We are looking for a Product Assistant to join our team and support the Product Team in various areas, including Product Development, Market Seeding, and Project Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support, including handling the reviewing process, processing invoices, providing overall product and customer database maintenance, providing budget tracking information, and processing contract and reprint requests.

  • Support Portfolio Product Manager in customer outreach including, but not limited to, customer advisory boards, surveys, and strategic virtual focus groups.

  • Prepare documents needed for meetings across the assigned product teams including Strategy Meetings, Production Launches, and digital road mapping.

  • Collect and analyze internal and external sales data to be used by Product Managers in strategic decision-making.

  • Collaborate with Marketing to maintain competitor information grids by market for key titles/features/assets.

  • Help in the design and execution of market research and gap analyses, and assist in reviewing data to inform and identify potential ideas for improvement.

  • Provide sales and marketing team members with priority information upon request.

  • Conduct research on instructor needs in advance of new editions and product updates in collaboration with team, Learning Designer and Instructional Designer.

  • Develop select ancillaries and deliver them to the production editor in a form ready for publication within timing and budgetary guidelines.

  • Support product management and content development competitive benchmarking documentation efforts.

  • Utilize Customer Relationship Database to verify instructor information, product information, request materials, and to find users of products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PPT, and databases

  • Strong comfort level with new and emerging technologies

  • Strong orientation to detailed work and follow-through

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Work optimally and efficiently with a dynamic, collaborative team.

  • Communicate in all mediums without hesitation.

Preferred:

  • Proven desire to take initiative and follow a project through to conclusion autonomously

  • Creative and analytical problem-solving background with the ability to interpret data into impactful insights

  • Customer-facing or sales experience

  • Excellent networking skills

The Sr Program and Curriculum Specialist, Bookkeeper will support the design and direction of ed2go Programs. Collaborating in partnership with product managers, instructional designers, content managers, and other colleagues, the successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of innovative, high-quality educational products and ensure timely support to internal and external partners.

What you'll do here:

Course Support and Development

  • Act as the liaison between instructors and the Content maintenance team on everything from minor updates to larger comprehensive updates as appropriate for each course.

  • Perform formal reviews of course content for relevance over time and ensure our courses represent current requirements, certifications, and industry standards.

  • Work as the knowledge expert on new course developments and course spin-offs.

Product Operations Support

Roadmap Planning

Engagement and Outreach

  • Attend internal sales training sessions to enhance employee understanding of course content and associated careers.

  • Participate in hosting webinars for prospective students to help them determine if enrolling is the right decision for them.

  • Support the Cengage Work cross-functional teams in efforts to maintain exam pass and course completion rates and obtain feedback from employers.

  • Help with B2B customer-facing presentations and engagements to foster program adoption and alignment with industry regulations.

  • Support B2B contacts for course evaluations, endorsements, advisor selection, and community outreach efforts.

Instructional Support

  • Understand instructor responsibilities and facilitate sessions for assigned students.

  • Assist in course instruction oversight by moderating discussion boards, responding to student inquiries, and providing feedback on assignments.

  • Help maintain course quality and instructor support.

  • Review survey feedback, ratings, and Discussion Area posts and communicate results and feedback to the instructors.

  • Assist in managing and relaying program details, including post-completion steps such as preparation tools for certification exams and job placement.

Team Member

  • Participate in department activities (team meetings, projects, social activities), attend "run-the-business" meetings, and embody the Cengage Ethos and Credo.

Skills you will need here:

Required

  • Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or related field

  • Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or equivalent certification

  • Proficient in bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks

  • 2-3 years' experience in a comparable professional capacity, or similar professional role

  • 0-1 years' people management experience

  • 1-2 instructing experience in person and/or online

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Attend internal sales training sessions to enhance employee understanding of course content and associated careers.

  • Participate in hosting webinars for prospective students to help them determine if enrolling is the right decision for them.

  • Help with B2B customer-facing presentations and engagements to foster program adoption and alignment with industry regulations.

The Sr Program and Curriculum Specialist, Bookkeeper will support the design and direction of ed2go Programs. Collaborating in partnership with product managers, instructional designers, content managers, and other colleagues, the successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of innovative, high-quality educational products and ensure timely support to internal and external partners.

What you'll do here:

Course Support and Development

  • Act as the liaison between instructors and the Content maintenance team on everything from minor updates to larger comprehensive updates as appropriate for each course.

The Sr Program and Curriculum Specialist, Bookkeeper will support the design and direction of ed2go Programs. Collaborating in partnership with product managers, instructional designers, content managers, and other colleagues, the successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of innovative, high-quality educational products and ensure timely support to internal and external partners.

What you'll do here:

Course Support and Development

  • Act as the liaison between instructors and the Content maintenance team on everything from minor updates to larger comprehensive updates as appropriate for each course.

  • Perform formal reviews of course content for relevance over time and ensure our courses represent current requirements, certifications, and industry standards.

  • Work as the knowledge expert on new course developments and course spin-offs.

Product Operations Support

Roadmap Planning

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support, including handling the reviewing process, processing invoices, providing overall product and customer database maintenance, providing budget tracking information, and processing contract and reprint requests.

  • Support Portfolio Product Manager in customer outreach including, but not limited to, customer advisory boards, surveys, and strategic virtual focus groups.

  • Prepare documents needed for meetings across the assigned product teams including Strategy Meetings, Production Launches, and digital road mapping.

  • Collect and analyze internal and external sales data to be used by Product Managers in strategic decision-making.

  • Collaborate with Marketing to maintain competitor information grids by market for key titles/features/assets.

  • Help in the design and execution of market research and gap analyses, and assist in reviewing data to inform and identify potential ideas for improvement.

  • Provide sales and marketing team members with priority information upon request.

  • Conduct research on instructor needs in advance of new editions and product updates in collaboration with team, Learning Designer and Instructional Designer.

  • Develop select ancillaries and deliver them to the production editor in a form ready for publication within timing and budgetary guidelines.

  • Support product management and content development competitive benchmarking documentation efforts.

  • Utilize Customer Relationship Database to verify instructor information, product information, request materials, and to find users of products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PPT, and databases

  • Strong comfort level with new and emerging technologies

  • Strong orientation to detailed work and follow-through

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

The Sr Program and Curriculum Specialist, Bookkeeper will support the design and direction of ed2go Programs. Collaborating in partnership with product managers, instructional designers, content managers, and other colleagues, the successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of innovative, high-quality educational products and ensure timely support to internal and external partners.

What you'll do here:

Course Support and Development

  • Act as the liaison between instructors and the Content maintenance team on everything from minor updates to larger comprehensive updates as appropriate for each course.

  • Perform formal reviews of course content for relevance over time and ensure our courses represent current requirements, certifications, and industry standards.

  • Work as the knowledge expert on new course developments and course spin-offs.

Product Operations Support

The Sr Program and Curriculum Specialist, Bookkeeper will support the design and direction of ed2go Programs. Collaborating in partnership with product managers, instructional designers, content managers, and other colleagues, the successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of innovative, high-quality educational products and ensure timely support to internal and external partners.

What you'll do here:

Course Support and Development

  • Act as the liaison between instructors and the Content maintenance team on everything from minor updates to larger comprehensive updates as appropriate for each course.

  • Perform formal reviews of course content for relevance over time and ensure our courses represent current requirements, certifications, and industry standards.

  • Work as the knowledge expert on new course developments and course spin-offs.

Product Operations Support

  • Help facilitate the product launch process, assist new instructors, respond to queries, and support in hosting webinars.

Roadmap Planning

  • Support planning processes to ensure courses meet high-quality standards.

  • Assist in conducting competitor course reviews and collaborate with the product team to understand and predict trends and participate in refining product strategies.

  • Work closely with product managers to complete product strategy documents, identify advisory board members, and preplan for examination changes, textbooks, and changes in other course assets.

Engagement and Outreach

  • Attend internal sales training sessions to enhance employee understanding of course content and associated careers.

  • Participate in hosting webinars for prospective students to help them determine if enrolling is the right decision for them.

  • Support the Cengage Work cross-functional teams in efforts to maintain exam pass and course completion rates and obtain feedback from employers.

  • Help with B2B customer-facing presentations and engagements to foster program adoption and alignment with industry regulations.

  • Support B2B contacts for course evaluations, endorsements, advisor selection, and community outreach efforts.

Instructional Support

  • Understand instructor responsibilities and facilitate sessions for assigned students.

  • Assist in course instruction oversight by moderating discussion boards, responding to student inquiries, and providing feedback on assignments.

