WHO WE ARE

We are seeking an Early Career Systems Diagnostics Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development, optimization, and maintenance of Diagnostics Software (SW) in support of the MH-60R/S platform avionics systems, subsystems, and components.

The diagnostic software is currently written in Perl and LabView. In order to make the system more robust and tailor it to our customers' needs it will involve converting everything to C#. This position is a multi-faceted role and it will involve test planning, test execution, creating requirements and the mapping of requirements.

A level 2 employee is typically junior-career and has 1 to 2+ years of professional experience.

THE WORK

In this role you will:

- Develop and release Diagnostics SW across multiple aircraft configurations and part numbers.

- Design diagnostics software and maintenance procedures for new or updated subsystems and avionics boxes, ensuring compatibility across various aircraft configurations and system software versions.

- Provide support for diagnostics SW regression testing, diagnostics release testing, and Problem Trouble Report (PTR) testing.

- Generate and maintain relevant documentation, including diagnostics software requirements, design specifications, processes, and drawings for different programs and aircraft configurations.

- Coordinate PTR status with the Diagnostics lead and team members, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

- Allocate and document Diagnostics requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

- Plan and execute diagnostics development and release testing activities, including simulation, lab testing, regression testing, and aircraft testing.

- Conduct design analysis, system modeling, and testing, applying system engineering principles with a focus on Reliability and Maintainability (R&M), systems diagnostics, and troubleshooting.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Pay Rate:

In this role as a Satellite Systems Engineer you will have the opportunity to conduct mission/program-specific operations during readiness, execution, and evaluation phases. You will develop detailed plans and procedures to provide maximum mission support in areas such as orbit dynamics and performance analysis, provide technical direction for mission support, plan for critical activities, and provide alternate operating techniques. You will have the opportunity to work with different organizations and sites to implement various efforts across the IC. This includes resiliency test and tactics development as well as ops development.

During the initial training period, the successful candidate will learn the system and may concurrently support tools creation, data analysis, and maintenance.

This Position requires the completion of a formal training program and certification to perform duties.

This position will require 24x7 rotating shift in support of program activities.

No clearance required prior to start however a TS/SCI with adjudicated polygraph will be required for this position.

Basic Qualifications:

- Experience or understanding of spacecraft operations

As the Reentry Mk7 Systems Engineering Manager, you will:

- Manage the W93/Mk7 Systems Engineering organization under the direction of the Mk7 Program Manager and W93/Mk7 Chief Systems Engineer

- Have supplementary responsibilities for Reentry Systems Engineering Integration & Services, Reentry Independent Review Boards, Reentry Requirements / Verification, Risk and Opportunity management, and Reentry Interfaces

- Report to the Senior Manager for Reentry Systems Engineering & Design

The organization is distributed between Denver CO and Valley Forge, PA. Travel between sites may be required.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering or related field

Manage Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives (AA&E), Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS), Underwriters Laboratories (UL), Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (BATFE), and COMSEC programs.

The Locale: Troy, Alabama is located in the East Gulf Coastal Plains region of southeastern Alabama. Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree or above in STEM field OR 12+ years of relevant experience/combined education. (Preferred focus: Systems Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering).

- Experience working through the Systems Engineering lifecycle to include requirements analysis and/or verification/validation/test.

The F-35 is designed with the entire battlespace in mind, bringing new flexibility and capability to the United States and its allies. Reliance on any single capability - electronic attack, stealth, etc. - is not sufficient for success and survivability in the future. Missions traditionally performed by specialized aircraft - air-to-air combat, air-to-ground strikes, electronic attack, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance - can now be executed by a squadron of F-35s.

Will be responsible as manager for a team supporting multiple Special Access Programs (SAPs).

Will need experience working on large Special Access Programs platforms. Experience as a Lead or Deputy is preferred. Must have experience with Classified Programs involving Foreign Nationals (FN). Must have experience with contractual issues relating to administration of SAPs. Must have experience with large scale subcontract security management, Process Development (Standard Operating Procedures/Facility Operating Procedures).

Serve as a liaison between government security customer(s) and Program management

Under the direction of the Security Manager of F-35 Special Access Programs, will analyze, organize, plan and control the functional security responsibilities of one or more Special Programs.

Must have an excellent working knowledge of the DoD Directive 5205.07 Manual related tasks.

Thorough knowledge of DoD Special Access Required (SAR) regulations, to include International Requirements, policies and procedures, specific program procedures and company policies and procedures.
