SUMMARY

The Director of Asset Management is a Salaried Full Time position reporting to the Senior Director of Fleet Operations whose primary function will be to direct all asset and maintenance activities and staff throughout Standard Logistics' locations across North America. The ideal candidate will possess signicant operational experience and knowledge in managing eet operations to include: equipment procurement, leasing, maintenance, budgeting (operational and capital), eet operations, capital planning and eet safety.

This position is accountable for managing and leading all aspects of asset management and maintenance operations at all Standard Logistics' terminal operations. They are also accountable for setting and achieving a nancial budget, strategic project execution (eet growth) regulatory compliance, and utilization metrics. The Director of Asset Management will create a culture of teamwork, adding value through excellent service to all customers internal and external.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Focus on safe operations and new technology available to drive a safer environment for our drivers.. Drive the safety culture with direct and indirect teams. Completes required reporting (internal/OSHA) and participates in investigations for all accidents or injuries involving trucks or trailers. Work with the Director of Safety to identify risks, mitigate risks and develop a training plan for eet operations.

  • Own Standard Logistics' equipment lifecycle to include working with nance, operations and management on total cost of ownership. Effectively manages end of life disposal of assets including agreements with third parties.

  • Manage an annual budget for maintenance operations, leases/rentals and capital expenditures.

  • Manage all vehicle regulatory requirements to include: registration, titling, permitting, MC/DOT registrations, IFTA, and any other required regulatory lings.

  • Evaluate team and operational performance, establish key performance indicators (KPI's), publish/report on KPI's and implement action plans to drive increased return on invested capital, performance, reliability and productivity.

  • Build and lead a maintenance organization and program as we transition from a primarily full service lease to a hybrid (majority owned) eet.

  • Lead the asset utilization drive and work with the eet operations team to increase, move or dispose of underutilized assets.

  • Perform any other duties assigned

WE REQUIRE

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Supply Chain/Logistics management or other related eld from an accredited college or university or 10+ years of experience in asset lifecycle, maintenance management and asset utilization leadership

  • 7+ years experience in class 8 asset management

  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance management

  • Ability to travel at least 30%

Summary

  • Identify site-specific circumstances requiring changes to the EHS management system, and enable the successful implementation and sustainability at a local level.

  • UtilizingtheEHSEnterpriseSystem(Gensuite-EHS)-recordandanalyzeaccidentand incidentrecordsandmakerecommendationsregardingcorrectiveactions, emphasizing pro-active intervention.

GAF is seeking a high-energy sales professional with a track record of building successful relationships and closing new business. This role facilitates the sale and flow of GAF products through big box home improvement retail accounts working closely with contractors to educate/promote GAF products that help them build their business. As a Retail Sales Rep, you will act as a consultant between GAF, the stores, and contractors.

Essential Duties Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Train individuals or small groups with emphasis on general product knowledge, application techniques, and best practices.

  • Provide feedback on market conditions, monitor, inventory levels, and provide training to retail associates

  • DevelopandmaintaincloseworkingrelationshipswiththeRetailSalesService Manager, Pro Retail Specialist, GAF Territory Sales Managers, Big Box home improvement retail management teams, inside and outside pro associates, merchandising teams, and store associates.

  • Build and manage a book of contractors from prospecting and cold calling through to the consultation phase, building lasting and meaningful relationships. Expect to juggle competing priorities and store requests/deadlines regularly.

  • Own, progress, and close the sales funnel, turning potential Contractor opportunities into wins, through value-selling the benefits of GAF products. Overcome objections and convert hurdles into growth opportunities, while selling the GAF value proposition.

  • Work with Retail Outside selling teams to establish trust and support as the expert in roofing when working with them or their customers on large projects

  • Display strong negotiating tactics by leveraging value propositions and GAF System

Selling

  • Compile reporting to highlight hits, misses, learning, competitive landscape, and strategic next steps; proactively identify opportunities to exceed expectations and position our clients as leaders in their space.

  • Influence your contractors constantly networking to become a trusted advisor to existing and potential customers. Navigate when to defer to a client's request vs. when to guide a client to make better choices. Thrive on expert problem solving, determining solutions that execute favorable results. Engage and educate customers with insight and product knowledge via Retail store/contractor meetings.

Summary:

The EHS Specialist function utilizes the existing procedures and their acquired knowledge to provide EHS technical support to the Plant through coordination of EHS activities and programs. This role supports the implementation, execution, and maintenance of the environmental, health, and safety systems for the plant. As the Senior EHS Specialist, you will work collaboratively with the Corporate EHS team, Plant Management, Production, Maintenance, and Engineering team members and focus on various projects and initiatives within these teams. This position will provide support to EHS Specialists within the network. This position will report directly to the Director of EHS.

Essential Duties:

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Guide Environmental, Health, and Safety activities at one or more locations.

  • Practice safe working techniques and reinforce the safety policies, guidelines, and procedures as set out by the Company.

  • Monitor site-specific EHS leading and lagging indicators.

  • Support the execution of strategic initiatives within the plants.

  • Lead incident investigations, development of corrective actions, and communicate lessons learned in a timely, effective, and thorough manner.

  • Review accidents and incidents, conduct audits and reporting; oversee EHS corrective actions.

  • Ensure the plant is current on all relevant Environmental, Health and Safety documents in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

  • Lead environmental compliance efforts and monitor permit requirements.

  • Identify training programs to meet plant needs, track training progress, and onboarding plant employees with environmental responsibilities.

  • Act as EHS Subject Matter Expert, responding to questions from plants and other stakeholders.

  • Coordinate with Plant Manager, Production, Maintenance, and Engineering Departments on facility deficiencies through site audits and inspections.

  • Conduct audits to monitor personnel and workspace improvements.

  • Drive and guide the on-site EHS support that leads the plant's EHS management system through proactive engagement with the location EHS program champions to execute EHS policies and ensure compliance.

  • Ensure that Corporate EHS Applications are embedded in the operation and that these management practices drive the appropriate behavior.

  • Identify site-specific circumstances requiring changes to the EHS management system, and enable the successful implementation and sustainability at a local level.

  • UtilizingtheEHSEnterpriseSystem(Gensuite-EHS)-recordandanalyzeaccidentand incidentrecordsandmakerecommendationsregardingcorrectiveactions, emphasizing pro-active intervention.

  • Ensure the findings of accident investigations, safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments are brought to the attention of leadership and others who may be affected.

  • Use data to make recommendations on changes to training programs, SOPs, JSAs, and tools to prevent accidents, and educate and protect employees.

  • Work with Human Resources on Workers' Compensation cases, ensuring they are in line with company policy.

  • Coordinate with appropriate industry-related vendors and SMEs, related to the EHS needs of the organization.

  • Support sustainability operations assessments within the plant.

  • Support plant leadership on capital project planning to align sustainability efforts with capital and engineering projects.

  • Conduct hazard and operability studies on existing and new processes.

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Chemical or Environmental Engineering or a related field preferred.

Essential Duties

  • Wears specified personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times: hard hat, ear plugs, safety glasses, safety shoes, and protective gloves. Required to be actively involved in following and promoting safe work practices. Reports all accidents, incidents, near misses, and injuries immediately to a supervisor.
