Job Description

The Order Processor 2 position is a highly physical role that moves product in and around the warehouse safely and efficiently, mostly without the use of various picking/lifting machines.

  • Load and unload trucks, order, pick, return and stage all materials required/scheduled for the operation.

  • Look for damaged product/boxes and follow damaged product/box procedures.

  • Enter/verify necessary inventory information using RF (Radio Frequency) device.

  • Remove empty skids from the warehouse.

  • Perform proper paperwork for bill of lading, UPS, FedEx, or other outside carriers as required.

  • Unstack material as required by the operation.

Qualifications

Minimum High School diploma or GED Certificate required.

Requires basic math and reading skills.

The title of this job is misleading; this is a very physical role that requires the ability to lift at least 25 pounds and will involve repetitive lifting and turning for the entire shift. It will require both upper body and lower body strength.

Additional Information

  • Works in a warehouse environment where there may be some variance in temperature, noise level, etc.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for learning the overall operations of a retail store under the direction of a Store Manager/Head Coach or District Manager. Gains knowledge and competency in financial processes required to manage a retail store.

Under guidance from supervisors has gained full proficiency in managerial responsibilities within 90-day timeframe. Available and willing to take SM responsibilities within local market (30 miles/30 minutes) if/when offered.

  • Facilitates an exceptional customer service experience through all channels of interaction by following GNC's prescribed selling methods; meets or exceeds all corporate set goals, expectation, and key performance indicators

  • Drives GNC's loyalty programs and incentives for successful engagement of customers

  • Monitors best sellers, identifies product demand, and updates SM regarding trends

  • Facilitates community engagement and client loyalty through innovative and creative outreach

  • Reads all merchandising bulletins to understand product assortment and answer product questions based on Company approved information

  • Supervises and leads store team under SM guidance; communicates sales targets and drives team performance; provides feedback and supports succession planning of high performers by communicating team performance to SM

  • Reviews all training resources and complete assigned modules to understand product assortment and answer product questions based on Company approved information

  • Ensures company assets are protected and not exposed to risks and conflicts of interest

Responsible for establishing a strong customer service/selling culture in all assigned stores. Accountable for overall operations, staffing and merchandising of retail stores. Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required

  • Advanced degree (MBA, Master's) preferred

  • 8+ years progressive retail experience required

  • 5+ years in a leadership role (direct or indirect)

  • Prior managerial/supervisory experience preferred

  • High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications

  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills

GNC is looking for dynamic sales associates that not only 'Live Well' as a lifestyle, but have the desire to share that passion with others. What are we looking for?

  • A Sales Associate who enjoys interacting with customers and is committed to helping them choose the right products, as well as making recommendations based on your overall product knowledge and understanding of their needs

  • The ability for you to generate sales, not only for the benefit to the company and your store, but for you and your financial well-being.

  • The drive to achieve and exceed personal sales and productivity goals

  • Promote career growth by working with store management in the opening, closing and operating of a retail store. This includes cash handling, inventory count and deposits according to GNC procedures, as well as maintaining the appearance of the store

  • The ability to complete omni-channel orders timely and accurately in compliance with company guidelines.

  • Display an awareness of all store communications including: product information, advertising, promotions and other marketing initiatives

  • Boost product knowledge by learning the features, advantages and benefits. Staying on top of nutritional, wellness

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Passion to Live Well!

  • Self-motivated

  • Strong communication and team building skills

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (i.e. Holidays, weekends)

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
