Perform cleaning duties including scour sinks, straighten and wipe out refrigerator, wipe down stove and fan, empty garbage after lunch and at the end of the day, sweep and mop kitchen floor, clean and sanitize office/staff bathrooms, clean oven, clean trash can with bleach and water, clean counter tops with bleach and water, defrost and clean out freezers, clean, sweep and mop laundry room, dust shelves in kitchen and laundry room, and use fresh wash rinse sterile water in sinks between washing

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Maintenance Technician is the primary local source of preventive and repair maintenance at our school buildings and surrounding property. They will help ensure that our schools are a safe, inviting place for children to grow and learn. The Maintenance
Technician provides overall facilities maintenance support for multiple child care facilities to include, but not be limited to, inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, and other tasks as assigned. The Technician will work with the Facilities Manager when an outside vendor is required for repairs above the spending level of the technician. Child Care Network supplies a company vehicle and equipment for the purpose of completing assigned tasks.
- Three(3) or more years of on-the-job experience in multi-unit maintenance preferred..
- Ability to effectively use iPhone, iPad, and laptop computer (as needed).
- Knowledge of and ability to use tools of office automation, including computers and applicable software applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, and work order management software.
- Trade/vocational training.
- Time management skills.
- Knowledge of materials, methods, terminology, equipment and tools used in the maintenance, repair, and construction of building structures and systems including those used in performing rough and finished carpentry, plumbing, heating, electrical, mechanical, and painting work.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment and the ability to diagnose and correct equipment malfunctions and a working knowledge of basic machinery preventive maintenance and repair.
- Ability to read, understand, and apply facility maintenance manuals and technical bulletins, construction drawings, plans and specifications.
- Ability to perform well under pressure.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with team and center staff.
- Strong professional communication skills.
- Self- motivated and able to work alone with minimal supervision.
- Qualified to operate a company vehicle based on a motor vehicle record check and company policy.
- Provide and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for the children in our care.
- Perform preventive maintenance and general repairs and improvements to building interior and exterior spaces and facility operating systems (e.g., Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC); electrical; plumbing; other mechanical; and lighting).
- General carpentry and repair of facility structures as well as minor plumbing work
- Technicians are responsible for engaging and monitoring vendors for the purpose of completing repairs that require additional support.
- Advise Facilities Manager when a vendor is required for jobs outside technician dollar limits or capabilities.
- Technicians may be called upon to assist in inspections of renovations and new construction, as well as assisting management in identifying potential capital replacement projects.
- Utilize an iPad and cell phone to order materials, update and/or create work orders and provide status updates through Facilities Management software and systems, submitting time records, and creating schedules.
- Perform safety and security inspections of playgrounds and property.
- Monitor performance of support vendors (Landscaping, snow removal, pest control, repair vendors, etc.)

Adhere to the established schedule to the best of your ability.
Observe all Department of Motor Vehicle rules and regulations and make sure all speed limits are observed.
Complete a daily inspection of the bus, a weekly inspection of tires, oil, blades, etc. and report all bus maintenance issues to the Director.
Insure there is an adequate amount of fuel to complete the trip.
Ensure all state mandated items are present and in good working order.
Passenger Log forms should be completed as children arrive and depart the bus.
Keep the bus litter free and cleaned up after each bus run.
Ensure the safety of the children at all times.

Attend all staff trainings and pursue professional training when available.

The Payment Application Specialist will report to the Manager, Payment Application. This individual will work closely with the Finance, Revenue Billing, and Operations Services teams.
This individual is responsible for timely and accurately applying payments to comply with the company's policies, procedures and contractual requirements.
High school diploma required.
Knowledge of payment application and general accounting procedures required.
Proficiency with data entry and 10-key by touch required.
Intermediate Excel required.
Multi-unit, multi-state background desired.
Experience working with a geographically dispersed team, in a high volume, fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Process daily receipts from agencies to ensure accounts are updated promptly with payments.
Research and resolve unapplied receipts.
Investigate and rectify payment discrepancies to confirm that the account receivables are accurately reported.
Balance and reconcile total amounts posted into the billing system versus . cash received.
Monitor incoming mails/emails and distribute inquiries to the Payment Application team members.
Ensure internal and external inquiries have been addressed promptly and satisfactorily.
Assist with audits and month end close.
Support the pilot program of new billing system and accounting system conversion to Microsoft Dynamics 365 within the next 18 months, with particular emphasis on payment application data flow.

AA in ECE degree required (level II admin credential preferred)
Must be a team builder, organized and possess excellent customer service/communication skills.

Responsibilities

Computer proficient including Word, Excel and ability to learn other programs quickly
Must pass a criminal background check
Manage assigned school in accordance with company financial and budgetary guidelines.

Assist teachers with the weekly development and execution of the curriculum and program activities.
Purchase supplies, equipment, food and other materials necessary for program operations.
