitation and USMC system and doctrine vulnerabilities.

The Mechanical Systems Technician II will:
Perform skilled work in the development, fabrication, calibration, setup, operation and maintenance of laboratory fixtures, equipment, and facilities.
Fabricate, modify, and assemble various complex hardware and systems from engineer drawings, sketches, or verbal and written instructions.
Build and operate complex mechanical systems and equipment within the functional scope of assigned group/section including, but not limited to, pressure (liquid/vapor/gas), vacuum, cryogenic, hydraulic, pneumatic, vibration, and acoustic test equipment and systems.
Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and work instructions in order to carry out assignments.
Work directly with engineering personnel and/or higher-level technicians on the design, fabrication, installation, and operation of components and special systems.
Assist in preparation of test procedures, test preparation sheets, discrepancy report disposition, unscheduled maintenance order reports, operational servicing reports, breadboard or developmental equipment sketches, and test setup or test article jig designs.
Operate forklift and man-lift equipment in the performance of work assignments as required.
Work at elevated locations using systems/equipment such as ladders, man-lifts, scaffolding other work platforms.
Operate appropriate shop mechanical equipment, systems, and tools in the performance of work duties.

The Tax Advisory Manager will report to the Tax Advisory Senior Director and will be responsible for assisting with Amentum's tax research, planning, controversy, M&A, transfer pricing, and other special projects. This individual contributor role will be instrumental in furthering Amentum's best-in-class tax function and is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in an extremely dynamic, diverse, and fast-paced environment. Main responsibilities:
Perform tax research and assist with tax planning and modeling projects, including research and development tax credit opportunities as well as indirect / value-added tax (-VAT-) structuring
Support business development activities, including researching applicability of tax exemptions available to Amentum under bilateral defense-type agreements, such as Status of Forces Agreements (-SOFA-)
Assist with managing Amentum's global transfer pricing, including strategy/planning, operations, compliance, and risk management and collaborate with compliance management
Manage and Maintain, Master File, Local File Templates, benchmarking, and intercompany agreements, etc.
Assist with tax audits in US federal, state, and foreign jurisdictions (direct and indirect tax), including gathering and validating data for audit requests, drafting audit responses, etc.
Monitor and analyze federal, state, and foreign legislative, regulatory, and judicial developments
Work with and provide tax support to internal stakeholders, including Legal, Business Development, Contracts, and Treasury teams
Assist with documenting key tax positions, risks, and intercompany agreements
Main requirements:
4+ years of experience with a CPA and JD/Masters in a relevant field; or 6+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree and a CPA; or 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized with the ability to efficiently and accurately manage competing priorities and internal and external deadlines.
Positive attitude and dependable team player with strong attention to detail.
