Job Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups

• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.

• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner

• Process billing information and collect payments when required

• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis

• Maintain patient and specimen information logs

• Provide superior customer service to all patients

• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

• Travel to additional sites when needed

Job Requirements:

• Must have valid Washington issued Phlebotomy License or have an application for Phlebotomy License filed with Washington Department of Health at time of hire

• Previous experience as a phlebotomist

• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service

• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently or in a team environment

• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable

• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Position Summary

The Study Director III serves as the scientific specialist for a toxicology specialty program and serves as a Study Director for studies, as described in GLPs. They have overall responsibility for the technical conduct of a study, as well as for the interpretation, analysis, documentation, and reporting of results. Assists or may plan, design, and/or lead a team to conduct complex studies to generate high quality scientific results on behalf of Labcorp clients and play a key role in developing new strategies, techniques, and instrumentation for new ventures and critical issues in the area of specialty.

• PhD, DVM, or equivalent degree.

• 3 to 5 years of experience; Toxicology and GLP studies

• Recognized by research peers as an expert in a selected technical field.

About the Team:

This position will be responsible for producing, editing, and delivering the best e-learning solutions. responsible for performing specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment according to established standard operating procedures.

Employee can expect to average between 42-50 hours total a week dependent on volume, absences, etc...

Mandatory Saturday or Sunday rotation every 5-6 weeks. Weekend shift is

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Introduce and prepare biological specimens to the laboratory to ensure accurate processing

• Open specimens and pour off into secondary containers to prepare for analysis and testing

• Verify patient demographic information matches the test requisition form submitted

• Data entry of patient information into the computer system for tracking purposes

• Meet key production metrics and quality measures to ensure timely and accurate results

• Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas

• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities when required

• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples

• Resolve and document any problem specimens

• Handle and dispose of medical and chemical waste

• Comply with applicable environmental health and safety policies and procedures

• Operate automated instrumentation under supervision if necessary

Job Requirements:

Proficiency Testing Survey Samples

o May provide support to proficiency testing program by coordinating receipt of survey material, coordinating with interdepartmental personnel for sample analysis, and ensuring timely and correct completion of electronic or paper report forms.

o Investigate root cause for unacceptable performance on proficiency surveys and prepare corrective action response by assigned due date.

Training

o Assists with training new employees and follows-up to ensure training is understood.

o May assist with the development of training material, training checklists, and competency assessment programs.

Instrument/Equipment/Assay Validation

o Assist with assay validations by performing experiments according to departmental SOP. Compile validation data for management review.

o Assist with validation of new equipment and instruments including software validation requirements (e.g., User Acceptance Testing).

Assist staff by providing technical guidance where needed.

Non-Essential Functions

The PGDx Quality Assurance Team ensures the suitability, safety and effectiveness of next generation sequencing (NGS) medical devices that are developed, manufactured and distributed from our Baltimore, MD site. About the Team:

The PGDx Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance Teams ensures the suitability, safety and effectiveness of next generation sequencing (NGS) medical devices that are developed, manufactured and distributed from our Baltimore, MD site. The Regulatory Affairs Team ensures compliance with regional requirements to enable NGS products that are used to identify relevant genetic variants in cancer patients for research and/or medical device use to be marketed globally.

• Review scientific literature review protocols, confirm processes and data sources.

Labcorp is seeking a Service Representative/Courier to join our team in Charlotte, NC. In this position, you will be responsible for the pickup, transport and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies and reports, while providing excellent service to our clients.

OPTIONAL: Included with this position is a company vehicle to use for the route. In addition, for only $100 per month, you will have the option of taking this vehicle home with you and using it for personal use. If you choose to use the company vehicle for personal use all gas, tolls and maintenance are covered by the company.

The schedule for this position will be Monday -Friday 10AM - 7PM with rotating Saturdays

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Load all necessary suppliers needed for the daily pickups

• Complete daily pick up schedule in a timely manner

• Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift

• Handle all specimens and lab samples in safe and efficient manner

• Safely operate company vehicle and obey all traffic laws

• Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks up

• Work directly with dispatcher for additional pick-ups as needed

• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes and weather conditions as needed

• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens

• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis

• Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information

• Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance

• Replenish test bench supplies as needed

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested

• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards

Job Requirements:

• Comfortability with handling biological specimens

Schedule for this position will be 1st shift, Tuesday through Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria

• Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures

• Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality

• Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving

• Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls

• Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care

• Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures

• Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary

• Assist with processing of specimens when needed

• Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or meet local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements

• Previous clinical laboratory testing experience is not required

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

• Proficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus

• High level of attention detail along with strong communication and organizational skills

• Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen

• Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs
