A Day in the Life

Team is working hybrid and position will be onsite 2 days/week in Fridley, MN.

We are looking for a Principal IT Auditor that will be an individual contributor within the Corporate Audit team. Our Principal IT Auditor leads the execution of large and higher risk department projects (IT Operational audits, Advisory Reviews, along with integrated audit projects with the Finance & Operations team) with limited oversight from management.

• Executes individual work, and oversees the work of others, while exhibiting an awareness and ability to connect work to department and business initiatives.

• Performs IT audit projects and integrated audits in accordance with department standard operating procedures, as well as International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.

• Collaborates with others in the Global Audit Department and across the business and IT functions.

• Initiates meetings, prepare materials, and lead meetings, including higher stake meetings with Medtronic business partners (e.g., audit kick-off, closing, deficiency discussions, etc.), Medtronic executives (i.e., risk assessment meetings), and external stakeholders (i.e., external auditors, external consultants, etc.).

• Leads significant, complex, and unique audit projects through all stages of the audit process (scoping, planning, fieldwork, and reporting). Identify and evaluate Medtronic controls for gaps and opportunities, propose solutions, and partner with management to determine remediation.

• Drives audit planning and scoping, tailor audit steps to the risk assessment, update management on project status, and coordinate project tasks.

• Delegates work thoughtfully. Perform meaningful review and provide feedback of work delegated.

• Leads a global initiative for the Corporate Audit function, resulting in improved engagement, innovation, or inclusion.

• Develops risk-based audit programs for new or emerging risks.

• Manages multiple projects at the same time, including operating in an organized manner, maintaining an open items list, following up timely with business partners, and escalating issues and open items timely.

• Coaches team members in support of the audit process, technology, and department operations. This includes providing timely reviews, feedback and assisting them in meeting their own job requirements.

• Works independently, with moderate oversight, as well as collaboratively as part of team.

• Understands the Medtronic and Audit mission to drive innovation, accelerate change, and embrace diversity and inclusion. Individuals will set challenging goals, enable operational excellence, maintain accountability, and model ethical behavior.

• Develops risk-based audit programs for new or emerging risks.

• Influences the dynamic audit plan and continuous risk assessment process. Works closely with internal and external stakeholders on risk assessment; gather and analyze data to support risk assessment decisions.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years of work experience in audit, financial, or internal controls (Advanced Degree with 5+ years)

Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications)

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study (e.g., computer science, information security, management information systems, or accounting).

• Public Accounting (preferably Big 4) experience, or IT audit experience within a corporate internal audit department.

• Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)

• Understand IT systems and infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, databases, and cybersecurity.

• Achievement or professional certification, such as an MBA, CPA, CISA CIA, and/or CISSP (if not currently certified, candidate must commit to certification within a defined timeframe).

• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices, such as COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, and NIST frameworks.

• Experience leading and supervising audits.

A Day in the Life

Medtronic is seeking an experienced Territory Manager (TM) to manage territory base business and growth by promoting, selling, supporting Medtronic Diabetes products and services. The Territory Manager will report directly to their assigned District Manager.

This is a field based position that will support our Chapel Hill Territory. A majority of the accounts are in Chapel Hill but the territory also includes Fayetteville and Durham. This does not include Raleigh, NC. The expectation is to be in the field 5 days/week.

• Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Conduct sales calls to promote, sell, and service Medtronic Diabetes products and services to existing and potential physicians and patients.

• Implement quarterly sales plan to achieve sales goals and objectives.

• Collaborate with Clinical Territory Managers and or Diabetes Clinical Educators to educate physicians, nurses, educators, and other referral sources regarding the importance of intensive diabetes management and continuous glucose monitoring for patients with diabetes.

• Work directly with patients.

• Provide product and therapy technical support and service, including consultation at staff in-services and physician seminars.

• Fiscally manage territory by controlling expenses, product returns, and product inventory.

• Build and maintain relationships with referral sources to establish a solid base of business.

• Assist in establishing the company as the leader in diabetes products in the community by participating in community organizations such as local chapters of ADA (American Diabetes Association), AADE (American Association of Diabetes Educators), JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) and patient support groups

• Coordinate daily support activities and customer activities at meetings as assigned.

• Complete administrative reporting as assigned.

• Utilize approved sales collateral to support promotional and territorial needs.

• Partner with cross-functional teams and internal resources.

• Promotes and sells Medtronic's Diabetes products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.

• Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including physicians, clinicians, specialists, diabetes educators, health service stakeholders and other non-clinical buyers.

• Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's Diabetes products and/or services.

• Promotes and establishes physician and account education of the company's products and/or services.

• Conducts market research including customers and competitors activities.

• Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.

• Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Nice to Have

• Field Sales experience highly preferred.

• Prior medical device, business to business or pharmaceutical sales experience highly preferred.

• Previous sales award recipient due to strong sales performance (i.e. President's Club, Rookie of the Year).

• Strong data analysis, evaluation and problem solving skills.

A Day in the Life

Provide technical, clinical and sales support, in collaboration with the sales team, within the region or assigned territory in support of the launch and adoption of the EP mapping and navigation system (Affera) and all products within the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) business. Collaborates with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to develop and execute on short-and long-term strategies, including the growth of the mapping and navigation system. Overall technical, clinical and educational support for the assigned territory.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and all CAS products.

• Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to CAS products and related procedures.

• Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures.

• Understand and support national, regional and territory sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals within all CAS products.

• Develop and cultivate customer relationships resulting in incremental business.

• Work in partnership with Account Manager, Regional Manager and Area Directors to identify potential sales opportunities.

• Collaborate and strategize with local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and other CA Solutions products.

• Collaborate and communicate with the sales and clinical teams in the region.

• Serves as an effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic CAS products, service and support.

• Serve as a regional champion to share your experience and influence others to be proficient in the mapping technology.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma PLUS a minimum of 8 years of work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation. OR

• Associate degree PLUS a minimum of 6 years of work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation. OR

• Bachelor degree PLUS a minimum of 4 years of work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.

Preferred Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. Degree in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or technical discipline with minimum of four years work experience in cardiac field, hospital/clinic or sales.

• Proven track record with technical training assignments.

• Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, in a hospital/clinic or EP medical sales providing technical / clinical support.

• Ability to travel more than 25% of the time

• Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy. In addition, your driving record will be reviewed and will be considered as part of your application

A Market Sales Representative is expected to achieve annual sales objectives through selling and supporting the Company's advanced surgical and energy-based products, while representing Medtronic to the customer in accordance with Company policies and AdvaMed guidelines. Market Sales Representatives develop clinical and administrative relationships in assigned accounts and formulate a "defend" territory strategy, accounting for competitive pressures and local market conditions. • Achieve all territory sales objectives annually in alignment with the business strategy and annual compensation plan.

Economic Selling Functions

• Integrate economic value messages into sales proposal where appropriate.

• Research general account context to understand hospital economics and all key issues at major accounts.

• Display and leverage strong knowledge of accounts, purchasing process/buying cycle, and protocols.

In this exciting role as a Reliability Engineer, you will have responsibility for risk management within the Cardiac Surgery Quality Team, with accountability to support DFMEA, risk analysis, test method validation, and design verification testing.

Cardiac surgery represents end-state treatment in the care continuum for many cardiovascular diseases. There are approximately 1.8 million cardiac surgical procedures in the world on an annual basis. Cardiac surgery remains extremely important in treating complex disease and remains the gold standard on which many of the other therapies being developed in Cardiovascular are based upon.

Responsibilities:

• Develops, coordinates and conducts technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts and design of experiments (DOE) constructs.

• Recommends design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability.

• Completes risk analysis studies of new design and processes.

• Compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics; investigates and analyzes relevant variables potentially affecting product and processes.

• Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards.

• Analyzes preliminary plans and develops reliability engineering programs to achieve company, customer and governmental agency reliability objectives.

• May develop mathematical models to identify units, batches or processes posing excessive failure risks.

• As necessary, proposes changes in design or formulation to improve system and/or process reliability.

