GENERAL SUMMARY
The Patient Access Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and directing the actions of staff involved in the patient access / registration functions during a particular work shift. Performs specific assigned tasks and ensures the quality and quantity of work performance is consistent with policy and standard. The supervisor is proficient in the technical and professional skills of the supervised job functions and engages in staff job duties as part of the assigned work duties. Reports to the Practice Manager II.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinates and directs the actions of staff involved in patient access/registration.
Accurately processes documentation essential to billing, collecting, adjusting or maintaining patient accounts.
Acts to correct observed deviations from expected behavior and/or reports such to the manager if beyond his/her scope of authority.
Works collaboratively with patients, payers, vendors, hospital departments and other outside parties in relation to patient accounts.
Performs other duties as assigned.
LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High school graduate or equivalent.
Associate degree in Business or related field preferred.
3- 5 years of progressive health care setting experience with one year supervisory experience preferred.
Professional knowledge of areas of responsibility in order to assist in the planning and implementation of department activities.
Interpersonal skills necessary in order to assign work to subordinates.
Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9/CPT coding and third party payer insurance verification processes required.
Must possess the ability to identify problems and implement solutions for operational and organizational issues.

The Security Officer II works in collaboration with all clinical teams, specifically supporting the mental health programs to maintain a safe and therapeutic clinical environment. Ensures the security of buildings and property through regular patrols and reporting.
Ensures patient safety by completing regular environmental assessment and periodic unit rounds.
Investigates incidents that occur on health system property.
Reports as a team member to all hospital behavior emergencies. Responds quickly in a professional and therapeutic manner.
Performs least restrictive verbal and physical de-escalation techniques necessary.
Generates reports and completes follow up on incidents as directed.
Maintains and inspects alarms and safety equipment.
Assists with evacuations in emergency situations requiring strength, stamina and flexibility.
Responsible for Safe Car transport of patients being admitted in coordination with mental health clinicians.
Provides support to ensure a Safety Officer is present as needed for court proceedings.
Assists with patient admissions in a timely, organized and client-centered fashion.
Responsible for visitor management to include providing orientation, screening and badges for entrance.
Participates in debriefing of escalation events.
Assists with patient transitions as needed.
Works to establish a rapport with patients with the goal of de-escalation in mind.
Attends change of shift and unit level huddles as requested.

GENERAL SUMMARY
The Provider Portal Administrator position is the primary resource for all payer website access and must function independently and handle and understand complex situations and will report to the Senior Billing Manager. In partnership with the management team, this individual will create and implement the website access process required for all team members to obtain, change or terminate access to insurance company websites for CHS providers. The incumbent will be responsible for the design and operation of internal controls to prevent unauthorized access to payer portals and remittance cash flows, for monitoring ongoing compliance by all users with established internal controls and for processing request for access to all payer website for all revenue cycle or other approved team members based on job role and employment status. The incumbent will be responsible for understanding and effectively managing the various insurance companies' website functionality with regard to access for all provider profiles and revenue cycle operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and manage user set up in accordance with organization structure, key records and the accounts of all other users in their portal. This position will have the highest level of user access rights.
Responsible for the design and operation of internal controls to prevent unauthorized access to payer portals and remittance cash flows. Responsible to monitor ongoing compliance by all users with the established internal controls.
Process daily request based on job status and description utilizing formal internal ticket process in a timely and accurate manner.
Troubleshoot any access and issues and work with employee to achieve proper resolution.
Responsible for properly completing applications for electronic funds transfer.
Understanding and knowledge of all current insurance billing processes and website usage.
Maintain master file of all user accesses by payer.
Reports to Senior Billing Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Builds and maintains relationships with civilian and military multidisciplinary team partners to increase access to, and participation in, prevention, forensic, intervention, and treatment services for children and adolescents who have experienced child traumatic stress and their families.
Conducts education and outreach with community providers and stakeholders on trauma-informed care, CAC services, trauma screening and referral procedures, evidence-based practices, and other topics as needed.
Collaborates with program leadership to develop and implement comprehensive outreach plan, including identifying and developing outreach and/or education initiatives and supporting the onboarding of new MDT partners and CAC staff and volunteers.
Coordinates and collaborates to support consistent CAC-branded education and outreach efforts across CAC teams.
May serve as the Hampton Roads Trauma-Informed Care Network (HRTICN) Coordinator in support of HRTICN education and outreach activities in collaboration with the CAC Executive Director.
