Job Title: Furnace Operator (1st shift)

• 1st shift hours are Monday-Friday 6AM-2:30PM

• Starting pay is $19.58 per hour.

• Benefits available on Day 1.

Job Summary:

The Large Power Systems Division (LPSD) in Hodges, SC has an opening for a Furnace Operator on 1st shift. In this role, you will be responsible for charge make-up and delivery of iron. You will also set, adjust, and operate controls of one or more induction or arc furnaces to melt metal for casting purposes.

What you will do (may include, but are not limited to):

• Operates control station to monitor and control melting station

• Analyzes control signals

• Controls melting operations

• Detects deviations and initiates corrective action

What you have:

• Experience in iron pouring, ladle repair, furnace charging and furnace operation

• Must be willing to learn or understand basic gray/ductile iron charge make-up to produce iron that meets required specifications

• Verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to frequently lift and carry boxes weighing up to 35 pounds

• Ability to stand throughout a 10-hour shift

• Ability to operate heavy machinery and manufacturing equipment

• Previous machine shop, foundry, or manufacturing experience

About IPSD

Caterpillar's Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD) designs, tests and manufactures 0.5 to 18L engines that not only power Caterpillar machines, but also power over 5000 other applications including Marine, Petroleum, Industrial Applications, Electric Generators, and Locomotives. Job Summary

As a Machine Operator I, you will perform key duties associated with the machining of engine blocks and cylinder heads for Caterpillar Diesel Engines. Reporting to Section Managers, you will be part of a dynamic operations team dedicated to high-quality production.

What you will do:

• Operate machining equipment to produce high-quality parts free of defects

• Maintain records related to inventory, quality, defective parts, and equipment

• Maintain a safe and clean workstation

• Meet or exceed production standards as set by the company

• Submit and assist with Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives

• Follow standard operating procedures and specific work instructions.

• Communicate with supervisors and managers about processes within the assigned area

As a Pricing Solutions Consultant, you will provide commercial consultation and aftermarket pricing solutions to Industry segment partners. This work includes conducting price value assessments for various regions and products, review product/program profitability, analyze competitive environments, and consult on sales variance programs. As Assembly Quality Manager at Caterpillar, you will oversee the administration and continual improvement of quality management systems.

Snowflake Database Administrator

Role Definition:

As a Snowflake Database Administrator, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring the integrity, security, and performance of the Data platform that supports the data needs of various business units and functions.

You will work closely with the Enterprise Data Governance team and the Business Governance team to follow the standards and principles of data management and governance.

You will also collaborate with data engineers, data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to provide data solutions that meet the business requirements and objectives.

• Manage and monitor the Snowflake platform, including data ingestion, data transformation, data quality, data security, and data access.

• Apply the principles and policies that have been agreed with the Business Governance team regarding data source ingestion, database functional organization, and access management.

The Controls Lead will oversee the implementation and management of controls for Generative AI use case deployments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in controls management, prior experience with Generative AI projects, and the ability to effectively manage risk and compliance requirements across multiple use cases.

• Lead Change Impact Assessments for Generative AI use case deployments to identify and manage potential risks and impacts.

• Develop, implement, and monitor IT, SOX, Responsible AI, and Security controls for all AI use cases.

What You Have:

• Proficiency in Prompt Engineering.

• Experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.

• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) technologies.

• Good To Have Skills: Knowledge of AI technologies such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.

• Strong understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms.

• Solid grasp of data munging techniques, including data cleaning, transformation, and normalization to ensure data quality and integrity.

Compensation & Benefits:

Base salary for this role ranges from $108,360 - $176,040 Actual salary will be based on experience. The total rewards package, beyond base salary includes:
