Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Warehouse Associate to join our TEAM! As the Warehouse Associate we need someone who will own a variety of material handling duties such as receiving, loading/unloading material, pull/assemble customers' orders and inventory checks. This position involves daily use of forklift equipment.

Primary Objective

  • Performs a variety of material handling duties associated with the warehouse.

Major Function and Scope

  • Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor product, maintain displays (tools, caulk, etc.), move, store, and replenish material, and conduct daily cycle counts.

  • Performs receiving duties such as receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, stock material, process customer returns and notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.

  • Operates forklift equipment.

  • Maintains clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom and general office maintenance, etc.

  • May wait on customers and prepare sales slips.

  • Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to Management.

  • Performs other related duties as required.

  • Experience and Knowledge Required

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience; Certified Forklift Operator

  • 3+ years previous warehouse experience preferred.

Competencies

  • Basic math skills, organization skills, customer service skills, fluency in English, detail oriented, and safety conscious.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Dal-Tile is seeking a dynamic Outside Sales Rep to increase market share. The Outside Sales Rep will increase account base by servicing existing customers and expand account base through cold calling.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts weekly sales calls - includes servicing existing customer as well as cold calling potential customers (average 4-5 cold calls per week).

  • Prepares weekly -Sales- and -Call- reports.

  • Develops monthly strategy for sales calls and prepares monthly travel calendar based on that strategy.

  • Conducts area market analysis of top accounts in each area - include top Dealers, top Contractors and top Builders.

  • Researches area market product data to determine the types, styles and sizes most commonly purchased in the area to determine sales strategy.

  • Grows market share by increasing sales and sales volume while maintaining company approved product margin goals.

  • Completes -Positive Action Forms- for all cold calls resulting in a display, rack and/or sale.

  • Utilizes influence and negotiation skills to sell and/or place displays in customer's showrooms.

  • Conducts client follow-ups via phone calls, letters and/or emails.

  • Establishes and maintains client files and performs timely follow up on programs and projects.

  • Provides PK seminars to customers.

  • Utilizes -On Demand- reporting to achieve sales objectives.

  • Performs other duties as required

Compensation :

  • Salary plus commission/bonus (based on experience in the field) and established company benefits.

  • All Commissions/bonuses will be based on achievement of the individual's sales goals and objectives on a quarterly basis.

  • Provides leadership and direction in the pursuit of store objectives with employees.

  • Communicates and works closely with customers to maximize market penetration and margin potential.

  • Advises customer on product selection, pricing and sales volume and continues to build customer relations.

  • Analyzes and controls expenditures of Stone Center to conform to budgetary requirements.

  • Analyzes sales reports showing sales volume, profit loss (EVA) and margins utilizing the -on Demand- reporting process.

  • Ensures prudent credit transactions and manages account collections.

  • Participates in the planning process by providing accurate, achievable sales forecasts.

  • Align achievements with corporate goals, standards, and objectives.

  • Communicates the safety program goals and expectations and ensures associates are professionally trained in the Safety program.

  • Trains, leads, and develops associates in areas of customer service, order management, purchasing, warehouse duties, office administration, truck management, and system processes.

  • Cross trains on all areas of Stone Center operations; customer service, warehouse, and office administration duties. Assists where necessary. Recruits, hires, and manages Stone Center staff associates. Includes daily support and direction, as well as on-going performance management and development.

  • Ensures compliance with Human Resource policies including hiring, firing, performance management, and DOT compliance.

  • Provides excellent understanding and training in the safe and proper way to load delivery trucks, operate lift trucks with booms and/or overhead cranes.

  • Performs other related duties as required.

Experience Required:

  • HS diploma and 5+ years relevant stone sales experience required OR

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field and 3+ years relevant sales/management experience in the stone business.

Competencies:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills. Analytical aptitude; time management and organizational skills. Proven training, teamwork, and leadership skills. Ability to -multi-task.- Demonstrated follow-up and follow-through skills. Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Primary Objective

Performs a variety of material handling duties associated with the warehouse.

  • Maintain accuracy and relevancy of Knowledge management database by making frequent updates and new submissions.

  • Develops an understanding of critical business systems / processes and the adverse business impact if these systems / processes are not available.

  • Uses best judgment to set Incident priority and invoke problem escalation procedures to coordinate recovery.

  • Resolves problems at 1 st level at least 75% of the time. Performs 2 nd level support on an as needed to balance workload across teams.

  • Uses the IT Service Management ticketing system to open and track requests, incidents and problems.

  • Provide customers with guidance in using security request system and provide status of current requests.

What you need to know:

  • Prefer to have a Bachelor's Degree in a technology or business related discipline, or

  • Associates Degree in a technology or business related discipline and at least 2 years related experience, or

  • At least 4 years of experience in end-user support with the Microsoft Windows environment.

  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) a plus.

  • Must have a technical knowledge of advanced PC diagnostics and strong familiarity with the Microsoft Windows platform and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Industry standard certifications (A+, ITIL v3 Foundations, HDI Analyst, Network+, MCP, CCNA, CCNP, etc) a plus

Primary Objective

Industrial Designer & Transfer Specialist is the primary person supervising the process and installations of the new ink jet machines. Working with international vendors and interacting with other experts of ink jet machines.

Experience and Knowledge Required

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design or equivalent. Knowledge of ceramic tile production, product development, and inkjet technology as applied to ceramic tile production.

Minimum of ten years of new product development as it relates to ceramic tile production. Experience with inkjet technology, and production problem solving is required.

