The Engineering Manager is responsible for managing a team of engineers and scientists within the Mitral & Tricuspid Implant team. This role is responsible for managing the team that performs image analysis of patient anatomies, develops FEA models for testing of implants, develops predictive clinical models, designs preclinical studies, supports clinical complaints, improves screening methods, and generates boundary conditions for Implant development. This individual will interface closely with other members of the Implant group to develop a cohesive product development strategy and establish best in class competencies.

The Structural Heart and Aortic integrated operating unit offers minimally-invasive approaches to restore proper structure and function of the heart and the aorta. We focus on the transcatheter replacement or repair of the four heart valves-aortic, pulmonic, mitral, tricuspid-and the placement of stent grafts to treat aneurysms and dissections of the body's largest artery, the aorta. This position will primarily support programs in Mitral and Tricuspid therapy areas.

This position is within the Structural Heart and Aortic (OSH-SHA) operating unit and is not open to remote candidates. The candidate must be local to Minneapolis/St Paul area and must be able to work on-site.

In general, the following responsibilities apply for the Engineering Manager. This includes, but is not limited to the following:

• The Engineering Manager will work closely with other leaders of the Implant development team to establish the strategy for new Implant development

• Closely monitors emerging trends and technologies. Incorporates latest technologies and best practices in the team's PDP workflow

• Interfaces with customers to understand user needs and requirements.

• Organizes activities with external partners and consultants to ensure timely delivery.

• Guides the conceptualization of new methodologies and processes. Interfaces with peers across Medtronic to establish best practices and build competencies

• Accountability for mentoring, developing and coaching staff on performance expectations and defined objectives, providing leadership to staff ensuring the prioritization of strategic and department level initiatives to include defining performance goals and targets, conducting performance reviews, and staff 1:1s to guide performance management and employee development efforts and manage toward departmental goals

• Provide technical input supporting submissions to regulatory bodies and governmental agencies.

• Implement and apply human data privacy restrictions

MUST HAVE - MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, PLEASE BE SURE THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS ARE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or a technical discipline

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Engineering; managerial experience, OR advanced degree in Engineering, and/or Quality with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with 3 years of managerial experience

Nice to Have

• Advanced degree in engineering, science, or equivalent technical discipline

• Demonstrated understanding of Imaging Analysis.

• In depth knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology and pathology.

• In depth knowledge of tricuspid valve, mitral valve, and surrounding structures

• Ability to read and interpret cardiac imaging modalities: CT, echo, fluoro

• Analysis of large datasets

• Experience with Python and/or MATLAB

• Experience with physics-based modeling such as CFD or FEA

• Knowledge of catheter-based technologies

• Experience with heart valve development and manufacturing.

• Experience in a highly regulated industry, preferably implantable medical devices

• Knowledge of product development cycles including clinical and regulatory requirements

• Ability to coach and mentor highly technical engineering team members.

A Day in the Life

As a Software Engineer I, you will be a member of the new product development team that supports the design and development of innovative products within the Surgical Business.

• Design, implement, and test software for medical device products

A Day in the Life

Provide technical, clinical and sales support, in collaboration with the sales team, within the region or assigned territory in support of the launch and adoption of the EP mapping and navigation system (Affera) and all products within the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) business. Required Qualifications

The Structural Heart and Aortic integrated operating unit offers minimally invasive approaches to restore proper structure and function of the heart and the aorta. We focus on the transcatheter replacement or repair of the four heart valves-aortic, pulmonic, mitral, tricuspid-and the placement of stent grafts to treat aneurysms and dissections of the body's largest artery, the aorta.

We are looking for a talented engineer to join our systems engineering team at Medtronic Structural Heart & Aortic.

The Senior Systems Engineer will have responsibility supporting our products throughout the entire development life cycle which means you'll participate in all aspects of product developmentfrom concept exploration, system definition & design, testing, issue investigation & resolution, and continuous improvement. You will play a crucial role in driving projects through the product development process using your solid engineering understanding, energetic team attitude, results driven spirit, and focused attention on exceling when presented with challenges.

Role and Responsibilities:

• You will support requirements capture, maintenance and management at varying levels of details. You will serve as the team's information conduit between the stakeholders, development teams and V&V groups.

• Using your collaboration skills; you will work across engineering teams to define and manage requirements at the system, product, subsystem and interface level

• We'll ask you to apply technical engineering to design products and systems.

• You'll also perform technical analysis using methods such as functional analysis, timeline analysis and trade studies.

• You'll have responsibility to support the development of product concepts, user needs and use cases and product requirements.

• You'll ensure requirements of quality and decompositions flow down

• You will conduct technical design and reviews.

• You'll also lead, plan, schedule, conduct & monitor testing activities including verification test design, development, execution and documentation\

• We'll ask you to support testing and problem reporting and determine steps to reproduce, root cause and solutions options

• We'll ask you to participate in early concept exploration and feasibility evaluations.

• Using your communication skills; you will coordinate the technical cross functional groups in reducing technical risk and completing product development milestones.

• Overall, you will contribute to the completion of project/program deliverables for our product development activities supporting the IIM product portfolio

Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Scientific discipline

• Minimum 4 years of professional technical engineering experience

• Experience in product development

A Day in the Life

At Medtronic, the Therapy Support Specialist supports the Interstim Therapy groups in the areas of surgical coverage, follow-up, support, troubleshooting, customer service and education within a territory. In certain instances, this role may be engaged in basic market development activities depending upon the needs of the assigned territory.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Represents Medtronic Neuromodulation during surgeries and implants by providing all necessary equipment and products required for the implant, demonstrates expertise in all aspects of implant, follow-up support and troubleshooting techniques (such as proper device selection, appropriate programming, correct implantation and testing of all device systems).

• Maintains current knowledge about assigned products and services as well as competitive products.

• For new and existing accounts, this position is able to proactively identify needs and teach a broader level of caregivers and account employees.

• Educates and trains physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to our products and therapies. This is achieved by coordinating: one on one sessions, in service education programs, seminars and/or outside symposiums.

• Assists district manager and in-house training department in education/training of new employees in the district (therapy consultants, clinical specialists, field clinical engineers, etc.).

• Provides sales support during or following cases such as completing the necessary documentation (for example: implant registration, temporary id cards, packing list) and is able to execute invoices in a variety of different situations. This position is able to place an order with customer service for pending purchase orders and product replacement.

• Maintains open and effective communication with all district personnel, customers and other Medtronic employees.

• Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects at the regional and/or national level.

• Has an understanding of all quality policy/system items that are applicable.

• Follows all work/quality procedures to ensure quality system compliance and high quality work.

• Performs other related activities, as assigned.

Qualifications - External

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident on your resume.

- High School Diploma or GED AND a minimum of 6 years of patient care/clinical experience; or

- Associate's Degree AND a minimum of 4 years of patient care/clinical experience; or

- Bachelor's Degree AND a minimum of 2 years of patient care/clinical experience.

Nice to Have:

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree

- Clinical skill and knowledge (ex. ability to conduct a simple trial, implant and/or refill a pump)

- Clinical experience with implantable Neuromodulation products and stim experience

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Provide detailed technical support for peripheral products and procedures to a wide range of clinical base including physicians, nurses and technicians. Support sales representatives with coverage for critical cases, primarily focused on cases with physicians that require technical support on the safe and effective use of our products.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Provide clinical and technical support as well as education to Medtronic customers in the area of PAD treatment

• Receive direction from the Sales Reps and District Managers on cases and physicians that require technical support and expertise

• Educate and provide information regarding clinical results and the clinical efficacy of our full bag portfolio

• Support regional sales strategy; work with sales representatives and managers to achieve business plans. This may include inventory support, technical case support, and compliant market development activities. Strong direction should be provided by the sales representative and the district manager

• Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling to be able to provide last minute technical case support where the organization or customers requireit

• Provide education and support to CVG sales and clinical counterparts on peripheral products and partner within the team and CVG to share and leverage best practices

• Support all BU activities including but not limited to; training, PO collection and inventorymanagement

MUST HAVE:

IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME

• H.S. Degree and 11+ years

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.

• Design, implement, and optimize automation tools to verify the mobile and server product suite

• Work closely with software and test teams to ensure the system works properly from end-to-end, both pre and post-release

• Develop lab testing strategies and ensure lab automation works correctly

• Research and prototyping solutions

• Promote good software testing practices at every stage of development

• Lead external teams to help build automation tools , including selected vendors

• Champion processes and process improvement throughout the organization

• Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains standards for software systems quality operating methods, processes, and procedures.

• Conducts evaluation of software systems activities including requirements, design, development, documentation, integration, test, verification and validation.

• Have a hands on experience and deep understanding in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) testing.

• Defines appropriate measures to ensure product quality.

• Develops overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives.

• Ensures that projects and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contracts.

• Reviews software systems design, change specifications, and plans against contractual and/or process requirements.

• Reviews include applicable specifications, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies.

• Provides or directs verification and validation of software system requirements, traceability, and testability.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

A Day in the Life

The Quality Engineer II will have pivotal role and have responsibility for ensuring all aspects of quality within the Global Calibration Services - Midwest Region Metrology Department. The Regional Metrology Department provides calibration for test and measurement equipment used in research, development, and manufacturing environments within a wide range of Operating Units and functional units throughout the world. This challenging position will engage in the measurement traceability of all equipment used for making multiple products throughout the Medtronic portfolio.

. Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality standards and protocol for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.

. Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.

. Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.

. Designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.

. Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.

. May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

Provide technical, educational, operational and sales support to assist the district in meeting Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) sales and customer service objectives. CRM seeks collaborative candidates who will meet our customer expectations by striving without reserve for the greatest possible reliability and quality in our products, processes, and systems by being accountable, having a voice and taking action.

Clinical Specialists are required to be within their assigned territory each day to be available as unscheduled needs arise. CS's are required to work a number of weekends and holidays during the quarter, as determined by local management. Weeknight call coverage is the primary responsibility of the Sales Rep, however, at times, business and/or geographical needs require a CS to be scheduled for weeknight coverage as approved by regional management.

A DAY IN THE LIFE: POSITION RESPO NSIBILITIES:

• Technical Support

• Successfully completes CRM Field Technical Training - including online and field-based training

• Performs checks/interrogations of all CRM medical device systems post sign-off

• Supports implants of all CRM products post sign-off

• Provides on-call support as needed on evenings and weekends post sign-off

• Provide troubleshooting support as requested

• Operational Support

• Assures completion of patient registration and any other required hospital documentation

• Helps manage consignment inventory and trunk inventory once obtained

• Provides additional inventory support to meet customer needs

• Maintains software on programmers throughout the district as directed

• Assists with managing daily coverage logistics as needed

• Educational Support

• Educates and trains physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on products or solutions for which training has been completed

• Assists with educating and training new Clinical Specialists and Sales Representatives post sign-off

• Sales Support

• Partners with DSM, Sales Reps and DM to learn market dynamics and local customer motivations and needs; has a basic understanding of how Medtronic CRM products and solutions offer value to the customer

• Assists with obtaining customer POs throughout the quarter

• Has a basic understanding of the competitive landscape

• Independently identifies customer needs and opportunities and provides feedback to Sales Rep(s) to support sales objectives

• Ongoing Technical Development

MUST HAVE - BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

The Sr. Closure Sales Specialist position, reporting directly to the Area Sales Manager, is responsible for meeting and exceeding sales goals by advancing high quality medical supplies such as Sutures and Topical Skin Adhesives; utilizing a solution based concept sale to the hospital marketplace within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Discover customer priorities through current state assessment to determine pain points, economics, quality of care issues, staff morale and beyond.

• Effectively build an account plan which incorporates consolidated account-level data on sales, short term and medium term goals and customer mapping with VAC members and other stakeholders.

• Demonstrate ability to go broad with a value analysis committee (VAC) or similar personnel by sharing a mix of both economic and clinical messaging with key decision makers.

• Use Salesforce.com and Cognos to research account data, capture key finding about VAC members and input pertinent business data to allow for accurate forecasting.

• Convert product's technical features and benefits into financial/safety related messages per relevant audience.

• Identify, prioritize and recruit potential clinical and economic champions according to relevant criteria. Prepare champions for VAC meetings.

• Build rationale for a clinical evaluation with key decision-makers so that the evaluations are expected to succeed an intended primarily to demonstrate clinical acceptability.

• Identify opportunities to efficiently deliver hands-on training outside of the OR and selectively prioritize opportunities to be physically present during product use.

• Develop pre-call plans for quarterly reviews with customers: defining data to share, issues to discuss and agreements/action plans to pursue.

• Collaborate and invite colleagues from other COTs to join at appropriate discussion points with customer to drive cross-portfolio sales.

• Meet and exceed assigned quota and sales objectives including assigned quota uplift.

• Utilize technology and data to analyze territory, effectively target accounts and pre-call planning.

• Organize and maintain storage locker, samples and other sales material.

• Maintain knowledge of the current industry / competitive landscape including, GPO's, healthcare economics, reimbursement, competitors and competitive products etc.

• Interact with Marketing, Customer Service, and other internal departments.

• Resolve customer complaints in accordance with Company policy, and advises sales management promptly of any situation beyond the Sales Representative's

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Promotes and sells Medtronic's Medical/Scientific Equipment products and services including non-implantable medical or scientific equipment products and/or services (e.g., diagnostic medical equipment, medical imaging machines, medical laboratory equipment, and non-implantable medical devices) within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.

• Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including hospitals, physicians, and Radiology and Surgical personnel.

Qualifications - External

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors degree required

• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience and working knowledge of company products and services

Nice to Have

• Minimum of three years of documented outside sales success in a competitive, sophisticated environment, preferably tangible products (i.e. office equipment, copiers, payroll systems, information systems)

• Evidence of top sales achievement with experience in multilevel account management is required.

The Regulatory Affairs Specialist (RAS) is responsible for collaborating, planning and executing regulatory activities related to modifications of the Lung Health product portfolio. Activities include support of regulatory assessments for United States (US) and European Union (EU) products, supporting EU MDR implementation, and supporting international submission requests. This position is most suited for individuals with working knowledge and experience of regulatory requirements for the total life cycle of medical devices. The initial project scope for this employee will be related to regulatory sustaining activities. New product development activities may be tied into the role later on.

Location: Strong preference to have candidates work hybrid from Plymouth, MN. Remote within the U.S. may be considered for the right candidate.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Provide strategic input and technical guidance on regulatory requirements for new technologies and product modifications, considering both domestic and international regulations

• Prepare 510(k) submissions and technical documents to support CE mark and other international submissions

• Support international product registrations as needed

• Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks on day-by-day basis to meet project schedules

• Interface with engineering, quality, clinical, marketing, and other functions as needed to fulfill responsibilities

• Maintain current regulatory knowledge of domestic and international regulations, guidelines, and standards

• Create or revise departmental procedures to improve operations or to reflect changing regulatory requirements

• Participate in internal and external audits as needed

• Maintain Regulatory Affairs documentation to support compliance with applicable regulatory requirements

• Coordinate and prepare document packages for regulatory submissions from all areas of company, internal audits, and inspections

• Directs or performs coordination and preparation of document packages for regulatory submissions from all areas of company, internal audits and inspections.

• Leads or compiles all materials required in submissions, license renewal and annual registrations.

• May direct interaction with regulatory agencies on defined matters.

• Keeps abreast of regulatory procedures and changes.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in regulatory, legal, quality, biomedical engineering, clinical, medical, or vigilance.

OR

• An advanced degree with 0+ years of experience in regulatory, legal, quality, biomedical engineering, clinical, medical, or vigilance.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of medical device regulatory affairs experience

• Interpersonal, analytical, technical writing, and organizational skills

• Prior experience working with Class II products (US) and Class I, IIa, and IIb products (EU)

• Experience authoring or assisting with regulatory submissions (e.g., 510(k), EU Design Dossier and/or Technical Documentation)

• Working knowledge of FDA requirements, guidance documents, Medical Device Directive (93/42/EEC), Medical Device Regulation (EU 2017/745), ISO 14971, ISO 13485, and other global regulatory requirements and quality standards

• Advertising and promotional material review experience

• Define guidelines for writing manual tests and implement coding practices for automated tests.

• Coordinate technical discussions and problem solving for software projects and collaborate with cross functional teams.

• Coach other engineers on best practices and new technologies and review test designs and test scripts.

• You will be a key interface between the software test team and other cross functional teams. You will provide timely reports for verification activities to the management.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Tests the functionality and performance of software applications or systems software.

• Develops and executes test plans and scripts designed to detect problems in software applications and systems software.

• Ensures software applications or systems software meets technical and functional requirements.

• Performs workflow analysis, documents test results and recommends quality improvements.

• Works with development to resolve software defects and diagnose/improve product configuration for current and future models.

• Reviews test automation frameworks, tools, techniques, and methodologies .

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors degree required inComputer Science, Electrical Engineering or related Engineering or Sciences field

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience

Nice to Have:

• Experience in at least one of the programing language. i.e. Java, C, C++,python using Embedded development environment.

• Experience on both white box and black box testing.

• Solid hands on with Automated, semi-automated & manual testing

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Operate central plant equipment/systems (air compressors, compressed air dryers, air handlers, pumps, etc.).

• Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC issues, take proper corrective action.

• Be available 24x7 during their on-call period.

• Work with key business partners during unplanned business interruption.

• Receive and review building automation alarms - take appropriate action.

• Field calls/questions from Maintenance regarding facility issues and determine impact to the business, steps that need to be taken, repairs required, communication required, etc., to maintain safe and functioning facilities.

• Provide work direction to maintenance mechanics and service providers.

• Operate building automation system, generate reports.

• Adhere to operational policies and procedures, meet all safety requirements.

• Complete all preventive and corrective maintenance based on due dates and scheduled dates.

• Coordinate and monitor sub-contracted maintenance activity for completion and accuracy.

• Perform routine lubrication, inspection, adjustments, cleaning, and replacement of consumable materials.

• Perform additional duties as requested to ensure the continued effective and efficient operation of facility systems.

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

• Ability to work on and use of ladders

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED

• Requires minimum of 8 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.

Senior Principal Mechanical Design Engineer

As a Senior Principal Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for providing key technical expertise and some leadership within the Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS) Engineering organization. This role is focused on product development, continuous improvement, and released product engineering activities related to the HeartWareTM HVADTM System (HeartWare Ventricular Assist Device).

The Mechanical Circulatory Support Operating Unit is responsible for Medtronic's heart pump program. Called the HeartWareTM HVADTM System, this business provides a left ventricular assist device (LVAD) that helps patients' hearts pump and increases the amount of blood that circulates through their bodies. The HVAD System features the world's smallest centrifugal flow pump.

This position is in Miami Lakes, FL. within the Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS) operating unit and requires on-site presence three days a week minimum, with additional on-site presence as required.

A Day in the Life

In general, the following responsibilities apply for the Senior Principal Mechanical Design Engineer role. This includes, but is not limited to the following:

• Development of new mechanical and electromechanical systems, subsystems, and components.

• Lead design activities on assigned projects in collaboration with or supervision of other department engineers. Interface with customers during exchange of technical information. Responsible for guiding/leading engineers to ensure design practices are used consistently. Supervise and direct Design Engineers and Senior Engineers. Ensure design standards are met and/or applied. Define design standards where applicable.

• Subject Matter Expert - Provide technical expertise to other departments, i.e. Manufacturing, Marketing, Regulatory, Quality Assurance, Program Management, etc. Support development testing and failure investigation of legacy and new products.

• Work with Manufacturing Process Engineering, and Quality Assurance Engineering to lead design engineering team through design changes required to maintain product supply, including verification and implementation phases. Support Manufacturing engineering, Production and Quality Assurance though production or supplier issues.

• Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Creates formal networks involving coordination among groups.

• Design Engineering liaison to vendors in procurement of components, subassemblies and contract services. Develop project documentation within the scope of Design Controls for the design and development of heart assist pump projects. Develop project schedules and identify resource requirements to meet continuity of supply objectives.

• Work closely with Regulatory Affairs for submissions to appropriate worldwide regulatory agencies as part of Implementation phase.

• Work with technical staff, Quality Assurance, Clinical Affairs and Regulatory in the development of Risk Management process as part of the change/improvement process.

• Mentoring and supervision of less-experienced engineers

• Design, document, assemble and test precision prototype and production fixturing.

• Assist in the design and development, and perform sustaining engineering, of various mechanical and electromechanical components used in Medtronic MCS products.

• Assist with bench testing of assemblies and parts to ensure performance.

• Maintain top level engineering documentation.

• Perform design characterization and design validation testing.

• Write protocols & reports.

Qualifications

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or biomedical engineering, science, or related technical discipline

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in product development of medical devices or advanced degree in mechanical or biomedical engineering, science, or technical field with 8+ years of relevant work experience

Nice to Have

• 10+ years of engineering experience within the medical device industry

• Advanced understanding of FDA design controls, quality system regulations, failure investigation process and methodologies

• Advanced Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) knowledge of the HeartWareTM HVADTM System

• PC application skills: solid modeling (SolidWorks), MS Project, EXCEL, Word, Minitab, Agile PLM

• Advanced understanding and application of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)

• Advanced understanding of Risk Management Process

• Advanced understanding of Design-for-Manufacturability (DFM), Design-for-Assembly (DFA), and Medtronic Design for Reliability and Manufacturability (DRM)

• Project management and organizational skills

• Strong written and oral communication skills (timely, clear, concise, accurate, conclusive, influential, targeted to audience)

As a Principal Training & Education Specialist - ENT , you will be a key member of a team that trains over a thousand HCPs annually on Medtronic ENT's products. Your role will specifically support the training events for hands-on workshops held throughout the country. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality experiences for our ENT customers.

• Contribute to the development and execution of ENT customer training programs (including ENT medical education courses/workshops, resident & fellow's courses, CRS & H&N OR personnel trainings).

• Assist with the strategic development, planning, and continuous improvement of Med Ed programs for ENT surgeons and staff.

• Work with Marketing, Sales Training, and other relevant cross-functional partners to ensure the content is relevant, innovative, compliant, and interactive whether for in-person or virtual programs.

• Obtains information needed to prepare training programs; prepares training materials; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids.

• Maintains communication with customers to ensure effectiveness of training.

• May utilize trainers with technical expertise and leading hands-on trainings and being comfortable working within bioskills lab environment with cadaveric tissue.

• Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.

• Work independently with direction from manager, and functional or technical experts.

• Ability to travel up to 50%

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors degree required

• 7 years' experience in a Marketing, Medical or Clinical Education, Professional Training, Technical role or advanced degree with 5 years' experience

Nice to Have

• Program management experience, organizational skillset, and ability to meet timelines.

• Previous clinical education experience with ENT Navigation and Nerve Monitoring.

• Experience training ENT, Head, Neck or Otology Surgeons and related HCPs.

• Experience in supporting or planning Medical Education programs for medical device industry.

• Ability to work self-directed, independently as well as to collaborate on key issues.

A Day in the Life

In this exciting role as the R&D Engineer II, you will work collaboratively with a team to design, develop and launch medical devices as well as support existing products.

Responsibilities include providing engineering knowledge to work with new product development teams, design of medical devices, as well as successful completion of the product development process. The Director of Systems Solutions leads a cross-functional, interdisciplinary team of system, product, and clinical engineering as well as user experience (UX) and human factors engineering (HFE). Across these functions, the director champions system thinking and customer-centric design for the entire Neuromodulation business. Together this organization and engineering management focus on the system design, integration, validation and management of complex systems over their product lifecycle. This includes integrating cross functional stakeholder inputs including technical, scientific, reliability, cost, and clinical subjects.

This leader is responsible for assessing and integrating state-of-the-art systems engineering, including digital systems, and customer-centric design skills as well as establishment of functional best practices into the Neuromodulation (NM) Operating Unit. They will lead and inspire the technical teams to achieve excellence in architectural design, requirements definition, and management through driving best practices in effective flow down of requirements and the team's management of system interfaces with partner organizations, including hardware, software, and firmware teams. By empowering the team in implementation, journey mapping, user experience research, and UI design, the Director will ensure a cohesive and user-centric approach. Additionally, they will oversee technical leaders that identify and mitigate product risks from concept through delivery, establish system-level roadmaps that address all stakeholder requirements, including technology, markets, and reimbursement. Concept & Architecture:

Collaborate with Upstream marketing to create strategic direction for technology and platform architecture to ensure superiorityin all the Neuromodulation eco- systems.

Integrate scientific foundations, technologic opportunities and product aspirations into a coordinated and achievable new product pipeline.

Collaborate with a network of clinicians and field representatives to support and advise on direction and decisions.

Monitor, collaborate and influence strategic direction and operational decisions, priorities and issues associated with NM technology and products in our internal partner organizations of Medtronic Energy and Component Center, MTC, etc as well as other areas of expertise and interdependence as they emerge over time.

Maintain effective communication with the business sector leadership team, team members and functional leadership in all activities required to design, develop anddeliver the product successfully.

Human-Centered Design:

Champion an evidence-guided, customer-centered, especially patient-centered, approach in all design solutions

Drive adoption and growth of UX best practices and thinking throughout the organization while maintaining excellence in HF and quality compliance aspects of usability

Systems Development:

Ensure thorough and complete architectural design and requirements specifications for all products (therapy delivery systems, devices, programmers, digital systems and accessories) in the product line. Manage the system interfaces with partners organizations such as hardware, software, firmware and IT.

Ensure technology is leveraged across the entire product line to achieve efficiency and effective implementation.

System Integration, Verification & Validation:

Maintain and grow the strong competency in system integration, systems verification and validation.

Drive system integration to burn down execution risk.

Define system verification approaches to ensure quality coverage and efficiencies with NM R&D verification testing organizations.

Develop test automation skills and competency within the systems engineering function.

Partner with customers, patients, and field force to bring real-world experience into system validation.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelors degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences

Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience , or Advanced Degree with a minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, minimum of 7+ years of managerial experience

Nice to Have

Medical device experience (Class I, II or III)

5+ years of pertinent-level management experience with responsibility for strategic and tactical management of a complex medical device technology and product pipeline

Demonstrated experience in engineering disciplines including electrical, mechanical, biomedical, software, UI/UX design, industrial design, and human factors.

