The Senior, Global Tax Reporting Accountant will be responsible for assisting with Amentum's tax provision for its US GAAP and local statutory financial reporting. This individual contributor role will be instrumental in furthering Amentum's best-in-class tax function and is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in an extremely dynamic, diverse, and fast-paced environment. Main responsibilities:
Assist with the Non-U.S tax provisions and forecasts in accordance with local country tax regulations and U.S. GAAP tax accounting standard
Assist with collection, consolidation, and analysis of data used for global tax reporting (e.g. BEPS Pillar 2) and US tax compliance
Participate in global forecasting efforts (e.g. ETR, cash taxes)
Assist in process improvement to optimize reporting time and eliminate manual processes
Assist with Monitoring Non-US tax filing requirements
Prepare income tax account reconciliations and assist implementation and documentation of SOX 404 internal controls
Coordinate with various stakeholders, including internal accounting and finance teams, as well as external auditors
Be willing to periodically assist with ad hoc tax compliance matters as well as special projects
Main requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or Master's in taxation; CPA preferred
5+ years of relevant tax experience in a public accounting firm and/or multi-national company
High-level of proficiency using Microsoft Excel; experience with ONESOURCE Tax Provision (OTP) a plus
Basic understanding of ASC 740
Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to efficiently and accurately manage competing priorities and internal and external deadlines
Positive attitude and dependable team player with strong attention to detail

Design, develop and implement enterprise data integration and pipeline architectures to facilitate the collection, storage, and management of data for various analytical, operational, and decision-making purposes. Utilizes technologies to facilitate implementation of various integration patterns to ensure appropriate integration between Amentum systems including enterprise data pipelines, spark notebooks, dataflows, data lakes, SQL Serverless, messaging, API's and data warehouse processes and artifacts from internal and external data sources.
Essential Responsibilities:
Focuses on data integration between key business data sources, applications, services, and systems.
Works on design and implementation of data flows/pipelines - focuses on control and optimization of data movement and transformation.
Works on data integration between different systems or source/sink requirements.
Specific Job Duties:
Design and implement data integration and pipeline architectures to facilitate the collection, storage, and management of data from various sources and systems.
Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data workflows that ensure efficient and error-free data transfer between systems.
Select and implement suitable integration methods for various enterprise needs.
Create and enforce data quality checks and balances to ensure accuracy and integrity of integrated data.
Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand data needs and deliver tailored data resources for analytics and reporting purposes.
Optimize data integration processes for improved performance, scalability, and reliability, utilizing best practices in data engineering.
Implement data privacy and security measures in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration, including performance bottlenecks and data discrepancies.
Document data integration processes, including data flow diagrams and data models, to ensure clarity and maintainability for future modifications.
Design, develop, test, and manage the overall framework to facilitate analysis and processing of enterprise data working closely with the Data Architect to direct and optimize the flow of data within the framework and ensure consistency of data delivery and utilization across multiple projects.
Design how data will be stored, accessed, used, integrated, and managed by different data regimes and digital systems, working with data users to determine, create, and populate optimal data architectures, structures, and systems.
Recommend and implement ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality; shall evaluate, compare, and improve the different approaches including the design patterns innovation, data lifecycle design, data ontology alignment, annotated datasets, and elastic search approaches.
Process, clean, and verify the integrity, accuracy, completeness, and uniformity of enterprise data sets, integrating external or new datasets into existing datasets, as required.
Design, implement, and operate data management systems for business intelligence needs.
Plan, design, and optimize data throughput and query performance.
Build data and analytics proofs that will offer deeper insight into datasets, allowing for critical discoveries surrounding key performance indicators and user activity.

Principal Accountabilities
Establishes source of supply, negotiates price, delivery date, and other necessary commitments based upon authorized requisition and complies with company policies and federal regulations.
Provides guidance and information to requester that includes communication of procurement actions or status and assist with special or complex requirements.
Adheres to Procurement procedures to assure follow-up and administration of purchase order and subcontract files. Coordinates requisition requirements with requester.
Assists in the preparation of Procurement centered reports.

Negotiate price, delivery, and terms with approved prospective suppliers.

Negotiates and settles with suppliers regarding damage claims, rejections, and losses, return of materials, over-shipments, and cancellations.
Provides pricing in support of Business Development or proposal efforts as required.

Interfaces with Procurement leadership. to provide status, input, and communicates with other departments.
Responsible for compliance of procurement procedures in maintaining an approved Purchasing system.

Seeking a Subcontract Administrator II that has an active clearance (minimum active Secret Clearance) that lives in the Mid-Atlantic Region of the US.
Amentum is looking for a motivated Cleared Subcontract Administrator II to work 99% remote-telework , you may need to be on-site in Arlington, VA once or twice per year for important meetings.
The Subcontract Administrator II is responsible for all phases of subcontract administration, cradle to grave, to include acquisition planning, source selection, cost/price analysis, negotiation, post-award administration and closeout. Responsible for ensuring compliance with government policies and procedures. This is a mid-level position that will be expected to possess a general understanding of government subcontracting, ability to work independently with some supervision and instructions, be solution-oriented, contribute to meeting team and/or organizational goals, demonstrate good judgement and business acumen, and collaborate with stakeholders and other departments when needed.
Essential Responsibilities:
Coordinate, develop, and produce subcontract documentation such as subcontracts agreements, modification task/delivery orders, solicitations, estimates, cost/price analyses, negotiation memorandums justifications, determinations, special contract provisions, representations, certifications, and correspondence.
Assist in coordinating, developing, and producing procurement documentation such as acquisition plans, source selection plans and evaluation criteria, Request for Proposals, agreements, profit analyses, statements of work, data submittal requirements, and proposal preparation instructions.
Assist in selecting the appropriate Subcontract type (FFP, CR, T&M, IDIQ, etc.) that is best suited for the prime contract, program needs, and overall risk profile.
Assist in evaluating proposals and quotations, determining offer responsiveness, responsibility, and eligibility for award, and provide support for discussions and negotiations.
Develop and maintain subcontract files. Monitor and track subcontractor deliverables.
Review and process subcontract purchase requisitions.
Conduct subcontract file reviews in support of Government audits.
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating teaming and non-disclosure agreements.
Coordinate with accounting and finance departments in administering subcontract invoicing and payments, job cost management, contract audit/filing, and closeout process.
Ensure compliance with CPSR, FAR/DFARS, Agency-specific regulations and Amentum policies and procedures for subcontracts and procurement.
Ensure subcontract requirements are met, monitor cost status, assist in cost management, and coordinate issue resolution with customers.
Ensure the management of subcontract file(s), prepare and control of all modifications and correspondence.
Interface and coordinate with subcontractors and service providers, as well as Amentum HR, Finance, AP, and Program teams. Participation in cross-functional collaboration and tiger teams.
Support small business goals on assigned subcontracts, coordinate with technical staff, maintain records, and participate in small business outreach activities.
Assist in the development of negotiation strategy and assist in conducting negotiation of terms and conditions with subcontractors.
Review supplier proposals, including analysis of solicitation requirements and proposal responses.
Maintain and process purchase orders, releases, and modifications in Amentum's business systems.
Close out subcontracts.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, and three (3) years of experience in subcontracts, procurement, supply chain or related field, or a Master's degree and up to two (2) years of experience. For this role, at least one (1) year of prior experience must be directly with subcontract administration.
Two (2) years of experience in procurement or related field may be substituted for each year of the four (4) years of college.
Excellent communication and basic negotiation skills; and working knowledge of Sharepoint, Microsoft Office Suite, and integrated software applications.
US Citizenship is REQUIRED.
Active Secret Clearance is required to apply but we prefer candidates with a TS/SCI Clearance or the ability to receive/maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Senior Director, Supply Chain Operations
The Global Supply Chain Management Supply Chain Operations Senior Director is responsible for directing activities of Supply Chain Operations function for a business group in accordance with company policies and procedures. Oversees the management of Team Performance (SCAs/Buyers), New Business Strategy, Supplier Performance, Transportation Operations, and Strategic Agreements.
The Supply Chain Operations Senior Director leads a team of procurement representatives consisting of both subcontract administrators and buyers through the acquisition process of materials and services in support of a variety of programs and customers. Purpose and Scope:
The Capture Manager - Logistics and Supply Chain is accountable for growth and responsible for leading and winning services- and solutions-based new business, including competitive captures of significant size, complexity, and/or a unique/complex business model. Capture objectives are focused on government contracts for base operations/mission support services and potentially other logistics and/or supply chain markets.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Develop, evolve, and mature strategic growth plans and identify promising, addressable new business opportunities in the assigned market segment.
2. Plan, direct, coordinate and control all activities related to assigned capture efforts, including accountability of all phases of capture management until contract award. May manage large complex capture efforts.

14. Interact with and provide guidance to Proposal Manager on the entire proposal/orals process to ensure well-written, compliant, and competitive volumes/slides incorporating win themes, discriminators, and program insights.
15. Ensure timely selection and participation in pursuit process of key personnel for program implementation and management.
16. Establish the company as preferred contractor prior to release of Request for Proposal through advertising and other communication means.
17. Develop and manage the Capture Budget, including the sales and marketing and the bid and proposal budgets, updating as required.
18. Develop effective teaming strategies, including negotiation of teaming agreements.
19. Ensure data is entered and updated in relevant business development information system(s).

The Global Supply Chain Management Supply Chain Operations Senior Director is responsible for directing activities of Supply Chain Operations function for a business group in accordance with company policies and procedures. Purpose and Scope:
The Capture Manager - Logistics and Supply Chain is accountable for growth and responsible for leading and winning services- and solutions-based new business, including competitive captures of significant size, complexity, and/or a unique/complex business model. Capture objectives are focused on government contracts for base operations/mission support services and potentially other logistics and/or supply chain markets.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Develop, evolve, and mature strategic growth plans and identify promising, addressable new business opportunities in the assigned market segment.
2. Plan, direct, coordinate and control all activities related to assigned capture efforts, including accountability of all phases of capture management until contract award. May manage large complex capture efforts.
3. Develop a capture plan which includes a description and analysis of the opportunity, customer, competition, team, pursuit/win strategy, pricing strategy, and capture resource needs, with an integrated action/contact plan.

In addition, the Senior Director monitors team performance through KPIs in an effort to reduce risk, reduce total cost of ownership and improve operational performance related to supply chain life cycle. The Supply Chain Operations Senior Director acts as liaison with program management, business operations, contracts, legal and finance. Responsible for managing a team, to include mentoring, day-to-day direction, and performance management of assigned employees. Responsible to drive process improvements and seek opportunities for optimizing the procure to pay process. Responsible to ensure the quality and compliance of procurement files for their respective teams meet the GSCM standard.

Principal Accountabilities
Direct a team of procurement and subcontract professionals supporting a business group.
Provide visible and effective leadership to optimize all procurement and supply chain functions within assigned area.
Develop and establish standard and integrated policies, procedures, and reporting systems to ensure team is providing effective, cost-efficient and responsive supply, procurement and transportation support.
Prepare reports, analyze data and make recommendations for innovation, continuous improvement measures focused on streamlining supply chain operations.
Develops and executes long-term strategic plans for supply chain operations enabling initiatives that meet the future needs of the business line and portfolio of programs ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and audit directives.
Develop and manage SC goals, objectives for business group.
Management of Supplier Performance, global Transportation, and Strategic Agreements efforts and staff through subordinate leaders.
Develop and administer data driven business rhythms to measure and report the effectiveness of the team.
Influence capture strategy and probability of win (Pwin) with direct Capture support, or input and coordination with GSCM Strategy and Growth teams.
Conduct regular meetings with direct reports to manage communication of corporate initiatives and policy changes.
Coordinate subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions in coordination with GSCM and Program leadership.
Formulates and administers supply chain operations policies and develops long range goals and objectives.
Develops benchmarks and scored cards to be used for continuous improvement of SC organization.
Monitors external environment and internal trends, practices and utilization to remain current with sourcing and logistics procedures and systems.
Provides strong, visible, and effective leadership to supply chain operations organization.
Ensures that all subordinate personnel are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the supply chain management program meets or exceeds organizational goals.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills
In-depth knowledge of modern principles of efficient supply chain, purchasing/procurement management, materials movement and inventory control.
Advanced knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and procurement requirements
Strong organizational skills with the ability to develop and execute effective strategies
Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to respond to customer and business requests and communicate with a wide variety of levels and positions.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders with competing interests.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software

