The Retail & Marketing Strategy Manager plays a critical role in the success of the collective department driving key strategic initiatives and actions across Construction Industry Services Division (CISD) and across the enterprise. As a member of the leadership team, you will provide important and strategic input and facilitation, being a key enabler for the Department Head.
Job Summary:
This is a highly strategic role that relies on effective networking and exceptional interpersonal skills, as there is significant interdependency across Caterpillar with key business partners including CISD (all departments), MBDs (EXD, EMD, BCP), Component Product Groups, PSLD, Cat Financial, Global Service and the DSDs. The Strategy Manager is diligently focused on delivery and execution, relying on their strategic perspective to assure the most relevant outcome and impact in order to drive Retail & Small Core STU growth. The position often confronts complex issues or problems, which require careful analysis and diagnosis. Problems are often unique, and solutions can require non-traditional approaches. You will establish and then monitor general policies and guidelines for projects under your control to ensure specific management goals are met, and desired results are achieved. The position serves as an advisor/consultant to CISD Vice President.
Job Duties:
Leading strategy development to improve results for department and division positively impacting Retail & Small Core STU growth
Leading on-going improvement of Retail 7 Deliverable framework and the linkage to the Dealer Retail & Small Core Services Growth Plans centrally in alignment with CISD Retail & Small Core Sales Support Managers
Leading strategy and on-going support for Breakthrough #4 (Marketing Prioritized Service Events) and Breakthrough #5 (eCommerce Retail Customer Activation)
Effective champion for Retail & Small Core Go-to-Market support related to Product with Core Services Development Team
Coordinating and developing annual business plan and department expense budgets and results and coordinates rolling business management with Business Resources
Managing metrics, dashboards and supporting management tools in place to monitor performance and develop processes to ensure
rigorous data governance to maintain data integrity standards
Planning and directing all Retail related projects viewed as critical to department and the enterprise including a standardized process to ensure alignment on -Why Retail- for dealers and internal business partners highlighting the burning platform and supporting financials
Exceptional networking skills, being accessible, responsive and focused on delivery and execution
Organize and facilitate leadership meetings, ensuring clear action items and timely follow-up
Provide strategic guidance to Department Head, often leading (or co-leading) strategic initiatives that are outside of functional groups
Attend various executive/department meetings to keep a pulse on the business and help connect the dots with others across the company
Basic Qualifications:
Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.
Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

The Mobile Development Center of Excellence (Mobile COE) is seeking a Technical Lead to assist with shaping the direction and strategy for mobile development. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter capable of thinking with an enterprise perspective while still being flexible enough to keep the business running. The candidate is also responsible for assisting, coaching, and mentoring mobile developers with design, development, and architectural issues, assisting developers with their build pipelines, assessing tech trends, conducting proofs of concept, implementing governance, best practices, and guidelines, and evaluating and recommending development techniques, technologies, tooling and improve application security for existing applications with risk-based evaluations.
Responsibilities:
Plan and lead program and project planning sessions. The incumbent will function independently in leading a large, diverse program or project planning sessions. Responsibilities also include preparation and pre-work for project sessions as well as follow-up on action items by assigning ownership.
Control planning sessions -keep the team focused on project objectives. Provide input for staffing and support of programs and create accurate and detailed schedules.
Interpret, document & communicate Voice of the Customer (VOC), Voice of Business (VOB), and Critical Customer Requirements (CCR) to develop a comprehensive Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to reduce program risk and enhance the project schedule quality.

As a Condition Monitoring Advisor, you will aggregate, correlate, and create Caterpillar customer and dealer recommendations using the five elements of condition monitoring to provide critical suggested actions to help customers lower owning and operating costs, improve availability, and reduce warranty costs. These recommendations will enhance customer loyalty, increase enterprise market share, and grow parts and service sales while reducing customer costs through equipment management efficiency. What you will do:
Aggregate and correlate the five elements of condition monitoring, where all are available.
Maintains working knowledge for each of the condition monitoring five elements with subject matter expertise in at least 3 elements.
Monitors up to 300 PL-assets OR 60 VIMS-assets OR a combination of both.
Provides equipment recommendations to Caterpillar dealers and customers.
Uses enabling software tools & systems to prioritize and analyze condition monitoring data inputs.
Extracts or is provided data from the appropriate business systems including customer, dealer and contractor sources.
Identify and apply the use of analytics to promote uptime, serve the needs of the customer and accelerate issue identification.

Set up and operate a CNC milling center to produce high quality production gears and pinions in a safe and efficient manner.
Use of related components and equipment including: metal cutting tools and inserts, fixtures and clamping equipment, various hand tools, and precision measuring instruments. Jib and overhead cranes used for material handling.
Description:
Identify work piece and assist in loading on machine.
Set up and align part using work holding equipment such as fixtures, chucks, clamps, etc.
Assemble proper cutting tools for operation using tool holder, milling cutters, and indexable cutting inserts.
Load CNC program and perform a trial run to check program accuracy when needed.
Perform very close tolerance gear tooth machining and milling operations.
Use process instructions and G & M code program to operate CNC milling center.
Adjust or select machine parameters such as feed rate, speed, and offset values where required.
Perform in process inspection of machined parts as required to maintain quality requirements.
Make appropriate program changes and edits where required. May on occasion need to operate machine manually, without program.
Assist in unloading and remove processed parts from machine.
Clean up work piece removing burrs, chips, coolant, etc.
Keep facilities, material, and work area clean and orderly,
Conform to safety and inspection requirements and perform all the above operations in a safe and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
One to three years of actual, hands on, CNC milling experience; demonstrate good skill and ability on the machines operated.
Read and interpret part drawings and blueprints.
Ability to use quality inspection gaging, indicating, and measuring techniques including verniers, calipers, and micrometers.
Know basic machine shop math, including high school trigonometry.
Know basic machine shop practices.
Demonstrate basic knowledge of machining terminology and procedures.
Demonstrate a safe work history.

PRIMARY FUNCTION :
Set up, operate, and support computer numerical-control vertical turning center to produce high quality production parts in a safe and efficient manner.
Use of related components and equipment including: metal cutting tools and inserts, tool holders, collets, tool pre-setter machine, fixtures, work holding and clamping equipment, various hand tools, and precision measuring instruments. Jib and overhead cranes used for material handling.
Description:
Review manufacturing documents for operation sequence, setup and work holding information.
Identify work piece and assist in loading on machine.
Set up and align part using work holding equipment such as vices, jaws, chucks, clamps, etc.
Assemble proper cutting tools for operation using tool holder, chucks, collets, turning, boring, drills, taps, reamers, etc. Index cutting inserts as required.
Load CNC program and perform a trial run to check program accuracy when needed.
Use process instructions and G & M code program to operate CNC turning center.
Adjust or select machine parameters such as feed rate, speed, and offset values where required.
Perform very close tolerance machining operations such as turning, boring, counter boring, milling, drilling, tapping, etc. on large steel structural weldments, castings and forgings.
Perform in process inspection of machined parts as required to maintain quality requirements.
Make appropriate program changes and edits where required. May on occasion need to operate machine manually, without program.
Assist in unloading and remove processed parts from machine.
Clean up work piece removing burrs, chips, coolant, etc.
Keep facilities, material, and work area clean and orderly,
Conform to safety and inspection requirements and perform all the above operations in a safe and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
One to three years of actual, hands on, CNC machining experience; demonstrate good skill and ability on the machines operated.
Read and interpret part drawings and blueprints.
Ability to use quality inspection gaging, indicating, and measuring techniques including verniers, calipers, and micrometers.
Know basic machine shop math, including high school trigonometry.
Know basic machine shop practices.
Demonstrate basic knowledge of machining terminology and procedures.
Demonstrate a safe work history.

Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. Caterpillar's Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is seeking talented Warehouse Associates at our Waco Distribution Center located at 2901 Gateway Blvd, Waco, TX 76712.
Shifts:
Actual shift availability varies week by week. Successful candidates will be started as soon as a position becomes available on their requested shift. Please note that this could mean a sizable waiting period before starting.
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm ($18.00/hour + $1.50 shift premium)
3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday 10:00pm-6:30am ($18.00/hour +$1.50 shift premium)
Weekend Shift - Saturday - Monday 6:00 am to 6:30 pm ( $18.00/hour + $2.00 shift premium )
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Safely perform the material handling and warehousing processes required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
Operate handheld scanner to access and update information for receiving, counting and order processing.
Willingness to be trained on and operate order pickers, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and overhead hoists. Keep in mind, all available positions will operate equipment.
Report defects and need for repairs.
Utilize pneumatic tools and/or power tools to build and construct wooden shipping containers.
Utilize tools for the application of paint and rust preventative.
Perform housekeeping functions as required.
Other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time to time.

