Pay: Starting at $22.00 per hour or higher depending on experience
Responsibilities:
Provides advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs
Processing orders via order management system
Operate cash registers and follow established cash handling procedures
Prepare and stage orders for customer pick up
Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards as advised
Ensure that merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areas
Maintain a safe working environment including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
May be responsible for providing back-up driver duties and responsibilities
Qualifications:
3-5 years experience preferred
Basic knowledge of HVAC or plumbing products is preferred
Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid state issued license is required.
General computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required
Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
General math skills to allow for cash accounting
An ability to learn is a must have!
Excellent decision making and communication skills

Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Branch Manager in our Riverhead location. This location sells a mix of HVAC and Plumbing products.
This position leads local operations of this location which includes a showroom, inside sales team, counter, and warehouse. The successful candidate will establish relationships with both Plumbing and HVAC customers to grow sales of both products..
Position Details
Reports to the Area Branch Manager
Direct oversight of 1 to 2 associates
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
Pay: starting at $32 per hour or higher depending on experience
Responsibilities
Provide leadership for the organization's customer-facing associates and branch functions
Develop a team with focus on customer service, policy and strategy implementation
Run the overall operation of a branch location including hiring, coaching, and scheduling of employees to ensure efficient and quality branch operations
Maintain inventories at adequate levels, promote sales, and maintain the appearance of the branch
Build and maintain an environment of engagement by listening to feedback from leaders, associates, and customers and implementing solutions to solve problems
Analyze store data and identify areas of opportunity, and implement solutions to continuously improve the overall performance of the location
Performs all work in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations and procedures
May be responsible for providing back-up driver duties and responsibilities
Qualifications
3+ years leadership/management experience is preferred
Prior plumbing or HVAC industry experience is strongly preferred
Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid state issued license is required
Ability to lead and empower individuals and teams
Ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task and effectively lead through stressful situations
Proven track record to use data and metrics to implement effective solutions
Demonstrated success in problem solving and delivering results
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm plus a Saturday rotation
Responsibilities:
Greet guests upon arriving in our showroom, learn their motivation for their visit and developing a lasting customer relationship
Answer and direct incoming phone calls with a positive demeanor
Optimally communicate appointment policy
Manage customer sign-ins, appointment book and customer job folders
Maintain bid follow-up system and prepare literature packages
Address -Thank You- cards to customers for full house selections
Qualifications:
Have a high school diploma/GED or equivalent education.
Experience in sales and customer service
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required
Proficient with the following software applications: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
Attention to detail in task oriented job responsibilities.
Analytical thinking and an eye for business

This is a field-based sales role supporting customers in the Cleveland or Pittsburgh area. This position will need to be based in the Cleveland or Pittsburgh area. A fuel card, auto allowance, travel and expense card, company cell phone & laptop will be provided.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and an assigned customer base, while working with other branch associates to ensure happiness with our products and services, from the order to the delivery and beyond.
Identifies and actively pursues new business opportunities to expand the current customer base by working with management in developing sales strategies and new account targeting.
Perform various duties including product quotation and problem resolution.
Analyzes competition in territory, devise sales strategy, and communicate sales strategy to management.

Qualifications:
0-3 years of commercial truck driving experience is strongly preferred
Valid CDL
Must be at least 21 years of age
Possession of a DOT Medical Card or the ability to acquire a DOT Medical Card
Ability to lift items that weigh up to of 50lbs
A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus
Good communication and customer service skills as well as general digital literacy
Responsibilities:
Deliver materials to the customer, which includes assistance with loading and unloading and ensuring delivery of ticket with material
Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) standards and regulations
Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material

Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Waterworks Quotations Specialist! This role is responsible for the development of quotations on waterworks projects while establishing close relationships with the branches, vendor representatives, and ensuring outstanding customer service. If you have a background in construction estimating, are goal-oriented, have strong communication and follow-up skills, and enjoy building relationships and a team atmosphere, this is an excellent opportunity to grow with an industry-leading organization!
The ideal candidate can be based out of any of our 5 markets that include Kansas City, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Northwest Arkansas and Little Rock. An in office presence in accordance with Ferguson's Flex schedule; 3 days office / 2 days remote is preferred. Candidates outside of the metro will be considered.
Responsibilities
Gather required data for quote preparation, data entry of new quotes, and contact vendors for job quotes
Work directly with partners and clients to determine project scope, specifications, requirements, and perform calculations
Keep current of new products, trends, market cost, and pricing
Follow up on customer quotes and contacts vendors for material pricing
Coordinate with vendors to ensure that pricing data is received in a timely manner
Participate in the resolution of any and all pricing related issues
Analyze specifications, including sketches, blueprints, bills of material, or sample layouts
Assess cost-effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops
Sends completed quotes to sales representative and/or customer, builder, or designer one day in advance of the identified due date
Confer with owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates
Completes Project Work - Using and Maintaining Smartsheet and/or BidTracer to update Summary and Tracker and manage orders
Develop knowledge of the organization's products, services, and customers by working closely with more experienced brand/product managers
Recommend products and services that fit well with clients' business needs
Assist Project Managers with execution of project in accordance with organization's project management methodology according to established project plan
Identify, develop, and gather the resources to complete the project
Establish, maintain, and develop effective sales relationships with major accounts/customers
Participate in corporate-wide initiatives involving pricing functions, philosophies or processes
Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management
Qualifications
2+ years of construction related project management, project coordinator, quotations, or estimating experience, preferred
Waterworks quotations or product knowledge is highly preferred
Prior use of PlanSwift, BidTracer, Salesforce, or similar estimating software, highly preferred
Familiarity with customer quotations software, such as Planswift, Blubeam, and On Center are highly preferred
Construction experience with water & sewer and storm drain materials, a huge plus
Knowledge of wastewater treatment plants, booster pumps, pump stations , a plus
Computer savvy including typing, navigating multiple software programs simultaneously and using MS Office tools
Ability to be flexible, adaptable and multitasking skills needed, including the ability to juggle multiple requests in a timely manner
Self-starter, creative problem solver, and eagerness to learn and grow
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with people at multiple levels of the organization
Ability to function effectively in an autonomous setting
Proven attention to detail coupled with organizational skills