• May determine units and/or batches requiring environmental testing and specifies minimum number of samples to obtain statistically valid data.

• Responsible for executing test method validation.

The Senior Product Security Engineer is instrumental in ensuring the robust security of our Surgical OU medical device products and solutions. Reporting directly to the Director of Product Security, this pivotal role spearheads the integration of state-of-the-art security measures, identifies potential vulnerabilities, and champions initiatives to bolster cyber-resiliency throughout the product's life cycle. A profound understanding of regulated embedded devices, environments that underpin client-facing medical device solutions, and adherence to product security compliance frameworks is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Security Strategy & Continuous Learning - Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with emerging cybersecurity trends and threats related to medical devices and health software products. Contribute to the development and refinement of product security strategies within the Operating Unit (OU), ensuring alignment with established industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with senior team members to implement security measures and continuously improve product security processes.

Product Security - Support and lead integration of security into the product development lifecycle, ensuring that security considerations are incorporated from design to deployment. Assist in implementing security measures across medical devices, OT, ICS, IoT, and enterprise security processes/standards. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure security is a core part of the product design and development process.

Risk Assessment - Conduct threat modeling, security risk evaluations, and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential security risks throughout the product lifecycle. Security Standards & Testing - Assist in maintaining and implementing security standards, policies, and procedures for medical device systems and product development. Contribute to security testing activities, including vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and code reviews. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to security standards and participate in evaluating testing results to identify and address security vulnerabilities. Security Awareness - Contribute to promoting security awareness and assist in delivering training across cross-functional product development teams. • Prepare and publish daily, monthly, quarterly scorecards to track metrics for all sales organization roles using PBI

• Partners with IT, finance to strategize and plan annual system requirements and monitor progress towards completion

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

As a Principal R&D Product Lead, you will help guide the direction for new product features and enhancements through a human-centered design approach in the Customer Centered Design team at Medtronic Diabetes. You will use your strategic, creative, and technical expertise to lead the planning of deep and meaningful product experiences that impact our customers, our business, and our technologies. You will seek to understand the customer personas, their key use cases, and maintain focus on the key feature differentiators that will satisfy and delight the customer. These product solutions are designed for patients, HCPs and caregivers. This role will work closely with the Voice of Customer team, User Experience Designers and Researchers, Software Developers, Systems Engineers, Human Factors Engineers, Business Analysts, Marketing, and other core team members to incorporate human-centered product and service design thinking and innovation. You will support bridging new technologies with customer needs in our product development process and activities from early ideation all the way through transition to development. The role will collaborate with the core teams on high impact initiatives to create innovative health care solutions that address the core needs of all our customers and users.

You will help drive design sprints through a human-centered design process, guiding sprint teams to frame design challenges, collaborate on ideas, develop prototypes and test them.

The output of your work will provide a fluid transfer into development by building clarity of the higher level purpose and vision of the potential value in commercialization.

The publications team, a part of the SH&A Medical Science Team, is responsible for global evidence dissemination from Medtronic-sponsored clinical trials and registry data. The team supports the development of manuscripts, abstracts, and podium presentations. Medical science writers in this role work closely with Principal Investigators and internal team members from the clinical study team, statistics, physician relations, and clinical leadership. The ideal candidate for this position is experienced in writing and editing manuscripts at a medical device company (preferred) or other industry, with knowledge in structural heart disease, cardiology, and medical devices. Additionally, relevant medical writing certification (AMWA, CMPP, etc) and familiarity with pertinent writing guidelines (ICMJE, AMA, GPP, etc) is strongly desired.

The Principal Medical Science Writer is responsible for the preparation of documents that support the presentation and publication needs of assigned therapeutic areas and/or products in the Structural Heart & Aortic Operating Unit.

This is a remote position and candidates can be located anywhere in the United States.

Ability to travel up to 25%.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Writes, edits, and formats manuscripts and abstracts in collaboration with lead authors

• Prepares congress presentations (oral or poster) for accepted abstracts

• Compiles, analyzes, and summarizes data for each writing project

• Conducts literature searches as needed for new publications

• Develops an in-depth knowledge of key therapy and product areas, stays abreast of current literature

• Collaborates with physicians, clinical and statistics teams to plan and identify appropriate analysis plans

Aortic Products / Pathologies

Aortic Stent Grafts are a mini-invasive option to treat Aortic pathologies such as AAA (Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm), or TAA (Thoracic Aorta Aneurysm). An aneurysm is the bulging or ballooning of a weakened area of a blood vessel. The wall of the aorta can become weak due to age, disease, or trauma. This may cause the aortic wall to bulge and, as this grows, the wall of the aorta becomes weaker. This may cause the aorta to rupture and lead to massive internal bleeding. An aneurysm rupture can cause death and needs immediate medical attention. Through state-of-the-art technology and devices we prevent this, extending lives of fragile patients.

As a Senior Marketing Specialist for Aortic US Downstream Marketing, you will be work across the entire portfolio of Abdominal, Thoracic, and Ancillary product lines within Medtronic's Aortic division in the United States. This role is centered on a deep understanding of the Aortic market in the US and a focused, targeted approach to leverage our tools and tactics with US customers to strengthen Medtronic Aortic's presence and share in the US.

• In your role as Sr Marketing Specialist, you will provide sales teams with effective technical and promotional support to contribute to sales goals. You will contribute to the development, elaboration and monitoring of the execution of the marketing plan in the US in line with the global marketing strategy and the results and profitability objectives of the division.

• In your market development activities, you will work with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and scientific societies to collect feedback on our products, therapies, services, and all engagement activities to ensure we are always keeping up with the needs of our customers.

• You will report to the Sr. Group Manager for the US Downstream Marketing Team and work closely with the US field team including all levels of management.

• You will become a subject matter expert (SME) for the US Aortic Market including customer needs, competitive dynamics, Medtronic Aortic portfolio positioning and messaging, targeting, segmentation, tracking and measuring impact, and effective engagement strategies. You will act directly or indirectly with all the major customers in the US market: Vascular Surgeons, Interventionalists, Providers, Purchasers, and Payers.

• Design, build, and maintain the architecture of our cloud-based infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security for our medical device applications, including but not limited to Ignition, PostgreSQL, HiveMQ, Qlik, Confluent Kafka, and Tanzu.

Provide technical, educational, operational and sales support to assist the district in meeting Cardiac Rhythm Management sales and customer service objectives. CRM seeks collaborative candidates who will meet our customer expectations by striving without reserve for the greatest possible reliability and quality in our products, processes and systems by being accountable, having a voice and taking action.

Clinical Specialists are required to be within their assigned territory each day to be available as unscheduled needs arise. CS's are required to work a number of weekends and holidays during the quarter, as determined by local management. Weeknight call coverage is the primary responsibility of the Sales Rep, however, at times, business and/or geographical needs require a CS to be scheduled for weeknight coverage as approved by regional management.

A DAY IN THE LIFE - POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technical Support

• Successfully completes CRM Field Technical Training - including online and field-based training

• Performs checks/interrogations of all CRM medical device systems post sign-off

• Supports implants of all CRM products post sign-off

• Provides on-call support as needed on evenings and weekends post sign-off

• Provide troubleshooting support as requested

Operational Support

• Assures completion of patient registration and any other required hospital documentation

• Helps manage consignment inventory and trunk inventory once obtained

• Provides additional inventory support to meet customer needs

• Maintains software on programmers throughout the district as directed

• Assists with managing daily coverage logistics as needed

Educational Support

• Educates and trains physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on products or solutions for which training has been completed

• Assists with educating and training new Clinical Specialists and Sales Representatives post sign-off

Sales Support

• Partners with DSM, Sales Reps and DM to learn market dynamics and local customer motivations and needs; has a basic understanding of how Medtronic CRM products and solutions offer value to the customer

• Assists with obtaining customer POs throughout the quarter

• Has a basic understanding of the competitive landscape

• Independently identifies customer needs and opportunities and provides feedback to Sales Rep(s) to support sales objectives

Ongoing Technical Development

• Stays up to date on new products, solutions, and patient management offerings

MUST HAVE - MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

The Medtronic Diabetes organization is looking for a part-time Software Product Owner to join our Software Operations Organization to in the defining of priorities for evolving our Shared Services platform as a product by balancing the inputs from internal and external stakeholders.

The Product Owner will work as the technical liaison between the platform team and the customers of the platform including software developers, operations teams, and other business customers. This role is ultimately responsible for defining the -What- and the -Why- for work direction at the team level to maximize value of the platform to the business and customers.

In general, the following responsibilities apply for thepart time Software Product Ownerrole. This includes, but is not limited to the following:

• Supports 1 - 2 scrum teams focused on a common identity or capability

• Responsible for building and grooming product backlog, including writing epics, features, and stories for shared understanding and execution

• Writes and collects input for acceptance criteria at the user story level

• Work in lockstep with software development teams, Scrum Masters, and delivery leaders to ensure priorities are clear, backlogs are executable, and messages to stakeholders are aligned

• Partners closely with the following to evolve product: Architect, DevOps Engineers, Technical Component Owner, Technical Leads, Software Developers, Testers, Scrum Master, etc.

• Active change agent within the Software Operations and Software Development organization, helping the team(s) and the broader organization assimilate to change

• Syncs regularly with product owners from related capabilities and products to ensure cohesive customer experience across a product space

• Partners with platform customers and development teams to ensure platform releases are communicated effectively to understand features and dependencies of the updates for successful use by the customer.

• Product Advocate:

• Accountable for a product's impact on software developers, testers, customers, users, and Medtronic

• Establishes and drives toward key performance indicators (KPIs) of the platform including SLOs, and SLAs.

• Sources intake from the Architects, DevOps Engineers, Software Developers, Scrum Masters, Product Management, and other sources

• Leads a shared understanding of- What- we should build and be able to justify -Why- through discussion and documentation

• Extends shared understanding with the scrum teams who will be executing

• Play a critical role in sprint demos by utilizing it as a feedback loop for validation of intended impact - should be asking most of the questions to people outside the team

• Ensures all work is tested for quality, configured for observability, and documented for customer enablement from internal operations to the software development teams and enables the same at the customer levels

• Makes the decision on when enough value has been created to release

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Design, build, and maintain the architecture of our cloud-based infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security for our medical device applications, including but not limited to Ignition, PostgreSQL, HiveMQ, Qlik, Confluent Kafka, and Tanzu.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement best practices for container orchestration and management, with a specific focus on Kubernetes.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment and testing of applications and infrastructure changes, utilizing tools such as Tanzu, Confluent Kafka, and others as needed.

• Manage and maintain the repository of infrastructure as code, ensuring proper version control and documentation, with a specific focus on the specified applications.

• Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying and resolving potential issues to ensure optimal reliability and performance for the specified applications.

• Design, build, and maintain the architecture of our cloud-based infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security for our medical device applications, including but not limited to Ignition, PostgreSQL, HiveMQ, Qlik, Confluent Kafka, and Tanzu.

We are currently looking for an experienced Calibration / Metrology Technician for our Fridley, Minnesota location. Working within the Cardiac Rhythm and Heart Failure unit, this role will provide Physical/Dimensional calibration and repair of test and measurement equipment in research, development, and manufacturing environments.

As a Calibration / Metrology Technician II, you will perform job functions under limited supervision in the laboratory, production area, clean room, and test environments.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Perform calibrations and measurements traceable to NIST and the International System of Units (SI) using appropriately maintained reference standards.Test, inspection, and measurement equipment range from general-purpose physical and dimensional equipment to custom built sterilizer systems. Disciplines comprise: Mass, Temperature, Humidity, Vacuum, Length, Optics, Conductivity, Pressure, Dimensional Metrology, Force, Torque, Flow, plus more.

• Create and modify calibration procedures by determining metrology requirements from manufacturer's manuals, laboratory methods, system requirements, or other approved documentation.

• Interact with equipment owning engineers and technicians to schedule calibration activities, provide guidance related to selection of test and measurement equipment, and lead others in following appropriate documented procedures in place for the Metrology department.

• Place a strong focus on attention to detail while properly documenting calibration results into the calibration tracking database using validated templates or test point grids.As appropriate, issue Out of Tolerance (OOT) or Non-conformance (NC) reports.

• Work with data acquisition and validation equipment, (e.g. process control equipment/controllers, chart recorders, DC Analog/Signal Conditioners, and transducers).

• Troubleshoot, inspect, and adjust/repair test and measurement equipment in support of new and existing projects.

• Provide in-lab and on-site calibration support for equipment that is either too sensitive to move or is too large and not feasible to relocate.

• Work overtime when necessary to support high priority requests or meet project goals.

• Provide direction or training to lower-level technicians.

• May require travel to other Medtronic site locations up 30 miles.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of two years of electronic or physical calibration-related technical school training (60 semester credits) to preferably include metrology and calibration, or equivalent military education such as PMEL or like training

• Strong math and physics background

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) and Windows OS

• Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing techniques interpreting blueprints

• Experience with MS Excel spreadsheet template development and validation testing

• Knowledge of calibration and measurement principles:measurement uncertainty, measurement traceability, measurement standards, test uncertainty/accuracy ratios, measurement system analysis (MSA), SI units, calibration intervals, and out-of-tolerance reporting.

• Familiar with these regulations: FDA 21 CFR Part 820 cGMP, ISO 13485, ISO 10012, and ISO 17025

• Familiar with NIST, BIPM, NCSL, ASTM, ASME, or other organizations related to metrology, measurements, or standards.

• Organized, efficient, process oriented; interpersonal/communication skills; self-motivated; team player; strong work ethic; works well under pressure in a dynamic environment; tactful, exercises independent judgment and discretion - professional presentation.

• Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality standards and protocol for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.

• Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.

• Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.

• Designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.

• Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.

• May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.

• Responsible for the following 4 functions: Receiving Inspection process support, In-Process Inspection process support, Sterile Release process support and Internal Supplier Controls support

• Technical Support

• Successfully completes CRM Field Technical Training - including online and field-based training

• Performs checks/interrogations of all CRM medical device systems post sign-off

• Supports implants of all CRM products post sign-off

• Provides on-call support as needed on evenings and weekends post sign-off

• Provide troubleshooting support as requested

• Operational Support

• Assures completion of patient registration and any other required hospital documentation

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy Development: Collaborate with the VP of Global FP&A and executive leadership to develop and implement financial strategies that align with Medtronic's overall business objectives. • Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 15 years of relevant experience with 10+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum 13 years of relevant experience and 10+ years of managerial experience

• CPA or CFA certification preferred.

• Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

• Great strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

• Experience in the healthcare or medical device industry is a plus.

• Global finance experience is highly desirable.

A Day in the Life

In this exciting role as Senior Packaging Engineer, you will have responsibility to manage medical device packaging projects (NPI and Sustaining products). As part of the packaging and labeling group you will be responsible for capturing product / packaging requirements for packaging and labeling, designing and testing packages, that meet the internal requirements and comply to ISO 11607 standard.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Designs, develops, and tests a wide variety of containers used for the protection, display, and handling of products.

• Determines packaging specifications according to the nature of the product, cost limitations, legal requirements, and the type of protection required, considering need for resistance to such external variables as moisture, corrosive chemicals, temperature variations, light, heat, rough handling, and tampering.

• Designs package exteriors considering such factors as product identification, sales appeal, aesthetic quality, printing and production techniques.

• Responsibilities may include documentation management and/or coordination of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and may support prototype line development in manufacturing facilities/plants.

• Create Design Verification and Validation Plan / Protocols for producing and testing packaging system for integrity, strength aseptic presentation and other related tests. That are based on statistically sound rationales

• Perform Root Cause analysis for test failures and / or write technical rationales based on sound engineering principles

Must Haves

- Bachelors degree with 4+ years of Packaging Engineering experience in a regulated industry or advanced degree with 2+ years or experience

Nice to Have

- Six Sigma Black Belt

- MiniTab

- Lean Design & Manufacturing experience

- Experience in regulated industry submission