Competencies

Must be knowledgeable of all areas of ceramic processing. Must be capable of coordinating multiple activates of numerous projects with tight deadlines. Must be very detail oriented, highly organized, and must be a self-starter. This individual must also be able to handle multiple tasks, be able to trouble shoot and have good communication skills. Must have strong proficiency with PC operating systems - Windows, MAC, and other based systems

What we're looking for:

  • Responsible for providing 2 nd level support for all PC related issues reported through the Support Center or directly from IS management. Troubleshoots hardware and software issues. Dispatches 3 rd party vendors for hardware repairs.

What you'll do:

  • Second level PC/Mac support for local & remote locations including hardware and software. Properly diagnose and resolve software and hardware configuration problems at the workstation level. Also includes PC/Mac software, hardware, and printer hardware installations in the PC/Mac environment.

  • Troubleshoot problems using desktop remote control products.

  • Use of the IT Service Management solution to track, update and close tickets.

  • Dispatch of 3 rd party vendor service technicians when appropriate.

  • Maintain and test latest hardware and software revisions and or patches (includes research of known hardware and software bugs).

  • Support special projects involving travel when the need arises.

  • Work closely with IS Management, Support Center personnel, and other IS technical and applications staff.

  • If working Projects & Systems Management, work small to large infrastructure projects completing them in a timely manner.

  • If working Desktop Support, complete at least 6 tickets per day resolving them by deadline at least 90% of the time.

What you need:

  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree in a technology or business related discipline or an Associate's Degree in a technology or business related discipline and at least 2 years related experience or at least 4 years related experience in end user support. Must have a technical knowledge of advanced PC diagnostics, strong familiarity with the Windows desktop, and possibly with Mac diagnostics.

  • At least 2 years of strong technical experience including providing PC support directly to the business client are required.

  • Must be familiar with the following technologies:

  • Troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 7 and greater

  • Troubleshooting Microsoft Office 2013 and greater

  • Understanding of Active Directory, DFS, and Group Policy

  • Experience with PC imaging software

  • Client based email configuration

Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Resource Planner to join our TEAM! The Resource Planner will respond to complex issues from various company departments, analyze customer demand & sales forecast, and evaluate and update data within the various planning systems.

Primary Objective

Manufactured Product Resource Planners determine which products to produce for daily/weekly schedules at manufacturing plants. Manage and coordinate this planning through review of forecast changes in actual demand and projected sales as well as impact of supply issues on inventory levels. Identifies and acts on critical areas by using various tools such as sales history reports and inventory comparisons.

Sourced Product Resource Planners work with suppliers (both domestic and international), RDCs and Sales to determine inventory levels in our distribution network. Responsible for accurate forecasting internally as well as external production scheduling to support inventory turns and minimize product availability issues.

Sales Service Center (SSC) Resource Planners work directly with stores within specific sales region to identify top-selling profile items and set inventory levels to maintain support for the store and Dal-Tile's inventory objectives.

Major Function and Scope

Resource Planner:

Addresses complex issues from suppliers, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, transportation, customer service, sales and marketing.

Analyzes customer demand, sales forecast, lead times, and safety stock data to determine weekly production schedules for each plant, weekly purchases for each supplier, and/or stocking profiles by item and location

Coordinates product transfer decisions between factories or between manufactured and sourced products.

Uses extensive knowledge of data, systems, and system interfaces to resolve complex problems or suggest supply chain solutions. Evaluates and updates the planning parameters and related data within the planning applications.

Serves as Supply Chain Planning representative at cross-functional meetings. (Home Centers Distribution, Transportation, Information Technology, and Fitness Team meetings)

Assists in the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process as well as annual capacity planning and budgeting process.

Provides guidance and training of team members.

Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required

Bachelor's degree required. Preferably in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, Business, Economics, Mathematics or related field.

Certified in Production Inventory Management (CPIM) designation preferred.

Experience and Knowledge Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred. Strong familiarity of Dal-Tile product lines, knowledge of Corporate product flow, manufacturing, sales and pricing structures.

Minimum of 2 years in Dealer/Residential Remodel Sales for Dal-Tile products recommended. Multiple market experience a plus. Experience working with Marketing Managers, Planners and Customer Service Personnel.

Competencies

Strong organizational skills and the ability to prepare and present concise reports in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

As the Warehouse Associate we need someone who will own a variety of material handling duties such as receiving, loading/unloading material, pull/assemble customers' orders and inventory checks. This position involves daily use of forklift equipment.

Primary Objective

Performs a variety of material handling duties associated with the warehouse.

Major Function and Scope

  • Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor product, maintain displays (tools, caulk, etc.), move, store, and replenish material, and conduct daily cycle counts.

  • Performs receiving duties such as receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, stock material, process customer returns and notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.

  • Operates forklift equipment.

  • Maintains clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom and general office maintenance, etc.

  • May wait on customers and prepare sales slips.

  • Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to Management.

  • Bending and Lifiting up to 80lbs

  • Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required

High School diploma or equivalent experience; Certified Forklift Operator

1+ years previous warehouse experience preferred.

Primary Objective

Works under general supervision of corporate manager/director, providing personal secretarial services and administrative assistance requiring exercise of discretion and judgment on occasion.

Major Function and Scope

Establishes, maintains and when necessary, revises supervisor's files.

Screens telephone calls and visitors, ascertaining who can be redirected to subordinate managers or other offices. Provides information to callers, requiring detailed knowledge of manager's area of responsibility and general knowledge of company policies, practices and operations.

Codes and sends invoices for payment.

Organizes department functions.

Coordinates and arranges meetings as well as prepares agendas. Arranges conference calls.

Opens and reviews all mail directed to manager/director. Composes responses to routine inquires and ascertains which items can be delegated to subordinate managers, and forwards appropriate items to manger/director.

Follows up on all assignments delegated to subordinate managers as to status, completion, etc.

Possibly delegates work to one or two clerical employees to assist with routine duties.

Keeps manager/director informed of work in progress and any problem areas.