Demonstrated comfort with basic sciences such as biology, physiology and anatomy, the physical sciences including physics and chemistry

Provide technical, clinical and sales support, in collaboration with the sales team, within the region or assigned territory in support of the launch and adoption of the EP mapping and navigation system (Affera) and all products within the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) business. Collaborates with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to develop and execute on short-and long-term strategies, including the growth of the mapping and navigation system. Primary Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and all CAS products.

• Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to CAS products and related procedures.

• Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures.

• Understand and support national, regional and territory sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals within all CAS products.

• Develop and cultivate customer relationships resulting in incremental business.

• Collaborate and strategize with local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and other CA Solutions products.

• Serve as a regional champion to share your experience and influence others to be proficient in the mapping technology.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma PLUS a minimum of 8 years of work experience incardiac mapping and navigation. OR

• Associate degree PLUS a minimum of 6 years of work experience incardiac mapping and navigation. OR

• Bachelor degree plus a minimum of 4 years of work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.

Preferred Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. Degree in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or technical discipline with minimum of four years work experience in cardiac field, hospital/clinic or sales.

• Proven track record with technical training assignments.

• Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, in a hospital/clinic or EP medical sales providing technical / clinical support.

• Ability to travel more than 75% of the time

• Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy. In addition, your driving record will be reviewed and will be considered as part of your application

A Day in the Life

• Creation of work orders to support production based on schedule provided.

• Printing of orders from in house system

• Formation of workbook orders to support manufacturing

• Supports production coordinator II with manufacturing scheduling

• Compiles records concerning quantity, cost, and type of material received, shipped, in stock or inventory, and/or in production when required.

• Assists in determining possible and actual shortages.

• May initiate action to correct these deficiencies.

• Maintains schedules for material requirements and availability for the manufacture of industrial and commercial products to support production control.

• Compiles records concerning quantity, cost, and type of material received, shipped, in stock or inventory, and/or in production.

• Expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules.

• Assists in determining possible and actual shortages.

• May initiate action to correct these deficiencies.

• Uses knowledge of production, procurement, and engineering departments to alert proper authorities regarding potential problems and appropriate remedial action.

• Estimates and logs production rate and time expenditures and may be required to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

To grow sales and market share for an assigned territory by promoting, selling and servicing Peripheral Vascular products. Build business by aggressively developing new accounts and driving therapy adoption of DCB, Atherectomy, and the full PV product portfolio across the continuum of care for PAD. Practice good, ethical territory management in terms of organization, planning, administration and expense planning and control. Train medical staff on products and procedures. Meet expectations as defined by Sales Management.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Planning/Results Orientation

• Consistently meet and exceed AOP, sales budget and account development targets (QoQ and YoY)

• Develops and executes accurate and on-going sales plan to achieve sales objectives

• Maintains and consistently grows market share across all product lines

• Identify opportunities within current and new customer base; develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and account penetration

• Leverage the full product portfolio to maximize sales and share performance

• Monitors key market trends and competitive market information and informs sales management of relevant data/changes

• Ensure maximum coverage of all accounts within territory geographic areas to maintainoptimum level of exposure and effective time management

• Influence and Selling

• Communicate market intelligence/competitor activity promptly, including potential sales leads, information regarding product pricing or account activity to District Sales Manager and other appropriate company personnel

• Self-Development and Product Knowledge

• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical/clinical knowledge and capabilities

• Recognize and understand competitive products, features, strengths in relation to the company's products

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME

• Bachelor's degree, AND

• 5+ years of B2B sales or healthcare sales experience

OR

• 5 years total sales experience with a minimum of 2 years of Medtronic sales experience (Bachelor's Degree Required)

DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (optional) :

• Sales experience in medical devices, capital equipment sales, surgical sales & in-hospital pharmaceuticals

• Degree in biological science or business preferred

• Must be able to meet hospital vendor credentialing requirements

• Business planning skills

• Presentation skills

• Demonstrated ability to work independently & drive results

• Must be willing to travel, some overnight potentially required

• Knowledge & experience in operating room, hospital & physician office protocol/conduct
