As a Restaurant Associate Manager, you'll combine your passion for people and restaurant management skills to deliver excellent guest and employee experiences while driving business results. They say variety is the spice of life, and we agree! Our Restaurant Associate Managers are people leaders and execute all store operations including front- and back-of-house responsibilities. With home office support available to you on a 24/7 basis, you'll have everything you need to succeed.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • 2+ years of successful restaurant management experience

  • Ability and willingness to work 50 hours a week (five 10-hour shifts)

  • Ability and willingness to work holidays and weekends as needed

  • A caring attitude with a dedication to hospitality

  • Valid driver's license

Manage the daily operations of the accounting for credit and gift cards as well as various other accounting duties. In addition, will manage accounting staff and monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial statements and reports and ensure adherence to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Partner with cross-functional teams and external business partners to implement key business initiatives.

Manage accounting staff; responsible for day-to-day supervision and leadership Manage relationship with 3rd party payment processors, including contract negotiation and review Represent Accounting as a cross-functional project leader to successfully drive key initiatives Prepare assigned financial plans and forecasts for credit card and gift card fees and other areas as assigned Anticipate, recognize, and resolve issues impacting business processes. Create and drive solutions. Review general ledger, balance sheet, and income statement schedules and required journal entries prepared by accounting staff for accuracy and completeness Ensure an accurate and timely completion of period end duties by the accounting staff Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness. Review the comparison of P&L to operating plans and forecasts Responsible for accounting and reporting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Maintain and oversee accounting procedures and processes and make recommendations for improvements Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Experience and Education

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting - 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory or management role - Credit card and gift card accounting experience preferred - Restaurant accounting experience preferred

Certifications

- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred

Knowledge and Skills

- Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

- Ability to forge solid relationships with customers, vendors, management, and stakeholders across multiple organizational levels

- Ability to manage employees while multi-tasking projects
