Ferguson is seeking a Fabrication Associate - Entry Level to join our team!

Schedule: M-F 6:30am-3pm

Responsibilities:

  • Setup and maintain machines in the shop for pipe fabrication

  • Accurately measure, record, and add random pipe length

  • Measure and cut pipe with band saw and/or torch, rolling and grooving single and double random lengths and threading and beveling of pipe with landis machines

  • Move loose and /or bundled pipe from various locations within the pipe yard

  • Assemble pipe orders whether in single sticks or bundles and maintain work supplies in an organized manner

  • Observe vital safety precautions for fabrications, cutting, assembling, stacking and shipping of pipe for storage and transportation

  • Operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and Ferguson safe operating procedures

Qualifications:

  • Prior fabrication experience is preferred but not required

  • Outstanding math skills and the ability to calculate quantities of product on hand

  • Experience and training in operating machinery for the use of cutting and threading pipe according to OSHA regulations preferred

  • Ability to remain results-focused in the fast-paced customer service environment

Ferguson Industrial Southeast also has a fleet of more than 150 rental fusion machines, Certified Master Mechanics and full equipment support for butt fusion, socket fusion & electro-fusion applications. Additionally, Ferguson has a major PP-RCT fabrication facility to support the Southeast along with fusion equipment set up to support the PP-RCT industry.

We are searching for a candidate who has passion & experience selling thermoplastic products and services including HDPE, PP, PP-RCT, PVDF, ECTFE, along with supporting non-corrosive products. This role is crafted for someone that wants to learn about this business through executing in the office for our customer facing team in the field.

Schedule:

M-F 8am - 5pm

Responsibilities:

  • Expected to be in one of our branches in VA, NC, SC, GA, FL working alongside our team.

  • Support outside sales team in the assigned geography for all industrial plastics products.

  • Work alongside industrial plastics team to create a positive environment working together for our internal customers and external customers.

Qualifications:

  • 0-3 years of commercial truck driving experience is strongly preferred

  • Valid CDL Class A

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm plus overtime when needed

Responsibilities:

  • Able to perform basic appliance installation and possess the desire to learn custom appliance installations - training provided.

  • Accurate handling and installation of basic gas and electric household appliances such as washers, dryers, ranges, and refrigerators.

  • Ensures the installed appliances are damage free, accurately installed according to manufacturer's specifications and are fully functioning.

  • Interact expertly and courteously with builders, designers and on-site customers - you take care of a vast array of customers.

  • Attend company paid installation training seminars and certifications to stay up-to-date on all product changes.

  • Be responsible for providing driver duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience with Appliance Delivery & Installation Service is preferred.

  • Valid state issued license is required.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Possession of a DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.

  • With the assistance of lifting equipment such as stair climber, oven lifts, and/or air sled, the ability to lift 70+ pound objects frequently and 90+ pound objects occasionally.

  • Ability to deliver -white glove service- to customers. Excellent customer service skills are a must!

  • Mechanical skills and willingness to learn.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
