A Day in the Life

Provide technical, clinical and sales support, in collaboration with the sales team, within the region or assigned territory in support of the launch and adoption of the EP mapping and navigation system (Affera) and all products within the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) business. Collaborates with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to develop and execute on short-and long-term strategies, including the growth of the mapping and navigation system. Overall technical, clinical and educational support for the assigned territory.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and all CAS products.

• Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to CAS products and related procedures.

• Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures.

• Understand and support national, regional and territory sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals within all CAS products.

• Develop and cultivate customer relationships resulting in incremental business.

• Work in partnership with Account Manager, Regional Manager and Area Directors to identify potential sales opportunities.

• Collaborate and strategize with local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and other CA Solutions products.

• Collaborate and communicate with the sales and clinical teams in the region.

• Serves as an effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic CAS products, service and support.

• Serve as a regional champion to share your experience and influence others to be proficient in the mapping technology.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma PLUS a minimum of 8 years of work experience incardiac mapping and navigation. OR

• Associate degree PLUS a minimum of 6 years of work experience incardiac mapping and navigation. OR

• Bachelor degree PLUS a minimum of 4 years of work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.

Preferred Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. Degree in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or technical discipline with minimum of four years work experience in cardiac field, hospital/clinic or sales.

• Proven track record with technical training assignments.

• Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, in a hospital/clinic or EP medical sales providing technical / clinical support.

• Ability to travel more than 25% of the time

• Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy. In addition, your driving record will be reviewed and will be considered as part of your application

• Ability to freely move throughout the facility, use a phone, keyboard and mouse, visually able to interact with personal computers

• Must be able to stand/sit/walk for 8 hours a day

• Must have a valid driver's license

• Ability to travel up to 25%

A Day in the Life

As the Production Group Lead at our Grand Rapids, MI site, you'll oversee all aspects of production, from equipment testing to assembly, ensuring seamless operations and adherence to quality and safety standards. Your role involves prioritizing operator allocation, facilitating communication between teams and supervisors, and mentoring staff to enhance production and problem-solving skills. Join us in this transformative journey, where your contributions truly make a difference.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Leads production team work process, equipment testing, manufacturing, disassembly, and reassembly as assigned by supervisor.

• Prioritizes use of operators according to build schedule.

• Communicates process issues and provides status updates to team supervisor.

• Coaches operators/assemblers on production and problem solving skills, performing technical review and machinery setup/breakdown as needed.

• Ensures Medtronic company quality and safety standards are upheld.

Requires minimum of 8 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.

May require vocational training and/or certification.

Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

Plan, direct, and lead all sales and sales training activities. Develop and implement a business strategy for the revenue and profitability for specified area. In addition, the Sr. Vascular District Manager will be responsible for the overall employment, development, and retention strategies for sales representatives and clinical specialists.

• Hire, develop, and retain sales representatives and clinical specialists in support of achieving business objectives

• Document formal field follow-up feedback reports post field visits

• Provide coaching, performance evaluations, and salary reviews for direct reports. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to Regional Sales team through field visits, observation, and measurement of results

• Establish plan quotas for each territory in region; ensure that strategies are in place to meet and exceed plan

• Ensure all sales and marketing programs are communicated and implemented and coordinated

• Drive team work between Medtronic sales organizations and other internal constituencies to improve communication and sharing of information and resources

• Monitor and control expenses

• Maintain the company's ethical position. Effectively communicate and manage company business conduct policies

MUST HAVE:

In this exciting role as a Clinical Research Program Manager, you will have primary focus responsibility to develop global clinical evidence generation strategies across products in alignment with Medtronic market launch and market development business needs. You will engage and manage relationships with R&D, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Development, global business partners, and other internal and external cross-functional partners to satisfy program needs.

The newly created ACM OU is committed to excellence in innovation and commercialization to pursue our vision and long-term business growth. The ACM OU organization is refining its product delivery, innovation, and commercialization approach to enable product leadership across all segments of our product portfolio. This will require enhancing our innovation processes, refining our design and delivery approaches to deliver an integrated and comprehensive portfolio that enables product development excellence across ACM.

• Program Management:

• Leads development and implementation of overall global clinical evidence strategy and roadmap for multiple medical device product(s) and/or remote monitoring system(s):

• Defining clinical evidence needs for current (released product) and new product portfolios

• Collaborates with key internal and external global stakeholders to identify evidence gaps

• Executes a fit-for-purpose strategy to acquire the necessary data to support the desired objectives, including identifying the level of clinical evidence required to satisfy identified business objectives

• Identifies and leverage innovative real-world data and real-world evidence opportunities to fulfill evidence requirements, optimizing time and costs

• Leverages latest literature, regulations and guidance to build and execute on evidence strategies

• Identifies, builds and maintains meaningful partnerships with key scientific influencers and innovators to understand clinical therapy/market needs from a clinician's perspective

• Coordinates clinical evidence strategies with other cross-functions to ensure robust CRMS strategy

• Serves as Core Team representative

• Provides clinical subject matter expertise (SME) and CRMS representation on various technology development (pre-PDP), product development (PDP), continued development (CDP) and remediation projects

• Leverages competitive intelligence around clinical/regulatory pathways, indications and labeling, claims, clinical evidence to inform and execute on differentiated and market leading evidence that support business stakeholders

• Determines burden of evidence for our products and partners with core team stakeholders to develop innovative clinical development plans to ensure timely product launch in target regions and market access and adoption

• Involved in changes to systems/products and what may be required to support this from a clinical perspective

• Keeps current on over-arching core team project priorities and deliverables

• Plans and oversees clinical research programs from concept through completion

• Develops and maintains detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocations, decision logs, risks & mitigations

• Prepares program dashboards to communicate the portfolio status, highlights, risks, mitigations

• Present to, and partner with, clinical and medical affairs team members and leadership on the overall health of the portfolio, successes, and areas of opportunity

• Interacts and works cross-functionally with (but not limited to) Clinical, Medical Science, Quality, Medical Safety, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, Market Development, R&D, and regions (US and OUS) to ensure program execution to achieve business goals within regulatory requirements.

• Ensure that clinical trials are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, and company SOPs

• Clinical Study Support and Oversight:

• Provides input into clinical investigation documents to ensure alignment with overall business strategy, including: Protocols, Case Report Forms, Informed Consent Forms, Clinical Study Reports etc.

• May lead document development and execution of studies

• Interprets and ensures dissemination of results of clinical investigations in preparation for new device or supporting application

• Works with statistical team on analysis of data from MDT-internal and external databases, as appropriate

• Leads cross-functional project teams

• Facilitates communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and external partners

• Provide regular updates to senior management and cross-functional leaders on project status, risks, and issues

• Regulatory Compliance and Engagement:

• Ensures that all clinical research activities comply with applicable regulatory requirements and ethical standards

• May coordinate with regulatory authorities and ethics committees to obtain necessary approvals

• Drives the global publication and evidence dissemination strategy through close collaborations with Medical Science, healthcare economics, global portfolio and marketing functions

• Develops and manages program budgets, including forecasting and tracking expenses

• Quality Assurance:

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. • 7years medical device sales or 7 years total sales experience with a minimum of 4 years of Medtronic sales experience with 2 years in a Senior Sales role

DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

• Preference toward local candidates with cath lab sales experience

• Prefer sales experience in capital equipment sales, surgical sales, and in-hospital pharmaceutical. Medical device sales is especially preferred but not required

• Completion of a strong sales training program

• Demonstrated high level of sales performance in a highly technical, competitive, and volatile environment

• Demonstrated skills in account, inventory, expense, and budget management

• Demonstrated skills in sales planning, organization and execution

• Consistent success working in a variety of business conditions

• Ability to teach and educate medical personnel, peers, and technical support personnel

Medtronic's Coronary and Renal Denervation (CRDN) business is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to be part of a high-performing team that is revolutionizing the design and development of energy based therapeutic medical devices to treat hypertension. In this role, you will leverage both your technical breadth and business acumen to support the newly approved therapy medical device software and participate in the design and development of next generation medical devices.

This position is in Mounds View, MN within the Coronary & Renal Denervation (OHS) Operating Unit and requires on-site presence four days a week.

A Day in the Life :

The Functional Manager is accountable for the overall health of their scrum teams. This includes responsibility for building and maintaining a team with the right level of skills and experiences to meet the team's business objectives. The Functional Manager is ultimately accountable for their teams' performance and execution.

