Team Overview:
A specialized category of training within GAF's Center for the Advancement of Roofing Excellence (CARE), Storm Restoration training focuses on educating contractors working insurance claims. A CARE Training Manager works with Marketing, Sales, and other CARE trainers to provide both training and insight on Storm Restoration and the property insurance industry.
Summary:
A Senior Storm Restoration CARE Trainer will drive world class learning & development initiatives for both internal talent and GAF's external customers. The overall focus is leading both in person and virtual CARE training events including facilitation of training provided by third party training partners. A CARE Trainer is responsible for presentation development and curriculum development focused on Storm Restoration and Insurance claims.
Essential Duties:
Develop and deliver storm restoration training curriculum to external customers, sales staff, and other trainers
Provide insurance industry expertise and input across the organization to help shape storm restoration focused products, services, and training programs
Work cross-functionally to define and measure the impact of technical training and process improvements across the organization
Contentcurator-worksasaliaisonacrossoutsidetrainingpartnerstoidentifylearning opportunities and to onboard new training initiatives and partners.
Storm Restoration Training compliance - ensure all storm restoration training is current and in compliance with GAF's goals and objectives.
Capability lead of training resources for storm restoration, such as Xactimate, Symbility, state specific insurance guidelines, and building codes
Maintain industry certifications and licenses
Under This Roof, We Require
Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, architecture, construction project management, computer science, education, or other related field
Minimum of 8 yrs applicable experience in property claims adjusting or storm restoration industry
Verisk Estimating Solutions Experience (Xactimate)
Deep technical knowledge of roofing, insurance claims, and estimating
Outstanding verbal and written interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence others, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Operates effectively in an ambiguous environment and has a demonstrated track record of managing multiple projects and driving them to completion.
Musthavetheabilitytocommunicateandpresentinfrontoflargegroups.
Willingness to work alone and be unsupervised.
Operates from a remote office, without daily direct supervision, self-schedules and self-motivated.

A Senior Storm Restoration CARE Trainer will drive world class learning & development initiatives for both internal talent and GAF's external customers. The overall focus is leading both in person and virtual CARE training events including facilitation of training provided by third party training partners. A CARE Trainer is responsible for presentation development and curriculum development focused on Storm Restoration and Insurance claims.

A Senior Storm Restoration CARE Trainer will drive world class learning & development initiatives for both internal talent and GAF's external customers. The overall focus is leading both in person and virtual CARE training events including facilitation of training provided by third party training partners. A CARE Trainer is responsible for presentation development and curriculum development focused on Storm Restoration and Insurance claims.

Summary
The primary responsibility of Savannah's Maintenance Team Electrician is to safely evaluate, repair, install, connect, test, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems to meet required specifications and comply with applicable codes and plant standards.
Essential Duties
Ability to configure, program, and install VFDs and Servo control systems. (PowerFlex, Kinetix).
Ability to identify, configure, and install process control equipment such as level transmitters, flow transmitters, and temperature controllers.
Able to use PLC ladder logic to troubleshoot and determine equipment issues and make program changes or adjustments as necessary.
Basic understanding of production servers and network architecture.
Design, draw, and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Experience with the design, installation, configuration, and programming of PLCs, Allen Bradley ControlLogix processors series.
Thorough understanding of typical manufacturing facilities' electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems and equipment.
Identify digital and analog devices necessary to achieve desired control circuit requirements.

Summary
The Plant Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for working and managing the Plant Maintenance Department, preventive maintenance, machine modifications, and general ground maintenance, as well as reviewing information and making strategic decisions to improve machine uptime, and reduce expenses, downtime, and overtime. This position reports to the Production Manager.
Essential Duties
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Employee management of the Plant Maintenance Department personnel consisting of:
Interviewing, hiring, and training new employees in compliance with company guidelines, and federal and state governmental laws and regulations.
Providing timely performance coaching and counseling in the form of daily verbal feedback, annual written performance evaluations, frequent positive encouragement and recognition, and documented disciplinary actions, as necessary.
Managing employee vacation/time-off requests to ensure employees' compliance with company guidelines, and adequate departmental coverage.
Identifying employees' training/developmental needs and ensuring the accomplishment of these training objectives.
Scheduling employees' working hours to provide machine coverage and downtime maintenance repairs with a minimum amount of overtime.
Maintain accuracy of timekeeping/payroll system daily, and approve before payroll run.
Maintenance Department responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems.
Evaluate and modify PLC programs and touch screens as needed.
Provide internal maintenance training or coordinate external training with HR as needed.
Maintain a sufficient supply of spare machine parts and maintenance supplies.
Assist Maintenance employees when needed.
Continually update preventive maintenance schedule, and ensure timely completion.
Continually seek ways of modifying machines to improve efficiency or product quality.
Inspect the plant and grounds on a routine basis for potential hazards or OSHA violations and schedule necessary corrections.
Participate in Maintenance/Production meetings.
Participate in plant environmental/safety inspections.
Ensure that all Maintenance areas are maintained in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
Strategic Planning and Direction:
Obtain and review statistical information regarding machine performance and identify areas to improve uptime.
Evaluate and report on work orders to prioritize and ensure timely completion, working closely with production, lab, and resin facility.
Review time and labor data to streamline maintenance operations wherever possible, and reduce overtime.
Proactively identify and implement ideas for improving relationships between maintenance, production, and the lab at both plant facilities (rolled roofing plant and liquid resin facility) working to create a cohesive working environment.

Comply with all safety regulations and policies
Utilize all prescribed PPE (personal protective equipment), at all times in designated areas (such as safety glasses, welding hoods, gloves, cutting goggles, respirators, shoes, vests, etc.)

Comply with all environmental regulations
Ensure the maintenance team is following all environmental regulations in the performance of duties, and properly disposing of waste and used parts, etc.
Coordinate with Compliance Tech in the assignment and implementation of approved safety and/or environmental improvements or repairs (equipment, facility, etc.)

Provide backup assistance to maintenance personnel, as needed.
Comply with the SIPLAST Quality System and its provisions.

We are looking for a Project Engineer who will be responsible for maintaining excellence in developing, executing and controlling assigned projects to achieve plant goals. Through expert application of engineering techniques and principles, the incumbent will conduct analyses and investigations pertaining to construction and enhancements for existing facilities to optimize productive capability of the plant.
We encourage the Project Engineer to make sound recommendations, considering such factors as cost, maintainability, facility of production and availability of materials and equipment with emphasis on safety and optimum performance. Essential Duties
Proactively identify engineering problems, safety opportunities, and OEE improvements and apply technical expertise to develop and present feasible solutions.
Take ownership for an engineering/efficiency project from conception to completion with little supervision, applying all areas of engineering expertise to obtain a workable solution.
Partner with the maintenance and production teams to identify operational or maintenance problems. Once the problem is recognized, conduct the engineering analysis and follow through with major and minor project recommendations.
Coordinate with the contractor and Company representatives to seamlessly complete engineering projects as efficiently as possible without causing production delays.
Develop detailed justifications for capital expenditures and communicate them both verbally and in writing at multiple levels within the organization.
