As a member of the CDM Smith team, you would contribute to our mission by:
- Planning, organizing, coordinating, and implementing strategies for marketing and business development efforts across our key service area-clean energy, environment, facilities, and water.
- Developing, writing, editing, and proofreading content for proposals, presentations, resumes, project descriptions, and related marketing materials of a complex nature for our industrial/private-sector clients.
- Applying creativity/strategic insight while leading brainstorming, storyboarding, and other strategy development sessions.
- Utilizing a theme-based approach for the development of proposal and presentation efforts.
- Updating information in the CDM Smith firmwide database of resumes, project descriptions, proposals and qualification packages.
- Coordinating general client marketing efforts, including conferences, development of social media posts, webinars, and other activities
- Being actively involved in the CDM Smith marketing discipline group by participating on task forces and committees, as available.
- Developing business development, marketing, facilitation, and writing skills through internal and external training sources and associations membership and committee involvement.

- Proficient in MS Office 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, and SharePoint applications; advanced skills in Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint, including use of styles and templates; Adobe InDesign skills a plus.
- Ability to effectively coordinate projects by communicating with remote team members.
- Experience in editing/proofreading narrative written by technical professionals.
- Practical experience in facilitating large and small groups in strategy and proposal development.
- The ability to work under rigid time constraints where a narrow margin for errors or delays is allowed.
- The ability to organize and negotiate project schedules and manage multiple deadlines and assignments.
- Experience with business development/marketing process models (such as Dag Knudsen, Miller-Heiman, Shipley).
- Excellent command of grammar, the AP Style Manual, and spelling.

Job Description:
CDM Smith is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to join our IT Project Management Office (PMO). This individual oversees and serves as Project Manager for multiple Information Technology (IT) projects of moderate to high complexity. Evaluates project status and provides updates to IT management. Provides feedback on more junior project staff to IT management.
- Completes project(s) of various size that are of moderate to high complexity to scope, schedule, financial impact and deliverables agreed to by the project stakeholders and leadership.
- Evaluates project status and identifies any issues or risks. Collaborates with stakeholders, business analysts, etc. to track project scope, budget, deliverables, timeline and detailed work plan, etc. Documents and maintains records of project plan changes/updates.
- Monitors project resources and day-to-day planning of operational aspects of the project to ensure that deliverable timelines are met. Provides status updates and related reporting to ensure that projects are staffed with the appropriate Information Technology (IT) staff, stakeholders and vendor resources.
- Serves as a subject matter expert in hardware or software project's structures and technology. Mentors more junior project managers and provides expertise in support of highly complex projects or program design, as needed. Provides feedback to project team resource managers on more junior project team member's performance during the project.
- Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5 years of related experience.
- Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading Oracle R12 projects.
- Experience managing projects within ServiceNow.

Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrates expert knowledge of IT Project Management Best Practices and effectively applies to appropriate projects.
- Ability to manage multiple and often conflicting priorities and work deadlines.
- Ability to create project schedules and scope budget of IT projects of a highly complex nature.
- Possesses expert knowledge in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrates expert knowledge of PMI (Project Management Institute) standards and practices.
- Possesses moderate knowledge of ITIL, Agile/Scrum, etc. preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
Background Check and Drug Testing Information:
