SUMMARY
The Director HR Operations is responsible for Human Resources strategy and service delivery for an operations business unit within GAF. As the leader of the HR function, the Director HR Operations will focus on driving a best-in-class talent strategy and partnering with the business to drive innovation and cutting-edge manufacturing strategies. The Director HR Operations will act as the key strategic business partner to drive enterprise priorities and innovation from a human capital standpoint for a region of manufacturing facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Leads a team of HR Business Partners across a business unit supporting manufacturing and operations functions.
Supports transformational efforts and strategic initiatives for the business unit to include growth strategy, harmonization efforts and shared/deployed services.
Serves as a change agent to the business unit working closely in partnership with senior leader
Responsible for management of the HR budget for BU (forward-looking).
Conducts periodic talent reviews with business leaders to establish development plans and succession planning.
Directly responsible for planning and management of the business unit headcount to include organization design and structure.
Supports analysis of and management of direct and indirect labor costs.
Provides expert advisory services to management on a wide variety of human resources functional areas including talent strategies.
Develops and is a key partner in driving employee performance, culture and engagement.
Provides technical advice and assistance to the business unit related to performance, talent programs, training, and development.
Assists in developing human resources operational procedures and providing advice and recommendations to the business unit management and employees.
Leads the human capital component of providing multi-faceted solutions to complex business problems.
Develops and conducts training in coordination with multiple stakeholders on a variety of developmental topics.
Provides HR Business Partners (HRBPs), business leaders, and employees with interpretations of employee procedures, practices, policies, and guidelines when the issues involved are new, highly controversial, precedent-setting, and/or involve multi-faceted business complexities.
Uses surveys, interviews, and other studies to conduct research regarding human resources policies, compensation, and other employment issues. After analyzing the information, provide recommendations on progressive implementations.
Collaborates with the corporate legal team/employee relations/labor relations and liaises on employment law topics and company policies to managers, supervisors, and employees.
Researches and reviews documentation for alternative approaches to resolving problems.
Leads talent programs in terms of development and constant evolution in concept: LDP's, rotational programs, co-op, internships, development initiatives for a business unit.
Provides information to management and employees on rights and obligations. Respect confidential information provided by managers, supervisors, union officials, or employees. Develops cases taking into account the relevant laws, policies, and risk mitigation.
Advises leadership on (in coordination with stakeholders) procedures, practices, policies, and guidelines including when the issues involved are new, complex, highly controversial, and precedent-setting.
Aligns human capital strategy with that of forward-thinking and innovative business drivers. Analyzes information and data necessary to define and discern cost and policy implications of negotiations and disputes. Including pay scales and wages, benefits, working conditions, policies, protocols, procedures, and other mitigating circumstances.
Provides advice on the development of forward thinking employee value proposition efforts. Aligns the same with cost objectives for the business.
Recommends and interprets guidance to clarify issues, resolve conflicting guidance, and/or alleviate other potential or existing problems, such as those pertaining to adverse actions.
Serves as a technical expert on procedural compliance and risk mitigation.
Develops solutions for extremely complicated, complex, or non-standard problems having the potential to impact numerous employees or major business impacts.
Determines strategies through interpretation of labor agreements, laws, regulations, rules, and policies.
Researches and implements cutting-edge technologies, practices, and programs to drive aggressive talent strategies to attract, develop and retain top talent.
Drives OFCCP compliance, AAP process, and implements strategy around goals.
Leads employee life cycle strategy across a geographic region of manufacturing facilities.
Develops and drives value-added initiatives that provide measurable results and ROI to the business.
Actively pursues opportunities to develop niche skill sets in a constantly changing business environment to drive human capital strategies and business solutions.
Manages all aspects of workforce planning, utilizes predictive analytics and insights to inform the approach.
Provides strategic leadership coaching to functional heads and leadership teams.
Works on or leads various project teams
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Under this Roof we require:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
10+ years demonstrated HR/employee relations experience working within a manufacturing environment
Excellent business and data acumen, along with project management experience
Strong labor relations experience including negotiating union contracts, grievances, and arbitrations.

Summary
We are looking for a Plant Manager who will be responsible for leading and developing staff, driving a safe and reliable work environment, and achieving annual and long term operational, financial and infrastructure objectives on site and the glass-mat network. The role will report to the Senior Director of Vertical Operations and will work in a matrixed environment to meet all the objectives. The Plant Manager establishes and directs all technical and administrative functions in the plant, including manufacturing, engineering, logistics, information systems, purchasing, and materials management, and partners with shared services organizations such as human resources and accounting.

Summary
The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for safely completing a wide range of tasks under the direction of the Maintenance Manager and must be proficient in mechanical and electrical Maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
Responsible for assigned preventative maintenance work orders and repairs to electrical systems and mechanical equipment in the plant. Daily requirements will include skills such as fabricating, welding, machining, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.The Maintenance Electrician supports the production of high quality roofing products, with a sense of urgency and accountability for equipment uptime. This employee thrives in environments where safety, quality, service and cost are the highest priorities and is able to make recommendations to improve the overall performance of plant equipment.
Essential Duties
Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot industrial equipment, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems with minimal supervision
Complete assigned preventative maintenance work orders on facilities, electrical systems, mechanical systems, equipment, and components
Install and/or replace new or reconditioned parts as needed
Work safely and assume responsibility for safety of self and others
Follow all safety rules and policies including LOTO, maintenance work permits, PPE, JSAs and JSOs
Ensure that excellent housekeeping is maintained and enhanced during the performance of all tasks
Dismantle and make necessary repairs to such equipment as pumps, motors, chains, sprockets, bearing couple alignment, and other components

Diagnose actual and potential problems, make necessary repairs, and test new and repaired machinery

