Ferguson is currently seeking a proven Fire & Fabrication Outside Sales Representative to fill an immediate need with growing market opportunities. If you are self-motivated, dedicated and can provide phenomenal customer service coupled with a passion for contributing directly to the bottom line of a multi-billion-dollar organization, this is the position for you!

This is a field-based sales role supporting customers in the Jacksonville, Tallahassee, South of Daytona and Savannah, GA area. This position will need to be based in the same area. A fuel card, auto allowance, travel and expense card, company cell phone & laptop will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and an assigned customer base, while working with other branch associates to ensure happiness with our products and services, from the order to the delivery and beyond.

  • Identifies and actively pursues new business opportunities to expand the current customer base by working with management in developing sales strategies and new account targeting.

  • Perform various duties including product quotation and problem resolution.

  • Analyzes competition in territory, devise sales strategy, and communicate sales strategy to management.

  • Continually improve sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional image in the field.

  • Documents all sales activity performed in our internal Customer Relationship Management tool (Salesforce) for ongoing evaluation of the new business pipeline and measurement of sales closure results.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years industry related sales experience is required

  • A successful associate will be results oriented, self-motivated, able to complete tasks in a timely manner, build relationships and enjoy a team environment

  • Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills

  • Problem solving, leadership and listening skills

  • General digital literacy

  • Self-Motivator, ability to multi-task and learn quickly

This is a commission eligible role. The estimated total compensation range is $80,000 - $120,000+ annually.

This associate will report directly to the Southeast Industrial Project Team Leader and will focus on quoting and managing capital industrial projects. Project quotations, opportunity tracking, order entry, securing additional PO's, customer communications, jobsite coordination's, branch communication, managing vendors & ensuring the customer has a great experience on their project are some of the primary tasks of this role.

This is a remote role that will support the Mid-South/Atlantic Region. Our ideal candidate must be in EST time zone, preferably within easy commuting distance of locations in AL, FL, GA, KY, MS, NC SC, TN, & VA.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage project quotes, track opportunities, and build rapport with potential and existing customers.

  • Execute on secured orders. Taking a quote, vendor quotes & customer PO all the way through order entry, expediting, and to the jobsite. Owning the project so the customer has a single point of contact.

  • Work with and hand off smaller requests to our branch network and ensure proper execution.

  • Limited travel to warehouses & jobsites for kickoff meetings, onsite trailer setup, or issues that arise.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget

  • Recommend products and services that fit well with clients' business needs

  • Identify, develop, and gather the resources to complete the project

  • Establish and maintain effective sales relationships with major accounts/customers

  • Monitor progress and performance against the project plan; resolve operational problems and minimize delays

  • Work directly with partners and clients to determine project scope, specifications, requirements, and perform calculations

  • Conduct project meetings and prepare regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team

  • Responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of supplies, materials, and equipment

  • Provide a high level of assistance to program/project managers to ensure projects are carried out according to plan

Qualifications

  • 0 - 3 years of relevant Sales or Project Management experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred but not required

  • Industry knowledge is preferred

  • Project Management Professional certification highly desirable but not required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, Access, etc.)

  • Detail-orientated with a proven ability to organize and prioritize work

Responsibilities:

  • Manage project quotes, track opportunities, and build rapport with potential and existing customers.

  • Work with and hand off smaller requests to our branch network and ensure proper execution.

  • Manage project quotes, track opportunities, and build rapport with potential and existing customers.

  • Work with and hand off smaller requests to our branch network and ensure proper execution.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • 0-3 years of commercial truck driving experience is strongly preferred

This position coordinates a team of hourly associates working a 2nd shift schedule beginning at 3:00PM.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the workload planning, production, and execution of a fast-paced operation with the leadership and development of associates

  • Coordinate and ensure all safety and regulatory compliance in a proactive and positive manner

  • Lead all aspects of shift operations to include selection, shipping, receiving, cross docking and trailer loading operations

  • Establish weekly operations plans to ensure all customer volume is processed in a timely manner

  • Run DCs quality functions: supervise internal/external quality controls; track service commitment levels and effectiveness, develop quality initiatives; implement standard methodologies.

  • Balance workload planning to reach budget and production goals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred

  • 5+ years' management experience in supply chain distribution

  • WMS and LMS experience strongly preferred

  • Proficient in OSHA and DOT regulations

  • Project management experience desired (LEAN, KAIZEN, Agile)

  • Previous experience implementing employee engagement, mentoring and development initiatives

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required