In general, the following responsibilities apply for the Design Assurance Software Engineering Manager role. This includes, but is not limited to the following:

• Plans, directs, and implements all aspects of the company's design and development lifecycle of new medical device products or software systems.

• Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Challenges each direct report to focus on technical leadership and growth.

• Leads design, develop, test, debug, and verification including software.

• Organizes the coordination of activities with outside software service providers, suppliers, and consultants to ensure timely delivery.

• May develop, evaluate, implement, and maintain technical quality assurance and control systems or reliability systems and standards pertaining to materials, techniques, or company products.

• Understands and champions agile and scrum software development practices and cadences. Guides the conceptualization of new methodologies, processes, or products.

• Directs the development of new concepts from initial design to market release. Partners with program managers, product owners (POs), and scrum masters (SMs) to understand challenges and resolve issues.

• Reviews team metrics to drive a continuous improvement culture. Escalates issues following established governance practices as appropriate. Monitors documentation maintenance throughout all phases of development.

• Active member of software functional manager community, establishing processes and sharing best practices.

• Celebrates team and individual successes and wins.

• You will provide oversight for the development and maintenance of programs, systems, processes, and procedures that ensure compliance with policies and that the performance and quality of services conform to established internal and external standards and guidelines.

• Partner with R&D and Process Development Engineering, Regulatory, Marketing & Clinical to align group skills and capabilities with NPD strategies and future process technology needs.

• Grow and nurture cross site and cross functional relationships in a large, multi-site, matrixed organization.

• Participate at department management level and build strong peer relationships.

• Collaborate with core teams to establish objectives and evaluates progress of direct reports.

Qualifications -

MUST HAVE - MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant technical experience, or advanced degree with 3 years of technical experience.

Nice to Have

• Strong knowledge of software design, development, debug and test practices

• Experience using unit test frameworks, such as Google Test / Mock and following a Test-Driven Development software practice

• Familiar with using static analysis tools.

• Experience developing software within the medical device industry

• Experience using Git for source control and experience in a pull-request based workflow

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Travis CI to automate the build, test, and deploy software products.

• Experience with medical device design controls (e.g. ISO 13485), risk analysis (e.g. ISO 14971), and IEC62304 and SDLC

• Demonstrated experience in the following: embedded processors, microcontrollers, and development tools such as emulators, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes

• Proficiency in embedded communications protocols such as SPI, I2C

• Working knowledge of systems engineering principles, requirements management, and medical device regulation.

• Broad knowledge of project management, including Agile Scrum methodologies.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations across a growing community of hands on and experiential learning spaces. Joining our team on the ground floor of an emerging strategy, you'' will innovate across a global range of programming modalities. You will be accountable for site data collection in partnership with an ecosystem of external Non-Profit organizations. Internally, you will work across functions to ensure a consistent and high-quality experience of volunteers and scholars. Externally, you will engage with relevant local trends and public policy activity for the purpose of innovating and problem-solving programming and engagement at local makerspace sites.

Preference for this role is working in a hybrid capacity (3 days in the office) at our operating headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Will consider remote for strong candidate.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Coordinates participation in community and charitable activities, philanthropy projects, and organizations.

• Serves as company representative in interactions with not-for-profit organizations.

• Maintains knowledge of compliance and regulatory issues and may interact with local governments.

• Maintains oversight of makerspace site operations post-site launch.

• Accountable for site design assessment, data collection, and planning.

• Develop materials communicating programming progress to team and internal stakeholders including executive leadership.

Qualifications | Must Have Minimum Requirements

• Expertise in makerspace/experiential learning program design and delivery

• Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience.

Position Description:

Sr. Packaging Engineer for Medtronic, Inc. located in Northridge, CA. Responsible for design, development, validation and support of packaging systems for both existing and new medical products and class-II/class-III devices including components, assemblies, and labels from concept through implementation; design package by utilizing Solidworks or Creo packaging design software; create component specification drawings and drive change mgmt. processes through ECOs (Engineering Change Orders). Perform packaging engineering in a regulated environment and release compliant packaging designs by navigating c-GMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), 21CFR820, FDA quality assurance requirements for design and manufacturing and packaging; author package design validation plans, protocols, and work instructions; work with Quality to perform and support investigations on deviations and customer complaints related to packaging; conduct root cause analysis and implement CAPAs (Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions) to ensure delivery of quality devices/products; conduct risk assessments to include DFMEA & PFMEA (Design & Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis) for packaging, including packaging design and packaging process as required; perform and/or support Process Validation (PV) by applying statistical techniques including Design of Experiment (DOE) methodology; coordinate packaging Design Validation (DV) activities and work with outside vendors on material selection. Develop EU-MDR (Medical Device Regulations) compliant packing for medical devices. Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC); and author technical reports. *Position works a hybrid model and will be onsite in Northridge, CA - 3 days per week. #LI-DNI.

Basic Qualifications:

Qualifications - External

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of 3D Mapping and Navigation experience in electrophysiology procedures

In this exciting role as a Senior Electrical Engineer you will be part of the Engineering Services - Test Systems Engineering team at the Medtronic Energy and Component Center (MECC) supporting production of batteries used in implantable cardioverter defibrillators and cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillators. This role will be developing and releasing test systems for MECC's various manufacturing functions. We want an engineer that is ready to provide innovation into our testing technologies. This person should hold the ability to work on a cross functional team, be organized and results driven, that promotes long lasting solutions to better the way we do things here at Medtronic. We are looking for a technically competent, ambitious individual with a strong testing/manufacturing background.

• Lead the design, development, and test of both manual and automated test systems for testing batteries and battery components that go into our medical devices

• Utilize fluency in the medical industry documentation processes to execute the qualification and installation of our test equipment, including both hardware and software components

• Produce thorough and industry leading documentation to support our quality and compliance at Medtronic

• Support the development of batteries and associated components to be used in medical devices regarding testability

• Evaluate and develop custom electrical fixture designs to fulfill test specifications for MECC components

• Research and implement state of the art technologies to enhance test equipment features, improve safety, reliability, and performance; thereby optimizing manufacturing throughput and lowering manufacturing costs

• Implement Design for Reliability and Manufacturability (DRM) principles within the functional area

• Support Manufacturing in troubleshooting operations involving medical devices through manufacturing and test

• Provide technical assistance to other functional departments such as Product Engineering, Quality, Reliability and Manufacturing

• Lead, mentor and review the designs of less experienced engineers to ensure robustness

The PVH operating unit offers a diverse portfolio of devices and therapies to treat restore the right blood flow to the right patient.

Peripheral Vascular Health therapies treat patients with Peripheral and Carotid Artery Disease, End-Stage Renal Disease, Superficial and Deep Venous Diseases, and a variety of conditions treated with Peripheral Embolization. The operating unit leads the way in the Superficial Venous, Deep Venous Stenting, and Drug-Coated Balloon markets, caring for nearly 1 million patients globally with lifesaving and life-enhancing therapies.

This position is in Plymouth, MN. within the Peripheral Vascular Health (PVH) operating unit and requires on-site presence three days a week.

Qualifications

This Sr Program Manager will work in the Operational Excellence organization. • Overall responsibility for successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project.

• Facilitate alignment with cross-functional stakeholders, collaborate across OI, site, and functions for successful execution.

• Directs day to day activities for multiple work-stream teams through managing project plans, resourcing, status reporting, resolving issues, identifying project risks and accountability for deliverables across multiple functional organizations.

• Modifies scope, content of program as required, prioritizes individual projects.

• Maintain healthy and active project pipeline to achieve goals in line with strategic plans and AOP.

This position is for weekends Friday - Sunday 12 hours shif t (6:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.)

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Clean and package patient specific spin rods.

• Box and ship patient specific spin rods.

• Operates light-duty bench- or floor-type machine tools and equipment such as small lathes, power mills, extruding machines, drills or punch presses, power brakes, shears or saws.

• May set up machining machines and make adjustments, and perform maintenance on machines.

• Checks work using prescribed gauges, jigs and fixtures to measure close tolerances.

• Some machines may be numerically controlled.

• May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• 0 years of experience required.

Nice to Have:

• High School Diploma/GED

• Ability to work weekend shift, Friday - Sunday, 12 hours each day.
