We are seeking a Patient Service Center (PSC) Site Coordinator to join our team. This position will be responsible for the coordination and oversight of activities of Patient Service Centers within an assigned area. The PSC Coordinator will work closely with the PSC staff, management, as well as the laboratory staff and clients to ensure optimal operation of the Patient Service Center. The position will also perform phlebotomy and specimen processing procedures at LabCorp Patient Service Centers under minimal supervision.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Observe and report any performance, compliance or staffing related issues to supervisors
Manage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs
Monitor monthly productivity reports and report any deviations as necessary
Address any customer service related issues in a prompt and respectful manner
Promote team work, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkers
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Travel to additional sites when needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist
Prior experience is a leadership position is a plus
Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred
In depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniques
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
Schedule: Monday-Friday: 8:00am-4:30 pm, Saturdays as needed

LabCorp seeking a Service Representative/Courier to join our team in Birmingham AL. In this position, you will be responsible for the pickup, transport and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies and reports, while providing excellent service to our clients.
OPTIONAL: Included with this position is a company vehicle to use for the route. In addition, for only $100 per month, you will have the option of taking this vehicle home with you and using it for personal use. If you choose to use the company vehicle for personal use all gas, tolls and maintenance are covered by the company.
The schedule for this position will be Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Load all necessary suppliers needed for the daily pickups.
Complete daily pick-up schedule in a timely manner
Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift.
Handle all specimens and lab samples in safe and efficient manner.
Safely operate company vehicle and obey all traffic laws.
Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks up.
Work directly with dispatcher for additional pick-ups as needed.
Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes and weather conditions as needed.

Job Duties/Responsibilities :
Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria
Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures
Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality
Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving.
Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls
Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care
Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures
Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary
Assist with processing of specimens when needed
Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
Hospital based Generalist position in fast paced hospital. Must be able to work efficiently and accurately in a busy environment and be adaptable to change.
Requirements:
Associates' Degree in a life science or laboratory science/Medical Technology
Previous experience in a clinical laboratory is preferred
Must be ASCP certified as a Medical Lab Technician or equivalent
Ability to work independently and within a team environment Proficient with computers;
Familiarity with laboratory information systems are a plus High level of attention detail along with strong communication and organizational skills
Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen
Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs
Must be a medical lab technician (ASCP) or equivalent.
Experience with automated instrumentation and manual testing in hematology, chemistry, and/ or microbiology desirable.
Ability to express self concisely, accurately and effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to interact positively with clients, physicians and all staff.

. Must have a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
. Must be at least 21 years' old
. Previous driver/courier experience is preferred
. Customer service experience is a plus
. Very punctual with strong time management skills
. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
. Ability to problem solve customer issues
. Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
High level of attention to detail with strong organizational skills

Job Responsibilities:
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Travel to additional sites when needed
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred
Previous experience as a phlebotomist
Experience in an Obgyn setting preferred
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

LabCorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team.
This is a unique role that will split duties between the Courier and Specimen Processing departments. Will work the first half of the shift performing Courier/route driving duties and upon delivery of specimens to the branch, will perform specimen processing duties.
Specimen Processing & Accessioning duties.
Schedule:
Driver/Courier Responsibilities:
Load all necessary suppliers needed for the daily pickups
Complete daily pick up schedule in a timely manner
Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift
Handle all specimens and lab samples in safe and efficient manner
Safely operate company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks up
Work directly with dispatcher for additional pick-ups as needed
Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes and weather conditions as needed
Specimen Processor Responsibilities:
Introduce and prepare biological specimens to the laboratory to ensure accurate processing
Verify patient demographic information matches the test requisition form submitted
Data entry of patient information into the computer system for tracking purposes
Meet key production metrics and quality measures to ensure timely and accurate results
Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas
Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities when required
Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples
Resolve and document any problem specimens
Operate automated instrumentation under supervision if necessary
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous medical or production experience is a plus
Prior driver/courier experience is preferred
Proficient computer and typing skills
Must pass standardized color vision test
Comfortable handling human biological specimens including blood, urine and tissue samples
Ability to lift up to 30lbs, work in protective equipment and sit/stand for long periods of time
Strong eye hand coordination in order to accurately identify specimens by touch and sight
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
High level of attention to detail with the ability to problem solve
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
Must have a Valid Driver's License and good driving record
Must be at least 21 years' old

Job Responsibilities:
Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria
Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures
Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality
Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving.
Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls
Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care
Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures
Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary
Assist with processing of specimens when needed
Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or meet local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements
Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience is required OR an MLS degree
ASCP or AMT certification is preferred
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Proficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus
High level of attention detail along with strong communication and organizational skills
Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen
Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs
