Key job responsibilities

Within WWSO, this position is part of the NGDE Specialist Team, where you will lead the GTM plan for Amazon Q Developer within a specific Geography or industry vertical. You are a leader for specialists, architects, partners, and account teams and set direction and standards for how we solve customer problems in your domain. You partner with technical and business teams across AWS and bring the voice of the customer into our product development roadmap. This team sees the big picture and sets the plan so the world's most customer obsessed technical teams can make history.

A day in the life

- Lead GTM to orchestrate sales motions for sales, marketing, product, training, and professional services teams to accelerate adoption of your aligned technology domain, thinking through challenges on a 1-3+ year time scale.

- Leverage your deep domain expertise to create best in class field enablement and sales strategy.

- Support field teams in solution building for high priority customers.

- Bring market signals back to product teams to drive innovation on AWS product roadmaps.

Basic Qualifications

Key job responsibilities

Within WWSO, this position is part of the NGDE Specialist Team, where you will lead the GTM plan for Amazon Q Developer within a specific Geography or industry vertical. AWS Support is looking for a high caliber Applied Scientist to build AI/GenAI experiences and foundations for Kumo Intelligent Tooling - the organization that owns products and services used by 10,000+ AWS Support staff to help 40,000+ unique monthly AWS customers, and is responsible for AWS Support's strategic initiative to transform its business and delivery model through GenAI.

We are looking for a Principal Scientist to join us and spearhead the AI revolution through intelligent solutions that assist customers and Support staff to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. You are a hands-on contributor and will apply your knowledge to propose solutions, create software prototypes, and productize prototypes into production systems using modern software development tools and methodologies. In addition, you will support and scale your solutions to meet ever-growing customer needs use cases. Basic Qualifications

  • Proven experience with a track record of thought leadership and contributions that have advanced business and customer results through AI.
