JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for overseeing the Application Engineering team and ensuring they are delivering on-time and budget. Creates control databases, graphic screens and set-up of control systems based on project specification and/or sale proposal as needed. Performs field startup and system commissioning tasks as needed as well as the remote installation of software and control programs. Provide on-site and remote technical support to Lead Applications Engineers and Applications Engineers as well as installers and customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops and maintains standards for applications databases and processes.

Conducts performance evaluations and goal setting on Lead Applications Engineer's and Applications Engineer's.

Develops and mentors the Senior Applications Engineer's and the Applications Engineer's.

Creates programming logic using flow diagrams, sequences of operation, panel layouts, termination details and project specifications or sales proposal.

Programs control applications using various software using various software tools to support operator workstations, DDC field panels and third-party integration devices connected through multiple communications protocols.

Performs job site system checkout, commissioning and testing of control applications to verify proper operation according to project specifications, sales proposal and design documentation.

Develops system graphic displays, according to project specifications or sales proposal.

Acts as the technical liaison between owner/construction managers and deliver on-site customer operator training on the use of the installed system.

Performs system analysis and diagnostics. Determines corrective action to restore systems to proper operating condition.

Coordinates system installation with installing contractor at job site as required.

Performs final walkthrough with owner and construction manager to ensure all punch list items are complete and job received signoff of substantial completion.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Identifies new business opportunities through organization memberships, industry publications and other means of remaining abreast of industry changes.

Other duties may be assigned.

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan and supervise assignments of lower level employees.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in HVAC, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of six years related industry experience.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Must be flexible with schedule, including working some nights and holidays when requested. Must be willing to travel including some overnights.

About the role

As a CBRE Quality and Compliance Consultant, you will be responsible for guiding and participating in continuous improvement objectives. This job is part of the Contract Quality Management job function. They are responsible for managing the delivery of contractual services to ensure requirements are fulfilled.

What you'll do

  • Oversee small to medium-sized compliance programs for both company and client.

  • Interface, partner, and interact with both internal and external client's functional areas and leadership teams.

  • Communicate quality and compliance initiatives and issues across the functional areas.

  • Report Compliance status to internal and external clients during review meetings. Escalate and notify the company and client management of quality and compliance issues.

About the role

As a CBRE Quality and Compliance Consultant, you will be responsible for guiding and participating in continuous improvement objectives. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. About the role

As a CBRE Quality and Compliance Consultant, you will be responsible for guiding and participating in continuous improvement objectives. This job is part of the Contract Quality Management job function. They are responsible for managing the delivery of contractual services to ensure requirements are fulfilled.

What you'll do

  • Oversee small to medium-sized compliance programs for both company and client.

  • Interface, partner, and interact with both internal and external client's functional areas and leadership teams.

  • Communicate quality and compliance initiatives and issues across the functional areas.

  • Report Compliance status to internal and external clients during review meetings. Escalate and notify the company and client management of quality and compliance issues.

  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.

  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.

  • Work within broad guidelines and policies.

  • Explain difficult or sensitive information.

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Quality & Compliance Consultant position is $130,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Quality & Compliance Consultant position is $140,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