Experience/Education
Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline. Two (2) years of additional experience in supply chain management, purchasing or subcontracting may be substituted for each year of the four (4) years of college.
Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or related field, with seven (7) years leadership/supervisory experience.
Experience in a high volume, global supply chain management environment.
Experience in procurement, supply chain optimization, implementation of best industry practices, and change management.
Must have prior experience working within USG-approved purchasing system (CPSR) environment.
In the future this role may require the ability to obtain/maintain a clearance.

Amentum is seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst to contribute to the success of the Human Resources Information Systems function (HRIS) , focused in the areas of business process framework, reporting and security.
Workday experience is required. This position is a US - remote-telework role. US Citizenship is required.
Primary Responsibilities:
As part of a larger team, this role supports administration of the Workday system including all integrations, system configurations, maintaining security, data audits and corrections, and introduction of new functionality.
Leads in the design, building, testing, implementation, and troubleshooting of system enhancements and other automation projects utilizing dedicated Human Resources technology in the areas of business process workflow, security, and reporting.
Consults with departments such as Program HR, Recruiting, Payroll, and IT as needed to develop cooperation and support project requirements and specifications.
Leads HCM & Recruiting system design and development, including business process framework, domain and role security, and reporting.
Regularly perform data audits and validation and follows up with appropriate teams for corrections. Regularly conducts requirements reviews with HRIS leads and proactively develops and modifies processes to meet the needs of the business and drive efficiencies.
Supports and partners with Senior HRIS Trainer for conducting training, including developing user guides, training sessions and videos, and other training materials. Trains end users on new processes/functionality and new system users.
Contributes to the operations and the development of HRIS to support policies. Understands and maintains employees' Data Privacy compliance measures, HR laws, and regulations associated with resource and data management. Follows appropriate change control processes and approval processes when applying updates to employee records and other system configuration.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years directly related HRIS experience focused in the areas of business process framework, reporting and security
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Workday
Experience with ADP, and Deltek Costpoint, or comparable complex system
Government contracting experience preferred
Proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite
Possesses an analytical mind for translating user needs to determine when software changes should be made and how systems and processes can be made more efficient

The Senior, Global Tax Reporting Accountant will be responsible for assisting with Amentum's tax provision for its US GAAP and local statutory financial reporting. Main responsibilities:
Assist with the Non-U.S tax provisions and forecasts in accordance with local country tax regulations and U.S. GAAP tax accounting standard
Assist with collection, consolidation, and analysis of data used for global tax reporting (e.g. BEPS Pillar 2) and US tax compliance
Participate in global forecasting efforts (e.g. ETR, cash taxes)
Assist in process improvement to optimize reporting time and eliminate manual processes
Assist with Monitoring Non-US tax filing requirements
Prepare income tax account reconciliations and assist implementation and documentation of SOX 404 internal controls
Coordinate with various stakeholders, including internal accounting and finance teams, as well as external auditors
Be willing to periodically assist with ad hoc tax compliance matters as well as special projects
Main requirements:

5+ years of relevant tax experience in a public accounting firm and/or multi-national company
