Our Account Executive role is a hybrid field sales position covering the Milwaukee area with a mixture of 2-year and 4-year schools. For time spent in the field with customers we provide a company car. This role provides the opportunity to build relationships and have a high level of customer engagement. It is preferred but not required that the sales professional has a background in outside sales, cross selling, upselling, renewals, and longer sales cycles. Ideal candidates are located near Milwaukee, but we will also consider candidates from the suburban areas.

Travel Requirements: 4 days per week within designated territory

What you'll do:

Plan for Success

  • Plan, organize, and prioritize sales activities to achieve sales targets.

  • Use database tools to develop and maintain opportunities pipeline for every account in assigned territory.

  • Create and implement strategic plans for opportunities through resource management and internal collaboration.

  • Develop product knowledge and digital skills for sales calls, presentations and delivery of digital courses.

  • Provide support for instructor course set-up and student course access to drive digital activations, and usage.

  • Build itineraries and daily plans that effectively address territory priorities and optimize customer engagement.

Deliver Results

  • Achieve and/or exceed established sales targets by promoting Cengage solutions to all customers.

  • Conduct sales calls with decision makers to identify needs, propose solutions and establish relationships.

  • Represent all product offerings and platforms across disciplines for the territory.

  • Collaborate internally with account partners to implement institutional sales strategies and ensure complete coverage of all Cengage solutions for an account.

  • Use resources and internal sales support for digital customer course builds, training and implementation.

  • Confirm and communicate details with customers on options to access Cengage content in use at each account.

  • Develop relationships with channel partners to coordinate shared delivery of content and gain understanding of campus initiatives.

Manage Your Business

  • Use data to identify priorities for allocation of time and resources.

  • Continue ongoing updates and maintenance of customer database.

  • Handle travel, business and sampling budgets effectively.

  • Provide clear, timely communication and accurate reporting.

  • Exhibit digital proficiency with internal systems and when sharing Cengage solutions.

Skills You Will Need Here:

Basic:

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred or equivalent work experience and a proven, successful track record in a prior sales position.

  • Minimum of two years of successful sales or customer interaction experience.

  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change.

  • High energy and good communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Strong presentation skills.

Overview

As a member of the Inventory Control Team, the primary objective for this position is to assist in production to ensure accuracy and quality for all orders.

Responsibilities

  • Assist/Communicate with the 3rd shift Production Team to achieve nightly workload goals.

  • Utilize sight recognition and matching of numeric and alpha listings to ensure bundles and kits are accurate.

  • Continuously reach, lift, push and pull up to 40 lbs.

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our platform experiences product team. As a core member of the team, you will be a key contributor in supporting the evolution and execution of our strategy to deliver platform solutions that power our content and support the teaching and learning experience.

You are the go-to person for the APR & CTE Product Marketing team! Bringing strong organization skills and energy, you provide support across critical projects and initiatives for the Marketing and Sales teams.

The Marketing Coordinator supports the Advanced PlacementR & Career and Technical Education marketing team with various projects. The incumbent will build a strong personal knowledge of products and systems and use that to support Product Marketing Managers to help sales teams drive business.

What you'll do here:

Product Marketing Support

  • Support marketing by assisting with projects by writing copy, collecting images and assets, and collaborating with digital marketing and creative services.

  • Manage marketing project logistics from inception to execution, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, connections to objectives, and data measurement.

  • Support campaigns, sales enablement efforts, presentation and collateral development, and other projects.

  • Planning, coordinating, and budget tracking for events. Including participation in registration and in-booth engagement activities at industry and customer events, including webinars.

Sales and Marketing Data Organization

  • Generate and distribute campaign result reports to promote data-driven decision-making by the Marketing team.

  • Participate in the Product Marketing Forms (PMF) process that supplies up-to-date and accurate content for customer facing websites.

  • Support day-to-day inquiries on product and ISBN information, ensuring questions can then be answered via self-service in the vPlaybook.

  • Ensure all ISBN and product information is correct and flows correctly to the website and CRM.

Sales Enablement

  • Ensure the accuracy, quality assurance, timeliness, consistency, and completeness of the sales vPlaybook.

  • Build and maintain FAQ to include responses to product inquiries and resources for sales prospecting, qualifying, and customer retention.

Base Pay Range

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.
