CACI is seeking a cleared Systems/Maintenance Engineer to support one of our US Army Programs at Aberdeen, MD.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Review of Maintenance Concepts of system

  • Review, develop, and/or make recommendations on Engineering Change Proposals (ECP).

  • Perform trend analyses based off failure reports/data and make recommendations for corrective action.

  • Provide technical support and recommendations to Integrated Logistic Support Center (ILSC) personnel.

  • Work Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDR).

  • Work Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) 339 requests. These are parts that have issues at DLA that we need to provide a recommendation for.

  • Development of Performance Work Statements (PWS) or Statements of Work (SOW).

  • Develop ICGE for spot buys and PWS/SOW as needed.

  • Review and provide guidance on obsolescence reports and trends for replacements.

  • Support field level requests for support and correction of issue.

  • Review/make recommendations on Request for Variance (RFV).

  • Generate solutions to DMSMS issues.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • An active DoD Secret Clearance.

  • BS in Engineering.

  • General knowledge in the following:

  • Maintenance Allocation Charts (MAC)

  • National Stock Number (NSN) assignments

  • Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)

  • Transition to Sustainment plans (T2S)

  • Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP)

  • Review of Core Depot Assessment (CDA) Plan

CACI is seeking an Exploitation Engineer / Technician with electronics engineer/senior electronics technician experience to provide support at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.

More About the Role:

  • Electronics Exploitation Technician shall provide forensics and exploitation support to meet customer requirements.

  • The Exploitation Technician will serve in relation to the collection and handling of recovered electronics devices, ensuring that triage and technical exploitation occurs in accordance with organizational requirements. As the Subject Matter Expert, the candidate must be able to work independently in isolated work environments.

  • The candidate will also execute reach-back and coordination with CONUS-based engineering staff, as needed.

  • The candidate will be expected to generate forensics reporting from technical exploitation generated products and will respond to any associated analytical requirements.

  • This position may require OCONUS deployment, after requisite mission and technical orientation and training, to the CENTCOM and AFRICOM AORs. While deployed, responsibilities include installing, debugging, maintaining, upgrading of all assigned equipment as well as provide broad mission support, training, briefings, employing and fielding of the candidate's capability to include electrical forensics applications, tools, and systems.

  • This position will be available and willing to deploy to OCONUS for up to 6 months rotations.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Perform hardware and software engineering to include research, testing/debugging, exploitation, quality control, and deployment.

  • Conduct electronic analyses of target devices, including functional analyses of the target devices, understand and describe how the target functions from an electronic perspective - basic signaling characteristics; voltage levels; electrical connections; electrical modifications to commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware; logic states; operating frequencies.

  • Publish reports and briefings in order to present characterization information, electronics vulnerabilities, and exploitation recommendations.

  • Work with a team to respond to RFI's and determine best consolidated solutions to problems.

  • Research new technologies and techniques.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have an active TS/SCI.

  • BA/BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and3 years of experience or associate's degreeand 5yrs experience or HS diploma and 6yrs experience.

  • An understanding of RF communications, with a particular emphasis on complete characterization of electronic circuits.

  • Experience in electronics engineering.

  • Experience using benchtop RF equipment including Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and other equipment.

  • Perform standard RF measurements (e.g. occupied bandwidth, average power, pulse width) using the previous listed test equipment.

  • Experience in synthesizing and generating various types of RF waveforms using and arbitrary waveform generator.

  • Experience in electronics exploitation.

Desired Qualifications:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering

  • Experience doing CELLEX, DOMEX, MEDEX and/or DRONE electronic exploitation

  • Previous experience working in OCONUS DoD forensic exploitation labs, to include FXL-C and ACME Labs

  • Experience in reverse engineering electronic devices from start to finish

  • Experience in reverse engineering electronic components and circuit boards.

  • Experience supporting exploitation and modeling and simulation tool development.

  • Working knowledge of software defined radios (SDR), such as the Ettus B210 and x310. Able to interface with such units in order to transmit or receiver RF signals.

  • Basic MATLAB, C++, or Python programming skills should be able to apply digital signal processing techniques to communication signals. Techniques include digital filtering, sample rate conversion, frequency/phase estimation, demodulation, carrier recovery, timing recovery, channel equalization, pulse shaping, and forward error correction.

  • Experience working with embedded systems such as Arduino and writing programs leveraging the SPI bus to configure and analyze various chipsets.

  • Previous OCONUS deployment experience.

  • Valid Passport with 2 years of validity.

  • Develop ISR utilization and contributions summaries and manage issue and requirements tracking databases. Solicits, assesses, reviews, and publishes HUMINT Intelligence Report Evaluations from USCENTCOM analytical team.

More About the Role:

You will embed with and advise Combatant Command, National Mission Force and Interagency Partner elements at all echelons of command on effectively leveraging specially compartmented material and non-material capabilities to identify, characterize and counter WMD and Irregular Warfare threats and the networks that employ those threats.

You will provide subject matter expertise to SOCOM, Combatant Commands and their JTFs while maintaining situational awareness of applicable Special Access Programs, Special Technical Operations, ACCM, and sensitive activity plans, operations, units, and friendly and adversary capabilities.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Current Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information Security Clearance, willingness to submit to a CI Poly.

  • More than three years of specialized experience in military or IC compartmented or sensitive activities (IJSTO, SAP, ACCM, etc.).

  • Be deployable to the required theater of operations, usually conducting periodic travel within CONUS and four-month deployments to OCONUS locations.

  • You must possess the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.

  • You will be able to provide daily feedback to the team lead and supported unit on product development.

  • Willing to work rotating shifts if needed.

  • Associates degree and five years of experience or seven years of relevant work experience.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • More than three years of experience with SOF, SMU, Special or Technical Units of Federal, State or Local Law Enforcement.

CACI is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide leadership and management support to the C5ISR Center at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Initiates, leads, supervises, and/or develops requirements from a project's inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex Research and Development (R&D) programs that involve Modeling and Simulation (M&S), Signals Intelligence, and Electronic Warfare and Cyber (EW&C).

  • Assist in engineering discipline activities for conducting electronic system, subsystem and component level characterization, reverse engineering, and replication.

  • Provide hands-on physical, operational, and signals characterization of custom, commercial off the shelf (COTS), and hybrid custom/COTS circuits.

  • Provide hands-on technical forensic exploitation (TFE) support for technical intelligence (TECHINT), media exploitation (MEDEX), cell phone exploitation (CELLEX), electronic exploitation (ELEX), and other unique exploitation missions.

  • Prepare technical reports, briefs, operational diagrams, and schematics based on device characterization and analysis requirements.

  • Identify trends and evolutions in commercial based technology (CBT) equipment and utilization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Top-Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI.

  • MA/MS and 10yrs experience or BA/BS in Electrical Engineering and 18 years of experience

  • Demonstrated leadership and management ability in related engineering discipline activities for conducting system, subsystem and component level characterization, exploitation and analysis of electronic systems.

  • Experience leading efforts that provide engineering, technical, and managerial direction for problem definition, analysis, testing and implementation for complex systems down to the circuit board die and binary data transfer level.

  • Experience in electronic schematic generation and printed circuit board (PCB) layout.

  • Solid background in practical electronics and/or RF theory.

  • Basic understanding of RF communications, with emphasis on characterization of electronic circuits.

  • Experience conducting time and frequency domain measurements using benchtop equipment, to include signal generators, arbitrary waveform generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, protocol analysis tools, and other equipment.

  • Experience performing standard RF measurements (e.g.,operating frequency, occupied bandwidth, average power, pulse width, etc.) using the previouslylisted test equipment.

  • Experience with soldering and re-working electronic circuit boards and components (e.g. through-hole, surface mount, cable assemblies, wire harnesses).

Desired Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience in reverse engineering electronic circuit boards and components.

  • Basic MATLAB (and other basic programming / scripting) skills. Should be able to apply digital processing techniques to communication signals.
