The Water Services Group (WSG) has an immediate need for a Regional Team Leader (RTL) in the Southeast. This position will be based out of our Atlanta, GA, Jacksonville, FL, or New Orleans, LA office.

The Regional Team Leader is responsible for supervising a team of employees and provides mentoring, training, and leadership to inspire the team to achieve their optimal performance.

Essential Job Functions:

Supporting your employees' career journey.

Communicate, integrate, connect, and engage with your team members.

Actively participate in your team members' career paths, including identifying and completing appropriate training, achieving professional registration/certification, and assigning challenging projects.

Select a suitable mentor for your employees as part of the Career Compass Mentoring Program.

Celebrate team members at important milestones (i.e., work anniversaries, promotions, professional registration, etc.).

Conduct timely and authentic annual performance appraisals, coordinating with technical mentors, project managers, TDMs, and others.

Responsible for leveraging and application of intellectual property, especially as it relates to Community of Practice participation.

Recruit, interview, and hire new employees (as approved with the TDM) to support project workload and overall firm growth.

Delivering a legendary client experience with attention to quality.

Instill a sense of personal ownership for work product quality by each member of your team.

Coordinate workload within your Technical Services group and utilization goals for the individuals on your team.

Responsible for the actual profit margin delivered for the team.

Coordinate with your TDM for appropriate technical staff assignments.

Deliver appropriate sales support, as coordinated with the TDM.

Operational tasks that support our goal to remain private

Approve time sheets and expense reports in a timely manner.

Ensure your team members complete all required training (Compliance, Health & Safety, Ethics, etc.) on time.

Ensure your team members are compliant with QA/QC and Health & Safety procedures for project delivery.

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced manager to join our Federal Services Unit (FSU). The successful candidate will lead the application of CDM Smith's business development process to win U.S. government contracts and projects. The manager will supervise a nationwide team of marketing professionals. That team supports the FSU client services leaders in identifying and evaluating sales opportunities and in developing proposals to win new engagements. This role involves coordinating workloads to maximize staff skillsets and effectiveness, identifying training needs, and ensuring equitable training opportunities. Background Check and Drug Testing Information:

CDM Smith Inc. and its divisions and subsidiaries (hereafter collectively referred to as -CDM Smith-) reserves the right to require background checks including criminal, employment, education, licensure, etc. as well as credit and motor vehicle when applicable for certain positions. In addition, CDM Smith may conduct drug testing for designated positions. Background checks are conducted after an offer of employment has been made in the United States. The timing of when background checks will be conducted on candidates for positions outside the United States will vary based on country statutory law but in no case, will the background check precede an interview. CDM Smith will conduct interviews of qualified individuals prior to requesting a criminal background check, and no job application submitted prior to such interview shall inquire into an applicant's criminal history. If this position is subject to a background check for any convictions related to its responsibilities and requirements, employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation including criminal history. Criminal history will not automatically disqualify a candidate. In addition, during employment individuals may be required by CDM Smith or a CDM Smith client to successfully complete additional background checks, including motor vehicle record as well as drug testing.

All bonuses at CDM Smith are discretionary and may or may not apply to this position.
