Responsibilities

The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Therapist. The PCA performs various personal care services, as necessary, to meet the patient's needs. The HHA provides service in accordance with Maxim's philosophy, standards and policies.

• Observes and documents patient condition and reports any changes, to the assigned nurse supervisor.
