A Day in the Life

A Territory Manager is expected to achieve annual sales objectives through selling and supporting the Company's neurovascular products while representing Medtronic to the customer in accordance with Company policies and AdvaMed guidelines. Territory Managers develop clinical and administrative relationships in assigned accounts and formulate a grow and defend territory strategy, accounting for competitive pressures and local market conditions. Territory Managers are expected to demonstrate High Performance Practices and competencies as they meet and exceed objectives for this role.

The Neurovascular Operating Unit provides a comprehensive portfolio of proven, powerful neurovascular technologies, setting the highest standards of integrity and reliability in Acute Ischemic and Hemorrhagic Stroke Care.

This is a field based position.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Promotes and sells Medtronic's Neurovascular products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Achieve all territory sales objectives annually in alignment with the business strategy and annual compensation plan.

  • Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including key opinion leaders and related major medical associations and academic centers of excellence.

  • Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's Neurovascular products and/or services.

  • Collaborates across key internal stakeholder groups (finance, sales operations, marketing, OEM, etc.) as well as peers to identify and address trends and to support business goals and strategy.

  • Conducts and/or evaluates market research including customers and competitors' activities.

  • Develops and/or implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.

  • Assesses customer needs and feedback regarding new products and/or modifications to existing products and communicates to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing.

  • Complete business analytics and regional reporting assignments in a timely, accurate fashion. Conduct quarterly business reviews to exhibit achievement of sales goals in all assigned accounts.

  • Maintain awareness of competitive products and marketing practices, and keep sales management informed concerning them.

  • Participate fully in training on new products and procedures through in person and online training programs. Attend regional and national meetings, as required.

  • Adjust customer complaints in accordance with Company policy, and advise sales management promptly of any situation beyond the Territory Manager's scope of authority.

  • Assist with Sales Training courses, both in the field and in the corporate office.

  • Understand and demonstrate the High Performance Practices and Expectations in daily work activities.

Qualifications

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident on your resume.

  • Bachelors Degree and 3+ years of medical sales experience.

Nice to Have

  • 5 years in medical or hospital service-line function, medical sales

  • Evidence of top sales achievement with experience in multilevel account management is preferred

  • Demonstrated experience in properly functioning within an office or hospital based operating room or cath lab setting.

  • Clinical experience in the interventional suite, hospital environment, or emergency medical response

  • Experience in medical device sales, focused heavily on interventional stroke procedures

Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy. In addition, your driving record will be reviewed and will be considered as part of your application. Must be able to drive approximately 50% of the time within assigned territory and may require overnight travel.

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. A Day in the Life

This role is an opportunity to further develop OPEX skills and gain a wider perspective of the Northridge manufacturing site, providing an outstanding learning opportunity to individuals that want to grow in the company.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Assess and maintain Tier boards (Hourly Production Tracker, Tiers 1,2 and 3) across manufacturing areas.

  • Follow-up and assess effectiveness of Leader Standard Work (Team/Group Leaders, MFG Supervisors and MFG Managers).

  • Participate in Gemba Walks. With OPEX team, create action plans and implement improvements.

  • Train and coach Operators, Team Leaders and others in the proper usage of the MPS (Tier boards, Tier Meetings, Leader Standard Work, Gemba Walks, 5's, etc.)

  • Champion 5's activities including regular assessment of different areas, creation and implementation of improvement plans. Maintain a proper inventory of 5's supplies.

  • Create progress reports of the different MPS systems through Excel and Power Point.

  • Collect data and conduct data analysis towards making process improvements.

  • Participate in A3 Problem Solving as needed.

  • This role is hands-on, expected to spend 50%-75% in the different manufacturing and support areas.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires minimum of 2 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.

Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Vocational training and/or certification.

  • Manufacturing Experience

  • Good Communication skills

  • Medical Device experience

  • Verbal, written and presentation skills

  • Technical writing skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Access, Excel, Project, Visio, and Word

Payroll Tax Analyst (Remote) - Medtronic

A Day in the Life

You'll be part of the US/Puerto Rico Payroll Tax Team responsible for providing accurate, timely administration of Medtronic payroll and payroll tax programs according to plan rules and applicable legal requirements. You will also provide payroll and payroll tax process support as a project team member on departmental and cross-functional initiatives and independently perform specialized function-related processes and analysis.

This position is a remote role and can reside anywhere in the US.

Responsibilities include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Provide support for ongoing payroll and payroll tax operational activities.

  • Run reports and analyze employee level tax data, determine if adjustments are needed, enter adjustments when necessary, and review work to ensure results are accurate.

  • Review escalated employee tax cases to determine action needed and provide excellent customer service to resolve employee questions and meet service level agreements.

  • Work with third party payroll tax processor to maintain accurate account information.

  • Reconcile tax information between Workday Payroll and ADP, the third-party payroll tax processor, to ensure all employee and company data is accurate.

  • Enter and review employee tax data in Workday and performs various payroll tax audits to ensure employee tax set-up and withholdings are correct.

  • Research compliance issues, IRS, state and local laws to provide recommendations to ensure compliance and recommend changes to internal payroll and payroll tax processes.

  • Collaborate with other teams in all aspects of Payroll Tax matters including new tax initiatives, changes in tax initiatives and with an emphasis of establishing best practices.

  • Supports Payroll Tax Operations and supports Payroll Operations with Month-End, Quarter-End and Year-End Payroll tasks and projects.

  • Stays current and maintains applicable Payroll Tax compliance knowledge by reviewing and studying professional publications as well as completing Payroll Tax educational courses annually.

  • Manages and tracks daily off-cycle tax payments from the Treasury department to our 3rd party tax vendor.

  • Complete all mandatory reporting documents regarding Multiple Worksite Reporting and the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

  • Act as a payroll tax resource for internal/external audits and company acquisitions.

  • Manage deceased employee payment process.

  • Assist with Puerto Rico taxation and W-2 reporting.

MUST HAVE: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent with 2+ years payroll tax or payroll experience; or, an advanced degree

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Experience using Workday

  • ADP experience

The Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist will be vital in launching new products and sustaining the current product portfolio. The senior specialist complies with US and EU regulatory requirements and partners with the international regulatory affairs group to support regulatory submissions. Sustaining regulatory responsibilities include reviewing changes to ensure that regulatory requirements continue to be met, documenting -no file- decisions, reviewing promotional materials, and ensuring that our product technical documentation is current and accurate.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Provide strategic input and technical guidance on regulatory requirements for new technologies and product modifications.

  • Prepare Pre-Sub, IDE/IDE Supplement, PMA Supplement, and technical documents to support CE mark/MDR submissions.

  • Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet project schedules

  • Interface with engineering, quality, clinical, marketing, and other functions as needed to fulfill responsibilities

  • Communicated with regulatory agencies and notified bodies and served as a regulatory liaison for the project team throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Review promotional and advertising material.

  • Maintain current regulatory knowledge of domestic and international regulations, guidelines, and standards.

  • Create or revise departmental procedures to improve operations or to reflect changing regulatory requirements.

  • Participate in internal and external audits as needed

  • Maintain Regulatory affairs documentation to support compliance with applicable regulatory requirements

  • Perform other duties as assigned or required

Required Knowledge and Experience:

Requires a Baccalaureate degree

Minimum of 4 years of medical device regulatory affairs experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years experience.

Nice To Have

  • Degree in Science or Engineering

  • RAPS Professional Certification (RAC)

  • History of successful 510(k)/IDE/PMA device submissions and other worldwide submissions and clearances.

  • Experience with FDA requirements, guidance documents, Medical Device Directive, ISO 14971, ISO 13485, and other global regulatory requirements and quality standards

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and proficiency with Microsoft Office and software tools.

A Day in the Life

Provide technical, clinical and sales support, in collaboration with the sales team, within the region or assigned territory in support of the launch and adoption of the EP mapping and navigation system (Affera) and all products within the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) business. Collaborates with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to develop and execute on short-and long-term strategies, including the growth of the mapping and navigation system. Overall technical, clinical and educational support for the assigned territory.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and all CAS products.

  • Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to CAS products and related procedures.

  • Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures.

  • Understand and support national, regional and territory sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals within all CAS products.

  • Develop and cultivate customer relationships resulting in incremental business.

  • Work in partnership with Account Manager, Regional Manager and Area Directors to identify potential sales opportunities.

  • Collaborate and strategize with local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and other CA Solutions products.

  • Collaborate and communicate with the sales and clinical teams in the region.

  • Serves as an effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic CAS products, service and support.

  • Serve as a regional champion to share your experience and influence others to be proficient in the mapping technology.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma PLUS a minimum of 8 years of work experience incardiac mapping and navigation. OR

  • Associate degree PLUS a minimum of 6 years of work experience incardiac mapping and navigation. OR

  • Bachelor degree plus a minimum of 4 years of work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.A./B.S. Degree in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or technical discipline with minimum of four years work experience in cardiac field, hospital/clinic or sales.

  • Proven track record with technical training assignments.

  • Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, in a hospital/clinic or EP medical sales providing technical / clinical support.

  • Ability to travel more than 25% of the time

  • Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy. In addition, your driving record will be reviewed and will be considered as part of your application

  • Define guidelines for writing manual tests and implement coding practices for automated tests.

  • Coordinate technical discussions and problem solving for software projects and collaborate with cross functional teams.

  • Coach other engineers on best practices and new technologies and review test designs and test scripts.

  • You will be a key interface between the software test team and other cross functional teams. You will provide timely reports for verification activities to the management

  • Tests the functionality and performance of software applications or systems software.

  • Develops and executes test plans and scripts designed to detect problems in software applications and systems software.

  • Ensures software applications or systems software meets technical and functional requirements.

  • Performs workflow analysis, documents test results and recommends quality improvements.

  • Works with development to resolve software defects and diagnose/improve product configuration for current and future models.

  • Reviews test automation frameworks, tools, techniques, and methodologies.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required inComputer Science, Electrical Engineering or related Engineering or Sciences field

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in at least one of the programing language. i.e. Java, C, C++,python using Embedded development environment.

  • Experience on both white box and black box testing.

  • Solid hands on with Automated, semi-automated & manual testing

A Day in the Life

At Medtronic, the Associate Sales Representative, Pain Interventions is an entry level role that will provide an opportunity to become a clinical and technical expert on Pain Interventional Therapies. This role will assist with managing and growing a territory base business by initiating, supporting and developing key referral networks and strategic implanting centers. In certain geographies, under direction, will be responsible for market development networks and will be the account relationship contact for assigned territory's customer needs including account level reimbursement responsibility. The Associate Sales Representative will have responsibilities for the growth of market share and revenue within an assigned geography. In addition, this role will also coordinate support activities and development of sales partnerships with distribution alliances. This role reports directly to a District Sales Manager, supports other Sales Representative peers and partners with a Clinical Specialist team.

This is a field-based position.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Sell implantable devices for specific therapies to physicians, institutions, payors, and other appropriate medical staff

  • Partner with strategic implanting centers to develop the account/implanter practice through:

  • providing product and therapy technical support and service,

  • including consultation at strategic management and analysis of sales trends,

  • utilization of appropriate Neuro business partners to present marketing and business plans to accounts for territory development and growth

  • Ensure personal understanding of all quality policy/system items that are personally applicable

  • Follow all work/quality procedures to ensure quality system compliance and high quality work

  • Generate new sales: Develop leads, recruit new surgeons, qualify prospects, and make sales calls

  • Grow existing Pain and Interventional business and develop new opportunities

  • Work autonomously, utilizing corporate resources to generate revenue and meet/exceed quota

  • Implement approved marketing strategies

  • Aggressively seek new customers, formulating and following plans for such action as directed by the District Sales Manager

  • Respond to customer complaints in accordance with Medtronic policy and advising District Sales Manager and Medtronic promptly of any situation beyond scope of authority

  • Stay attentive to competitor's product and merchandizing practices and to keep the District Sales Manager informed concerning them

  • Maintain up-to-date customer record books and other records in accordance with District Sales Manager instructions

  • Prepare and submit call reports as required by District Sales Manager

  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows as directed

  • Cooperate with all personnel on the execution of Company programs

  • Create and implement an annual business plan with quarterly updates

  • Provide service to customers per their individual needs

  • Respond in a timely manner to all reporting requirements and requests

  • Adhere to company policies and conducts all business in an ethical manner

  • Manage business within assigned budgets and with Medtronic profitability in mind

  • Other activities as they arise, as assigned by the sales leadership

Qualifications -

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

The Structural Heart and Aortic integrated Operating Unit offers minimally-invasive approaches to restore proper structure and function of the heart and the aorta. We focus on the transcatheter replacement or repair of the four heart valves-aortic, pulmonic, mitral, tricuspid-and the placement of stent grafts to treat aneurysms and dissections of the body's largest artery, the aorta.

  • As a member of the Structural Heart and Aortic R&D team, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement processes to drive efficiencies for the entire team.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Processing and payment of R&D contracts, professional fees, and services.

  • Establish cadence of department, team, and individual team meetings.

Numerical Modeling Engineer - Senior - Medtronic

A Day in the Life

This position will provide highly specialized computational modeling expertise in design and development of innovative products to treat cardiac diseases. The emphasis will be on modelling electromagnetic systems in the human body, including MRI, radio frequency, and electric fields. Bearing in mind first principles, the Senior Computational Modeling Engineer will understand business requirements, formulate a modeling approach that will address those requirements, independently carry out the modeling activities and provide concise communication of the results through technical reports and presentations.

In this role, you will contribute to the development of new devices every day and help ensure the safety and efficacy of those devices. You will spend time

Perform theoretical and finite element analysis (FEA), researching and understanding regulations and requirements, and working with teams to solve complex and multifaceted problems. This individual will develop technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of creativity and critical thinking.

Primary responsibilities will consist of the following:

  • Provide technical leadership on M&S based MR safety development and test for Implantable Medical Devices

  • Provide electrical and Radiofrequency (RF) engineering skills to design, develop, characterize, and verify MR safety in new product designs

  • Fundamental understanding of MR induced RF, gradient, and static fields, and associated MR safety design for Implantable Medical Devices

  • Work closely with other Engineers and Technicians to verify and validate multiphysics based Medical Device and lead heating models

  • Analysis of product performance using DFSS techniques

  • Design and execute test methods to characterize MR safety and verify adherence to standards, product, and systems requirements

  • Validate test environments comprising custom RF equipment, software, and test methods

  • Interface with certified test houses to verify/certify to global regulatory standards including ISO 14708-3, ISO/TS 10974, IEC 60601-2-33, etc.

  • Work under minimal supervision

  • Ensure understanding of all quality policy/system items that are personally applicable. Follow all work/quality procedures to ensure quality system compliance and high-quality work.

  • Ability to work with others internationally and travel globally

Nice to Have:

  • MR safety experience for Medical Devices

  • Strong understanding of electromagnetics and their interactions with Medical Devices

  • Proven experience in computational M&S in the context of electromagnetics and Medical Devices

  • Proficiency in relevant multiphysics simulation tools such as Sim4Life, ANSYS, etc.

  • Experience with model verification and validation in accordance with V&V40 or other standards

  • Experience validating test scripts, methods, and systems

  • Experience in hardware integration of RF subsystems

  • Experience designing analog and digital circuitry on custom PCBs

  • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills

  • Demonstrated time management and organization skills

  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new knowledge quickly

Provide technical, educational and sales support to assist the district in meeting assigned Coronary Renal Denervation (CRDN) sales and customer service objectives. POSTION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sales Support for two or more CRDN business units and will assist with the implementation of the sales strategy of the remaining CRDN business units.

  • Support the regional CRDN sales strategy as set forth by the Area Sales Director; working with sales representatives and managers of all business units to achieve business plans.

  • The DM and Area Sales Director may include primary responsibility for sales if no other sales representative is assigned to the business unit.

  • Technical Support:

  • Represents Medtronic during procedures and implants of products to provide troubleshooting and other technical assistance.

  • Provides support with field clinical investigations in assigned institutions. Ensures completion of necessary documentation.

  • Receives technical inquiries by telephone. Research solutions to questions or problems (e.g.product selection issues,technical questions about Medtronic CRDN products when appropriate, etc.)

  • Educational Support

  • Educates and trains physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to our products and pacing through conducting and/or coordinating:

  1. One-on-one training sessions

  2. In-service education programs

  3. Seminars and/or outside symposiums

  • Assist DM and in-house training department in educating/training new Clinical Specialists and sales representatives.

  • Provide training and resources for hospital staff to enable them to conduct training for their personnel ("train the trainer").

  • Sales Support:

  • During/following cases:

Complete necessary documentation and phone calls (customer service).

Update sales representatives concerning cases. Immediately notifies representatives regarding issues or problems requiring follow-up.

Serves as effective Medtronic representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic products, service, and support.

  • Manage inventories (consignment, trunk and district office, loaner products) and provides support with rotation and delivery to optimize customer service and efficiency.

  • Conduct regular unsolicited calls to hospitals or clinics.

  • Maintain current knowledge regarding CRDN, Medtronic programs, products and services and competitive products.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

This field-based role is responsible for the execution of US Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) field inventory strategies and initiatives to achieve Service, Inventory, Scrap, Obsolescence, Gains and Losses (SOGL) and Freight goals. This position acts as a district liaison for inventory topics between field-based employees (Sales Reps, Clinical Specialist, District Managers)/ Customers and the internal team (Global Supply Chain, Distribution, Customer Care, Marketing, Logistics, and IT) while reporting directly into the US CRM Field Inventory Analyst organization.

This individual must be analytical, results oriented and highly organized with the ability to multi-task and have a readiness to adapt to changing field and departmental needs. The field inventory team will receive cross-training for the cardiovascular clinical specialist role and can transition to this cardiovascular clinical role as part of the standard career path.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Field Inventory Management

  • Daily engagement with multiple internal and external business partners to coordinate inventory strategies.

  • Supports inventory repositioning for emergent case needs, filling order from field, short date management, stagnant inventory management, cycle count completion and correction of inventory accuracy issues.

  • Partner with field-based District Service Managers, Clinicals Specialist, Sales Reps and District Managers to ensure the right product is the right place at the right time helping to execute the perfect patient and customer experience through daily coverage logistics.

  • Coordinate and execute Phase-In and Phase-Out activities for product launches including coordinating with other Medtronic employees on collection and accessing accounts/hospitals to place and remove inventory while ensuring support documents are accurate.

  • Mobilizing inventory for supply constraints within the assigned district.

  • Collaborate with internal team of Customer Care Supply Chain Analyst and Field Inventory Program Managers to accelerate shared business objectives focused on mobilizing inventory.

  • Build credibility, trust, and respect from internal and external customers.

  • Looks for win-win solutions to meet BU needs while also driving the Field Inventory strategies.

  • Reviews and analyzes data and proactively elevates issues; partners with stakeholders to drive action appropriately.

  • Takes initiative by not only identifying opportunities/issues but also developing business cases and alternatives.

  • Communicate and facilitate the execution of inventory management initiatives with sales teams.

Account Consignment Inventory Management

  • Proactively monitor and maintain inventory levels at customer accounts.

  • Conduct cycle counts of inventory at customer accounts as needed.

  • Ensure expired and short-dated units are identified, segregated, returned, and swapped out for longer-dated units in alignment with internal process and procedure.

  • Assist with resolving discrepant inventory levels at customer accounts.

  • Educate customers on inventory management requirements including care and handling, inventory level maintenance, Use-by-Date reviews, order placement, returns, swap-outs, and other processes as required.

  • Maintain effective relationships with Customer Care Supply Chain and Customer service operations to insure effective fulfillment of customer orders.

  • Assist sales field with obtaining signed Consignment Agreements (CA) and Inventory Schedules (IS).

Other Job Duties

  • Provides regular on-call support for evenings and weekends when critical business needs arise.

  • Remote position that travels locally regularly including additional overnight or occasional flight travel.

  • Understands and adheres to FDA Regulations, quality and training requirements, SOPs, and Work Instructions-continually looking for opportunities to improve quality.

  • Stay current on internal training requirements and product knowledge.

  • Proactively proposes ideas for process improvement and takes action to drive completion.

  • Meets deadlines and drives results; proactively communicates and resets expectations when timeline is not achievable.

Additional Information

  • This position will support the New Orleans , Louisiana territory. The ideal candidate would reside near New Orleans, Louisiana to successfully support this district.

  • This role is 100% field-based, and candidates will be travelling locally for the majority of job duties. Candidates must be able to support overnight/long distance travel to Louisiana district when required (25-50%)

  • Must have valid driver's license with clean record and subject to regular driver's license review for compliance purposes.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience

A Day in the Life

At Medtronic, the ENT Sales Representative has the responsibility and authority to sell all Medtronic Surgical Technologies ENT products to hospitals, physicians and other approved customers within the geographical limits of their territory to attain established quotas and sales objectives.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • To conduct face-to-face sales calls with physicians, nurses and other key purchase influencers in the sales territory to demonstrate, in-service and sell Medtronic Surgical Technologies capital and disposable products.

  • Responsible for the successful execution of Sales Action Plans. This will necessitate use of own vehicles and transportation of some heavy pieces of inventory.

  • To plan, strategize and successfully execute sales calls to all relevant hospital departments, outpatient surgery centers and doctors' offices in the territory.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

  • Provide product training for all potential audiences involved in the use and sales of the Ellipsys System and other vascular products as assigned

  • Provide training on ultrasound, Ellipsys System supporting supplies and materials required for our procedures, and products. This includes ultrasound in-services, product in-services, mock cases, case coverage, and participation in field employee training

  • Provide case support as needed to drive therapy adoption and new business development

  • Training and educating customers on our products and associated procedures. Work with physicians and lab/office staff in case selection process

  • Resolve site customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management

  • Support territory sales strategy through partnership with sales, in-servicing and market development activities, inventory support, PO collection and technical case support

  • Supports inventory repositioning for emergent case needs, filling order from field, short date management, stagnant inventory management, cycle count completion and correction of inventory accuracy issues.

  • Partner with field-based District Service Managers, Clinicals Specialist, Sales Reps and District Managers to ensure the right product is the right place at the right time helping to execute the perfect patient and customer experience through daily coverage logistics.

  • Coordinate and execute Phase-In and Phase-Out activities for product launches including coordinating with other Medtronic employees on collection and accessing accounts/hospitals to place and remove inventory while ensuring support documents are accurate.

  • Mobilizing inventory for supply constraints within the assigned district.

  • Collaborate with internal team of Customer Care Supply Chain Analyst and Field Inventory Program Managers to accelerate shared business objectives focused on mobilizing inventory.

Account Consignment Inventory Management

  • Proactively monitor and maintain inventory levels at customer accounts.

  • Conduct cycle counts of inventory at customer accounts as needed.

  • Ensure expired and short-dated units are identified, segregated, returned, and swapped out for longer-dated units in alignment with internal process and procedure.

  • Assist with resolving discrepant inventory levels at customer accounts.

  • Educate customers on inventory management requirements including care and handling, inventory level maintenance, Use-by-Date reviews, order placement, returns, swap-outs, and other processes as required.

  • Maintain effective relationships with Customer Care Supply Chain and Customer service operations to insure effective fulfillment of customer orders.

  • Assist sales field with obtaining signed Consignment Agreements (CA) and Inventory Schedules (IS).

Other Job Duties

  • Provides regular on-call support for evenings and weekends when critical business needs arise.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

PD (Product Development) Program Manager / Core Team Operations Representative (CTOR) is the primary Operations interface to the New Product Development (NPD) Core team. This is a highly visible and impactful role in the operations network and to the Advanced Surgical Technologies (AST) business unit of Medtronic's Surgical Operating Unit. The CTOR will lead cross-functional extended teams and is responsible for value stream selection, planning, execution, and implementation of new products into manufacture.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

o Generating Design Transfer Deliverables (Plans and Reports)

o Driving Process Development:

Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.

Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.

Designs sequence of manufacturing operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.

Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

o Lead the Extended Operations Team to ensure on-time and on-budget performance through the new product development cycle.

o Follow compliance processes for New Product Development

o Execute pre-established Operations Strategies.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

. Autonomy: PD Program Manager in the CTOR role is responsible for medium to larger scale programs. A successful candidate will need to bring clarity, refine plans, and drive team execution through ambiguously defined situations. Guidance from peers and stakeholders is readily available.

. Organizational Impact:The candidate will own and ensure overall Operations project execution. Results are accomplished by indirectly leading Extended Operations functions such as Supply Management, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, Contract Manufacturing, Packaging & Labeling, Sterilization, Global Supply Chain, and Distribution functions.

. Influence and Complexity: A successful candidate will be able to: 1) Apply best practices and lead meetings with internal/external stakeholders, 2) Communicate effectively to higher level management, 3) Solve issues through information exchange and influence, and 4) Gain cooperation of other functions on program objectives and plan execution.

. Flexibility: A successful candidate may need to work with remote manufacturing plants (internal and external). Travel may be required for this role and is usually planned in advance to meet project needs with up to 25% domestic/international travel.

MUST HAVE: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

. Bachelors degree required with minimum of 7 years of engineering experience in manufacturing and/or product development, or Advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

NICE TO HAVE

. Advanced degree in an Engineering discipline or Masters in Business Administration

. Medical device product development and/or manufacturing experience and a strong understanding of FDA, ICH and IEC standards

. Experience across the entire product lifecycle

. DRM, DFSS or Six Sigma Green Belt Certified

. Proven Operations experience with depth of knowledge in at least one Operations function

. Experience working in a highly regulated industry (e.g. medical device, pharmaceutical, avionics, automotive)

The Surgical Sales Representative, GYN is responsible for selling our TruClear product portfolio, exceeding sales quota and managing the assigned territory within budget guidelines.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages assigned territory by selling the TruClear product portfolio to exceed quota by:

  • Designs, develops, tests, debugs, and unit tests mobile apps, components, and tools independently without any guidance

  • Develop in Android Studio or Xcode

  • Be an expert in one of the following languages: Dart, Java, Kotlin, C/C++, Objective-C, Swift

  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills; can identify root cause of complex problems and provide solutions to such complex issues

  • Knowledge of Database operations on mobile devices

  • Knowledge of integrating with REST/SOAP based APIs

  • Provide feedback to members of the requirements, development, and test team.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Provide technical, educational, operational and sales support to assist the district in meeting CRHF sales and customer service objectives.

SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects - from design to implementation - while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education.

Bachelor's Degree PLUS a minimum 2 years of work experience in healthcare, field sales, or work experience utilizing complex mathematics, mechanical concepts, science or computing.

  • Master all hernia and soft tissue repair related Surgical Devices' products and applications for hernia repair.

  • Develop procedural knowledge and expertise on hernia and soft tissue repair procedures.

  • Develop local market strategy to increase hernia and soft tissue repair market share and create a business plan to execute on the strategy

  • Attain required objectives designed to increase hernia and soft tissue repair revenue and increase market share.

  • Act as the hernia and soft tissue repair expert in the field for internal and external customers.

  • Create effective selling strategies and tools to assist entire region in converting hernia and soft tissue repair business

  • Develop business by creation of educational programs to increase surgeon's safe and effective use of Surgical Devices hernia and soft tissue repair products in collaboration with Marketing and Sales Training.

  • Increase overall satisfaction levels at Surgical Devices' accounts through support of product and procedural applications

  • Continually increase technical/industry knowledge through appropriate training opportunities

  • Participate in Divisional and Regional meetings.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Promotes and sells Medtronic's Medical/Scientific Equipment products and services including non-implantable medical or scientific equipment products and/or services (e.g., diagnostic medical equipment, medical imaging machines, medical laboratory equipment, and non-implantable medical devices) within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including hospitals, physicians, and Radiology and Surgical personnel.

  • Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's Medical/Scientific Equipment products and/or services.

  • Conducts and/or evaluates market research including customers and competitors activities.

  • Develops and/or implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.

  • Assesses customer needs and feedback regarding new products and/or modifications to existing products and communicates to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required

  • Minimum of 5 years of medical device sales experience and complete knowledge of company products and services

Nice to Have

  • 5 years of proven sales success in a B2B or hospital environment. Experience in Medical Device or Operating Room sales preferred

  • Marketing experience

  • Skills/Competencies: Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in MS Office applications.