  • Help maintain course quality and instructor support.

  • Review survey feedback, ratings, and Discussion Area posts and communicate results and feedback to the instructors.

Our Account Executive role is a hybrid field sales position covering the Milwaukee area with a mixture of 2-year and 4-year schools. For time spent in the field with customers we provide a company car. This role provides the opportunity to build relationships and have a high level of customer engagement. It is preferred but not required that the sales professional has a background in outside sales, cross selling, upselling, renewals, and longer sales cycles. Our Account Executive role is a hybrid field sales position covering the Milwaukee area with a mixture of 2-year and 4-year schools. For time spent in the field with customers we provide a company car. This role provides the opportunity to build relationships and have a high level of customer engagement. It is preferred but not required that the sales professional has a background in outside sales, cross selling, upselling, renewals, and longer sales cycles. Ideal candidates are located near Milwaukee, but we will also consider candidates from the suburban areas.

Travel Requirements: 4 days per week within designated territory

What you'll do:

Plan for Success

  • Plan, organize, and prioritize sales activities to achieve sales targets.

  • Use database tools to develop and maintain opportunities pipeline for every account in assigned territory.

  • Create and implement strategic plans for opportunities through resource management and internal collaboration.

  • Develop product knowledge and digital skills for sales calls, presentations and delivery of digital courses.

  • Provide support for instructor course set-up and student course access to drive digital activations, and usage.

  • Build itineraries and daily plans that effectively address territory priorities and optimize customer engagement.

Deliver Results

  • Achieve and/or exceed established sales targets by promoting Cengage solutions to all customers.

  • Conduct sales calls with decision makers to identify needs, propose solutions and establish relationships.

  • Represent all product offerings and platforms across disciplines for the territory.

  • Collaborate internally with account partners to implement institutional sales strategies and ensure complete coverage of all Cengage solutions for an account.

  • Use resources and internal sales support for digital customer course builds, training and implementation.

  • Confirm and communicate details with customers on options to access Cengage content in use at each account.

  • Develop relationships with channel partners to coordinate shared delivery of content and gain understanding of campus initiatives.

Manage Your Business

  • Use data to identify priorities for allocation of time and resources.

  • Continue ongoing updates and maintenance of customer database.

  • Handle travel, business and sampling budgets effectively.

  • Provide clear, timely communication and accurate reporting.

  • Exhibit digital proficiency with internal systems and when sharing Cengage solutions.

Skills You Will Need Here:

Basic:

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred or equivalent work experience and a proven, successful track record in a prior sales position.

  • Minimum of two years of successful sales or customer interaction experience.

  • Values and appreciates diversity of thought; able to work with diverse audiences both internally and externally.

  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change.

  • High energy and good communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Strong presentation skills.

  • Competitive spirit and high business acumen.

  • Demonstrated understanding of applied computer technology.

  • Comfortable using technology in performing routine job tasks and for product demonstration purposes.

  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.

  • Proficiency in PC and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to travel with some overnight in certain territories and for sales meetings; must be able to travel by both auto and air.

  • Located within assigned sales territory or near a Cengage office for an Inside Sales role.

Preferred:

  • Direct sales, marketing, or editorial experience

  • Prior ed tech sales experience

  • Proficiency in social media web platforms

Overview

As a member of the Inventory Control Team, the primary objective for this position is to assist in production to ensure accuracy and quality for all orders.

Responsibilities

  • Assist/Communicate with the 3rd shift Production Team to achieve nightly workload goals.

  • Utilize sight recognition and matching of numeric and alpha listings to ensure bundles and kits are accurate.

  • Continuously reach, lift, push and pull up to 40 lbs.

  • Adhere to all safety practices and policies.

  • Must be able to stand/walk for 8-10 hours.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • At least 18 years of age.

  • Ability to consistently push, pull and lift up to 40 lbs throughout an 8-10 hour shift.

  • Ability to occasionally push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs throughout an 8-10 hour shift.

  • Skilled in site recognition/matching of numeric and alpha groupings.

  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions.

  • Ability to write legibly.

  • Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide if necessary.

  • Must be flexible with work hours.

  • Basic computer skills including LogPro.

  • Stand and walk for 8-10 hours.

  • Adhere to all safety practices and policies.

  • Inventory Control experience required.

  • Ability to drive various equipment through the DC.
