Team Overview:
The Commercial Marketing team is responsible for product management and marketing all aspects of commercial roofing system products. The team interacts with a multitude of departments including R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Creative, Digital, Finance, Sales, and numerous external vendors as well as customers. All members of the team are considered to be subject matter experts and have a strong cross functional knowledge of the entire product offering.
Summary:
We are seeking a Sr Product Manager to join our Commercial Marketing team and support the effort to manage our portfolio of Siplast insulation and cover boards. The marketing team is responsible for product and brand management. The group develops business to business marketing strategy and is heavily involved in hands-on general management and execution in the manufacturing industry. Siplast/GAF performance culture and relatively flat organization give tremendous opportunity to make a difference and deliver impact with a relatively high degree of autonomy in a lean and fast-paced environment. Insulation is a high growth area for Siplast and the Product Manager will be responsible for the day to day management of the category and implementing the strategy. The categories include insulation, cover boards, and lightweight insulated concrete.
Essential Duties:
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
New Product Development: work cross-functionally with R&D, Manufacturing, and Sales to identify and execute new product introductions. Multiple new product introductions expected on an annual basis.
Ability to position multiple technologies across the product offering
Be responsible for working with contractors, technical team, and training teams to qualify new products
Work with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to identify new application methods for products
Work closely with Sales and customers to evaluate opportunities to grow sales within the current product offering
Overseethedevelopmentandimplementationoftrainingmaterialsincludingvideos,brochures, presentations and web pages
Work with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Supply Chain to ensure there's steady supply of product while minimizing risk,
Maintain cross functional team alignment on strategic projects - R&D, Codes, Marketing, Purchasing, Innovation, MDM, Manufacturing, Sales

We are seeking a Sr Product Manager to join our Commercial Marketing team and support the effort to manage our portfolio of Siplast insulation and cover boards. The marketing team is responsible for product and brand management. The group develops business to business marketing strategy and is heavily involved in hands-on general management and execution in the manufacturing industry. Summary:
The Product Technician is responsible for operating the winder, grading the material, reclaiming all salvageable materials, & re-entering reclaimed materials into production, ensuring that all products are packaged & stacked in compliance with the Siplast Packaging Specification, & properly stored in the warehouse. The Product Technician reports to the Production Supervisor.
Essential Duties
Grading:
Winder operator - watches finished product as it comes off the machine, is wound on cores, & moves to the pallet for packaging
Grade material according to specifications
Obtain a sample every 100 rolls.
Contact the Lead QA Tech, or Production Supervisor regarding any questionable products
Complete winder reports
Packaging:
Properly install the correct product label, roll identification label on each roll of material, & properly stack roll on pallet
Insure that roll printer is working properly
Package each pallet in accordance with the SIPLAST manufacturing specifications.
Lubricate bagger & oven chains
Shut down bagger and oven at end of production runs
Remove bad & wide spec rolls from conveyor & stack on appropriate pallet.
Reenter wide spec material according to specifications
Keep cores, labels, pallets, shrink bags, banding, glue, & paper foil set up as needed
Forklift Operator:
Remove bagged pallets from the finishing area
Apply & Scan barcode of pallet
Place pallet on assigned rack
Complete daily forklift checklist for oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid, water & hydraulic fluid on department forklift & forward to Maintenance Supervisor
Complete Pallet Count report
Reclaiming:
Inspect questionable rolls
Remove substandard material from rolls
Splice good material together & wind on cores
Insert reclaimed rolls into pallets per company standards
Account for all waste material and seconds produced to ensure accurate daily production records
Complete Reclaiming reports
Record various product characteristics (roll length and width, selvage width, roll weight, thickness, mat placement, product appearance, etc.) on Q.A. Report for samples cut every 100 rolls.
Misc. :
Assist the Product Technicians during machine downtime (changeovers, material breaks, sticking, etc.)
Perform periodic thorough cleaning duties including tanks, sandpit, various machine, & outside areas, etc.
Keep area clean & orderly.
Serve on action teams & committees as needed.
Comply with the SIPLAST Quality System & its provisions.

Summary
This Maintenance Reliability Engineer is responsible for leading reliability improvements for assigned areas by focusing on improving uptime and reliability to meet business needs.
Essential Duties
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Implement risk management strategies to include predictive and preventive maintenance activities on critical mechanical and electrical systems (vibration analysis, lubrication oil analysis, motor circuit evaluation, corrosion monitoring, thermography, equipment laser alignment, etc.)
Ability to utilize FMEA on rotating equipment, piping systems, electrical systems, and instrumentation systems for failures and provide solutions to eliminate or extend the time between failures.
Conduct and or lead breakdown analysis investigations, perform various Root Cause failure analysis, such as Fishbone analysis and focused improvement activities, ensures follow up corrective actions are prioritized, completed, and shared with the broader GAF network.
Identify Precision Maintenance techniques which are critical for equipment reliability, and collaborate with Maintenance Supervision to ensure compliance.
Work closely with project engineers and or plant personnel to establish and enhance design standards that minimize life cycle costs and support high reliability
Remove process bottlenecks while utilizing continuous improvement techniques to drive changes required to remove obstructions and limit downtime.
Systematically review and update Preventative Work Instructions to effectively mitigate known failure modes on critical equipment. Update PM and PdM Strategies based on FMEA and RCFA findings after breakdowns occur.
Review engineering specifications and drawings, propose design modifications to improve reliability within cost and business requirements

Team or Function Overview
The Field Services team supports and partners with internal and external stakeholders to provide best in class installation and services of our commercial and residential roofing products. This team supports the entire GAF product line for commercial and residential with additional support for Siplast, GAF Energy and other Standard Industries businesses as needed. This position will be based in Seattle, WA Metro Area but will support the entire Western area to include Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, and Washington; and reports to the Area Director Field Services or Regional Manager Field Services as applicable.
Summary
The Field Services Representative performs the day to day services within their assigned area/region. Responsibilities in this position include performing and completing roof inspections, performing specialized tasks to resolve problems, and providing weekly activity reports within the region. He/she is responsible for prioritizing, scheduling and performing warranty, guarantee and complaint inspections within the area of assigned responsibility without direct supervision. The Field Service Representative will obtain a drone certification within the first 6 months.

SUMMARY
The Director HR Operations is responsible for Human Resources strategy and service delivery for an operations business unit within GAF. As the leader of the HR function, the Director HR Operations will focus on driving a best-in-class talent strategy and partnering with the business to drive innovation and cutting-edge manufacturing strategies. The Director HR Operations will act as the key strategic business partner to drive enterprise priorities and innovation from a human capital standpoint for a region of manufacturing facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Leads a team of HR Business Partners across a business unit supporting manufacturing and operations functions.
Supports transformational efforts and strategic initiatives for the business unit to include growth strategy, harmonization efforts and shared/deployed services.
Serves as a change agent to the business unit working closely in partnership with senior leader
Responsible for management of the HR budget for BU (forward-looking).
Conducts periodic talent reviews with business leaders to establish development plans and succession planning.
Directly responsible for planning and management of the business unit headcount to include organization design and structure.
Supports analysis of and management of direct and indirect labor costs.
Provides expert advisory services to management on a wide variety of human resources functional areas including talent strategies.
Develops and is a key partner in driving employee performance, culture and engagement.
Provides technical advice and assistance to the business unit related to performance, talent programs, training, and development.
Assists in developing human resources operational procedures and providing advice and recommendations to the business unit management and employees.
Leads the human capital component of providing multi-faceted solutions to complex business problems.
Develops and conducts training in coordination with multiple stakeholders on a variety of developmental topics.
Provides HR Business Partners (HRBPs), business leaders, and employees with interpretations of employee procedures, practices, policies, and guidelines when the issues involved are new, highly controversial, precedent-setting, and/or involve multi-faceted business complexities.
Uses surveys, interviews, and other studies to conduct research regarding human resources policies, compensation, and other employment issues. After analyzing the information, provide recommendations on progressive implementations.
Collaborates with the corporate legal team/employee relations/labor relations and liaises on employment law topics and company policies to managers, supervisors, and employees.
Researches and reviews documentation for alternative approaches to resolving problems.
Leads talent programs in terms of development and constant evolution in concept: LDP's, rotational programs, co-op, internships, development initiatives for a business unit.
Provides information to management and employees on rights and obligations. Respect confidential information provided by managers, supervisors, union officials, or employees. Develops cases taking into account the relevant laws, policies, and risk mitigation.
Advises leadership on (in coordination with stakeholders) procedures, practices, policies, and guidelines including when the issues involved are new, complex, highly controversial, and precedent-setting.
Aligns human capital strategy with that of forward-thinking and innovative business drivers. Analyzes information and data necessary to define and discern cost and policy implications of negotiations and disputes. Including pay scales and wages, benefits, working conditions, policies, protocols, procedures, and other mitigating circumstances.
Provides advice on the development of forward thinking employee value proposition efforts. Aligns the same with cost objectives for the business.
Recommends and interprets guidance to clarify issues, resolve conflicting guidance, and/or alleviate other potential or existing problems, such as those pertaining to adverse actions.
Serves as a technical expert on procedural compliance and risk mitigation.
Develops solutions for extremely complicated, complex, or non-standard problems having the potential to impact numerous employees or major business impacts.