As a Condition Monitoring Advisor, you will aggregate, correlate, and create Caterpillar customer and dealer recommendations using the five elements of condition monitoring to provide critical suggested actions to help customers lower owning and operating costs, improve availability, and reduce warranty costs. These recommendations will enhance customer loyalty, increase enterprise market share, and grow parts and service sales while reducing customer costs through equipment management efficiency. What you will do:
Aggregate and correlate the five elements of condition monitoring, where all are available.
Maintains working knowledge for each of the condition monitoring five elements with subject matter expertise in at least 3 elements.
Monitors up to 300 PL-assets OR 60 VIMS-assets OR a combination of both.
Provides equipment recommendations to Caterpillar dealers and customers.
Uses enabling software tools & systems to prioritize and analyze condition monitoring data inputs.
Extracts or is provided data from the appropriate business systems including customer, dealer and contractor sources.
Identify and apply the use of analytics to promote uptime, serve the needs of the customer and accelerate issue identification.
Provides information for equipment management lead tracking and resolution.
Prepares standard written reports of recommendations for customers and their Caterpillar dealers on a monthly basis.
Facilitates ongoing customer meetings with Caterpillar dealers, product groups, JSS and others as needed.
Communicates verbal recommendations as required to customers and their Caterpillar dealers.
Builds collaborative relationships & acts as a consultant with equipment management personnel.

The Field Operations Technician I provides installation of Flowline Safety Restraints (FSR) on customer locations and assists in the flow iron shop as needed. This position will require the ability to drive a company issued vehicle.

The Occupational Health Nurse is an advanced nurse generalist applying clinical occupational nursing practices in large high-volume medical clinics, stand-alone focus facility medical stations or administrative office environments. You may be assigned special assignments and to support the local Human Resources department's strategy. You will serve as a highly skilled, autonomous occupational health nurse within the Corporate Medical Department, servicing stakeholders that may include Operations, EH&S, HR organizations, Compensation and Benefits and the Corporate Medical team.
What you will do:
Delivery of comprehensive nursing services and strategy related to employee wellness, day-to-day medical clinic support, and illness and injury prevention initiatives.
Respond to on-site medical emergency response and leads on-site Emergency Response Team (ERT), including compliance and training.
Leadership and involvement in the crafting of facility Emergency Response Plans (ERP).
Function as an autonomous nurse with the ability to respond independently to most clinical situations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support our Caterpillar employees in health and safety.
Seek ways to innovate, improve and create best-in-class occupational medical practices.
Consult and provide feedback to employees and providers on evidence bases practice guidelines.
Provide occupational support, health coaching and referrals to appropriate care.
Lead Caterpillar wellness program and wellbeing initiatives, including monthly campaigns, health initiatives and managing onsite health exams.
Partner with EH&S and HR to generate and implement ongoing improvements that support a proactive health and safety culture to improve the health and wellbeing of our team members.
Acts as the local liaison with contracted health providers, including occupational health providers and providers for the health promotion examination. Represent the Corporate Medical Department, its policies and strategy.
Act as the centralized repository for medical data and the HIPAA-compliant liaison.
Support medical processes including return-to-work, evaluating readiness, ergonomics, and other health and wellness processes.
Receive and critically evaluate medical documentation to determine the need for medical leave and the appropriateness of both medical restrictions and accommodations.
Compile and maintain accurate and complete records within appropriate database(s).
Ongoing review of internal processes, driving improvements.
What you will have:
Education/Experience: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Minnesota, 3-5 years of job-related experience in occupational medicine or acute care. Skilled in phlebotomy and active CPR. Desired: knowledge and experience of ergonomics
Medical Record Keeping and Diagnosis: Knowledge of the concepts, methods, tools, and applications used in medical record management; ability to document, manage and maintain patient medical records following established processes and guidelines. Knowledge of the techniques, roles, and responsibilities in assessing and diagnosing patients; ability to apply the knowledge appropriately assess and diagnose patients into diverse situations.
Nursing Assessment and Care - HNU and Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS ). Knowledge of MN medical and work comp laws and policies. Knowledge of regulations and standards regarding the occupational safety and health of personnel working within an organization; ability to apply relevant regulations and standards to daily work activities.
Clinical Leadership and Interpersonal Relationships : Knowledge of key business and clinical leadership concepts relevant to the healthcare function; ability to balance business needs with the needs of patients' and patient care priorities. Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner. Compliance: Knowledge of the policies and activities regarding nursing assessment and care; ability to assess patients' nursing care needs, develop and implement a nursing care plan, monitor progress, and adjust as necessary.
Office Support Tools and Medical Devices and Tools: Knowledge of commonly used office hardware, software, and equipment; ability to use the tools available at the desktop (for example: word processing, email, presentation software, and spreadsheets.
