As the Warehouse Associate we need someone who will own a variety of material handling duties such as receiving, loading/unloading material, pull/assemble customers' orders and inventory checks. This position involves daily use of forklift and/or crane equipment.

Primary Objective:

  • Performs a variety of material handling duties associated with the warehouse.

Major Function and Scope:

  • Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor product, maintain displays (tools, caulk, etc.), move, store, and replenish material, and conduct daily cycle counts.

  • Performs receiving duties such as receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, stock material, process customer returns and notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.

  • Operates crane forklift equipment.

  • Maintains clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom and general office maintenance, etc.

  • May wait on customers and prepare sales slips.

  • Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to Management.

  • Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience; Certified Forklift Operator

  • Crane Forklift experience is a plus

  • 3+ years previous warehouse experience preferred.

Competencies:

  • Basic math skills, organization skills, customer service skills, fluency in English, detail oriented, and safety conscious.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Job Description:

  • Monitors tile entering and exiting the kiln to ensure the process is operating efficiently.

  • Inspects tile for defects.

  • Records temperature of kiln every hour during shift.

  • Collects tile samples for the lab.

  • Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to the supervisor.

  • Follows ISO operating procedures and control plan.

  • Helps maintain a team environment by cooperating and communicating with the team.

  • Ability to maintain a clean workstation, conform to all safety and health requirements, and must be able to be at a workstation at shift change.

  • Demonstrate safe work practices.

  • Performs other related duties as required.

Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience

Education and Knowledge:

Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Press Technical Engineer to join our TEAM! As the Press Technical Engineer, we need someone who is ready to be the primary support and resource of all things press related for all of our plants.

Primary Objective

To be a primary resource for all things press related, for all of our plants. Including but not limited to technology, performance optimization, process improvements, and general maintenance and technical support.

Major Function and Scope

  • Ensures Press equipment is working safely and efficiently.

  • Provide technical assistance for all Dal-Tile plants for presses and dryers

  • Develops and implements training procedures and plans to train employees on new processes and equipment as well as improving skills.

  • Responsible to keep major parameters/programs for each machine and for each format updated and look to improve them for better quality and productivity.

  • Maintain records of major equipment history and modifications to advance to other plants as needed.

  • Evaluate performance of different equipment in different plants and outline improvement plans.

  • Work with the engineering group and Project Engineer on the activities within the department, including new capacity studies.

  • Execute successful implementation of projects on machines as identified.

  • Design, develop, implement, and test technical solutions based on business requirements.

  • Identify potential issues and integrate possible solutions.

  • Serve as the team's technical subject matter expert and technical escalation resource

  • Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, plus 5 yrs. experience in listed knowledge requirements is preferred or 8 yrs. experience in listed knowledge requirements. Knowledge and troubleshooting on Sacmi, SITI, hydraulic presses for ceramic tile, Sacmi and other EVA and horizontal dryers, powder delivery systems, dies and punches. Primary Objective

Performs a variety of Sample Express duties, as well as, leads Sample Express Representatives in the performance of their duties.

Major Function and Scope

  • Leads Sample Express Warehouse Associates and Sample Express Specialists in the performance of their duties. Trains, coaches, and provides guidance to the team.

  • Executes Sample Express duties as needed (refer to duties in Sample Express Warehouse and Sample Express Specialist).

  • Operates forklift equipment.

  • Completes order management duties for customers and stocks orders.