Team or Function Overview
The Maintenance department plays an incredible role in keeping the operating systems functioning.
Summary
The Storeroom Coordinator I is responsible for administering store materials for Maintenance and other departments. Responsible for assisting in the determination of inventory levels; minimum/maximum quantities; and the requisitioning, storage, issuance and control of materials. The incumbent is accountable for the best use of all the resources under their control.
Essential Duties
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Will receive, store and oversee inventory control of Maintenance Department material, equipment, merchandise and supplies.
Provides for the inspection of incoming maintenance material against purchase orders. Inspection to include the specification for correctness, identify apparent defects, and arrange for return of defective material.
Each day accurately enter into the computer all purchase order receipts. Plan and coordinate the transfer of material from the receiving area to the Maintenance Storeroom area as well as transfer the items received for other departments and maintain proper records.
Participate in periodic and special storeroom inventories, inventory physical counts, and reconcile computer systems for proper quantity on hand.
Ensure that a secure area is maintained for all maintenance and plant use of parts.
Ensure that adequate planning takes place with the Maintenance Coordinator to minimize parts ordering and expediting on an emergency basis. Maintain working communications regarding MWO parts status. Ensure the storeroom promptly processes all requisitions for parts and supplies.
Ensure that a safe workplace is maintained at all times. Ensure that all safety rules are followed.
Ensure that the computer system is updated as to parts/assemblies, locations and usage levels.

Summary
The Sr HR Business Partner (Sr HRBP) will influence and lead the development and implementation of HR programs and processes for the Minneapolis, MN, Savannah, GA and Tampa, FL plant locations. The SR HRBP will be primarily located in Savannah, GA with travel to Tampa and Minneapolis. You will partner with leaders to identify and drive innovative solutions for Organizational and HR initiatives across the network. Act as a liaison between the operations and HR to ensure HR services are aligned with the needs of the business and identify new opportunities where HR can add value to the business. Manage specific projects as determined in the annual HR plan and participate in functional and cross-functional initiatives. Participate in HR project teams and programs.
20% - Execution and understanding of business goals to facilitate the design & implementation of new approaches, policies and procedures that affect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of the HR function within the company.
20% - Responsible for continued development of HR Business Partners, Sr HR Partners, and HR Partners throughout the HR Operations organization.
10% - Ensure consistent application of all corporate and plant policies, collective bargaining agreements and/or plant practices. Communicate HR programs and policies to plant staff and address all related questions. Conduct investigations of potential violations of company policies.
10% - Provide expert advice and coaching where appropriate. Ensure that strong leadership and coaching culture permeates the organization. Identify and resolve employee issues through regular contact with all employees.
10% - Partner with the business leader(s) to provide employees with development opportunities and ensure current and future performance standards are met. Champion the Talent Management Process and ensure timely, accurate and fair assessments of employee performance are conducted per the corporate guidelines. Team or Function Overview
This position will be on the Mt. Vernon, Indiana plant operations team, located about 20 miles west of Evansville. This GAF site was founded in 1973 and produces a wide variety of asphaltic shingles and rolled roofing materials.
Summary
The Senior Maintenance Specialist will develop detailed job plans including the labor (type and quantity), materials, tools, and work procedures for repairs, alterations, and preventative maintenance for the facility and all types of equipment. The position is responsible for the short and long term scheduling of all maintenance activities. The position balances priorities, manpower, material, and equipment availability to develop department and individual work schedules.

Prepare daily work schedules for the Maintenance Supervisor, and up to 15 - 30 Maintenance Technicians. Lead the scheduling of down day and non-down day maintenance work.

Summary
The Shipping and Receiving Assistant performs various duties to help ensure that incoming parts and materials meet the need for manufacturing products. The Shipping and Receiving Assistant works in Burgaw, NC and partners with the Logistics team to provide support to the warehouse and our customers.

Team or Function Overview
Siplast, a brand of GAF Commercial, offers a uniquely segmented and dedicated portfolio of building enclosure solutions for the commercial construction market. The Territory Manager is part of our dedicated Siplast team. This position is remote and generally requires the establishment of, and operation from, an in-home office and requires travel of 60-80% to various customers, events and offsite meetings. Summary
The Territory Manager, Siplast is responsible for the promotion and sales of Siplast products and all aspects of general administration within his/her assigned territory. This position is primarily responsible for the southern California area and reports directly to the Regional Sales Director.
Essential Duties
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Sell Siplast products through specification selling to major owners, architects, roofing consultants, and roofing contractors including identification of prospective jobs and decision making individual, timely contact, and effective follow-up. Also includes proper use of sales and promotional tools provided by the company and development of additional tools, such as local job photos, testimonials, references, etc.
Assist with the development and maintenance of a quality select roofing contractor and lightweight contractor program, based on knowledge of contractor business, general market knowledge, and active involvement in local trade organizations and activities. This includes the management of the contractor base including regular business review meetings, training of contractor crews and monitoring of Siplast applications.
Provide technical services including development and/or review of roofing specifications for prospective jobs, participation in pre-job meetings (when required), conduct periodic job/rooftop inspections (when required), and basic troubleshooting. Work closely with local field technical representatives in prioritizing and managing technical needs of his/her territory.
Develop, monitor and manage Sales budget including forecasting, sales and related business expenses ensuring that all territory expenses are within defined limits, and policies followed.
Complete all required administrative and electronic reports to include itinerary, expense reports, prospect lists, job quotes, shipping forecasts, call reports, activity reports, guarantee forms, factory warehouse inventory reports per established guidelines and time frames.
Administer pricing guidelines to include maximizing price on each job, proper and timely documentation for pricing, and responsible determination for required pricing deviations, based upon job size, competitive threat, specification rigidity, etc.
Assist the Credit Manager in maintaining all accounts in a "current" or "acceptable" status.
