We are looking for a marketing automation specialist to join our team. The successful candidate is a diligent and intelligent individual who can make an immediate positive impact. Your mission is to design, build, and measure marketing programs, and improve the effectiveness of our marketing automation platform (Eloqua). In this role, you can have a significant impact in an already rapidly growing organization. You will work closely with other SMEs in strategy, analytics, and integrated campaigns to bring the team's campaign strategy to life.
This role reports to the Marketing Automation Manager. Daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, end-to-end campaign build (segment, email, canvas, etc.), development of dynamic content and other customization, and monitoring/optimization of the campaign. The goal is to deliver high-quality marketing programs and help increase speed / agility throughout our overall campaign processes.
This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated, technical individual who thrives in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will have proven, hands-on experience building, launching and optimizing successful marketing automation programs in Eloqua.
Duties and Responsibilities
Understand and help improve our marketing automation strategy and process
Work with a core team of subject matter experts to design, deploy, monitor and optimize campaigns, supporting specific stages of the customer journey
Build and maintain automated marketing campaigns with performance focus
Monitoring of segment performance and -handoffs- to the next stage in the customer journey
Build out sophisticated campaigns in a clear and maintainable manner
Assist in the technical conceptualization of demand creation, nurturing and scoring program strategy
Assist in the maintenance of the marketing automation platform including scoring, forms, multi-touch drip nurture and broadcast emails, profiling, segmentation, and other workflows
Reinforce and support marketing automation standard methodologies
Help minimize list fatigue and opt-outs to improve email deliverability
Ensure timeliness and quality of campaign execution
Required Skills:
College degree in Marketing or equivalent experience
2+ years' experience in high-tech B2B campaign execution and operations, integrated marketing and demand generation
1+ years' experience using marketing automation platforms (Eloqua or SFMC preferred)
Ability to work with large datasets, and complex databases
Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to accurately specify project timeframes, dependencies and risk factors, and manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously
Ability to think logically and critically when troubleshooting
Problem solving ability and consideration of process improvements
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication

Position Description: Independently, manage content digitization projects and perform advanced technical tasks. Under mentorship from the District Sales Manager, the Gale K12 Strategic Account Manager achieves financial targets through developing and maintaining sales of K12 Gale products to top school partners in the East. This HUNTER position is responsible for contacting targeted School Districts along with developing strategic partnerships.
What you'll do here:
Develop and maintain business relationships, creating and implementing sales strategies and tactics, that build the business and brand.
Improve sales through identifying customers' needs, matching K12 Gale products to those needs, preparing and delivering sales presentations, writing proposals, and closing sales with school accounts.
Represent Gale at key industry events such as regional, state and national K12 educational conferences, exhibitions and trade shows.
Forecast territory projected sales accurately, as well as ensure that activity is updated in CRM systems on a regular basis
Uncover opportunities and solicit information from school librarians, school administration, and subject area teachers through effective questioning and listening.
Finds opportunities for new partnerships
Strengthening existing relationships and collaborations, analyzing and reporting on partner initiatives, forecasting on strategic changes
Work closely with the rest of the sales team and with other departments such as marketing, customer services, customer care, sales support, and product development by offering market feedback and intelligence
Analyze revenue data, negotiating contracts and pricing with partner organizations

Required Skills:
Minimum of 5 years sales experience within the school market or equivalent

Detailed record of accomplishment at meeting/exceeding sales goals.
Verifiable history of achieving new business goals, creating, and implementing sales strategies, improving sales through identifying customers' needs, matching products to those needs and closing sales.
Proven team member proficiency including working closely with the rest of the sales team, marketing, customer support and product development by offering market feedback and intelligence.
Talent for cultivating effective working relationships with customers and colleagues, further illustrating the ability to influence decision makers by developing and maintaining an effective professional network.
Strong organizational skills with an enthusiastic and self-motivated approach
Excellent presentation and sales call preparation skills
Flexibility to adapt sales approach to suit the customer and product.
Comfort with virtual selling and remote customer engagement (Telephone, Zoom).

As a member of the National Geographic Learning Course Solutions team, the Designer carries out the design vision for digital and print programs adding creative value throughout the process. Primarily the designer will implement designs within components to assist the Creative Director, Managing Art Director, or Senior Designer with overall program implementation. They will participate in concepting, thumb nailing, photo reviews, and live development reviews, as needed, to assure fidelity to the creative vision. The Designer has selected opportunities to build original designs and assures that the design of key features is reflected in assigned components, both print and digital. What you will do here: Design Execution 80% + Crafts layouts aligned to approved prototypes and specifications using existing UI libraries + Provide design support to team related to creation and development of graphics, icons, and photo retouching and manipulation + Handles time effectively on all assignments + Partners with AD/Sr. Designer to connect with outside creatives + Builds and provides materials for market research efforts, as needed 2. Concepting and prototyping 10% + Under the direction of the Art Director, translates the program's content into a visual design experience + Integrates feedback from internal collaborators; understands program objectives and incorporates feedback into designs + Understands the instructional framework and adds to a program's pedagogy through design solutions + Coordinates with Media Research to identify visuals needed + Coordinates with the Production Specialists as needed on prototypes 3. Collaborative development 10% + Works with the Design team to implement standard methodologies towards excellent design and brand experience + Looks for ways to streamline product development processes + Keeps managers and project team advised of status of assigned work and communicates effectively with team + Develop an understanding of the resources of the National Geographic Society and seek opportunities to apply them in engaging digital experiences.
