Varec , a Leidos company is currently searching for an Defense QA Test Lead. The Test Lead functions as the Fuel Depot System- Inventory Monitoring (FDS-IM), Test lead in managing, developing, documenting and executing required positive and negative test scripts against the application suite to verify/validate a bug free application solution that will be provided to the government in support of the newly developed FDS-IM program.
In addition, we are looking for a Test Lead with excellent technical and planning skills to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in developing test plans and cases, executing tests, and analyzing and interpreting test results. They should have a knack for problem solving and be able to find solutions to technical issues quickly and efficiently. Test lead roles and duties involve overseeing the quality assurance efforts for a team, ensuring defined standards and processes for software or product testing, and training the team in software testing best practices. Test lead job responsibilities include developing detailed plans and strategies for testing new software or products, analyzing and interpreting test plans and results, and assisting in debugging and resolving software issues.
Location : This position would allow for hybrid remote work for candidates located within commuting distance to our Peachtree Corners GA office.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop, document, and maintain test plans, test cases, and associated scripts
Develop and document strategies for repeated tests
Execute and evaluate test plans and test cases
Analyze software test results and recommend corrective actions
Perform troubleshooting and debugging of test cases
Train personnel in software testing methodology
Review software requirements and test plans
Monitor and report progress on test plans and cases
Work collaboratively with other team members
Provide guidance and support to junior team members.

What Sets You Apart (Basic Requirements):
Bachelor's degree with four plus (4+) years of prior relevant experience. May consider more years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
U.S Citizenship required and must be able to obtain and maintain a Government IT Public Trust IT2 security clearance.
Must currently hold an active DOD 8570-01 IAT II Level Certification and Computing Environment Certification.
Must be willing to travel a minimum of 10%,
Hands on administrative and technical experience with all Microsoft Operating Systems and database management systems to date.
Must have expertise with Databases (SQL, Cassandra etc.)
Must have outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Must be able to multi-task multiple high priority items with the ability to properly prioritize and be part of a team environment.
Have a strong understanding of IT networking architecture with relation to Client Server configurations and/or thin/thick net configurations.
Must have highly developed multi-tasking capabilities with the ability to manage time and support issues to meet and exceed Government Service Level requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Five (5 +) years of hands-on Quality Assurance experience in which you played a key role in building and enhancing a QA function.
Experience in leading a team.
In-depth knowledge of software testing processes and methodologies.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with product development lifecycle and testing cycles including test approach and case review.

Leidos has an exciting opportunity for a Safety Specialist at the NASA Headquarters (HQ) in Washington DC.
As a Safety Specialist you would perform safety activities under general supervision of the Team Lead. In this position the Safety Specialist is expected to apply basic safety fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures. Successful candidate will exercise independent judgment within defined procedures and practices.
US Citizenship or US Permanent Residency and the ability to successfully obtain a Public Trust Clearance are required.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform facility safety inspections to determine compliance with regulations and standards; verify that corrective actions are implemented.
Review site-specific Health and Safety Plans (HASPs) for construction and maintenance activities to ensure that safety and health concerns have been identified and adequately controlled.
Respond to urgent customer concerns which typically consists of the ability to immediately respond to phone and email notifications of areas of concern from the buildings' populace to discover and characterize uncontrolled hazards, and to recommend to the government the next course of action.
Review job hazard analyses and advise personnel on need for and proper use of personal protective equipment.
Apply occupational health and industrial hygiene principles as needed and work closely with occupational health professionals.
Perform compliance assessments of safety and health programs against OSHA regulations and Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental Program manuals.
Perform safety surveys which consist of safety, ergonomic, general safety inspections, and fire life safety assessments of general office space and building operations and maintenance functions; and specialized post-renovation, pre-occupancy evaluation for the purpose of assuring that the space is safe for occupancy.
Be a general resource in one or more safety subject areas such as facility life safety, fall protection, PPE / JHA, LO / TO, confined space, construction, hot work, etc.
Perform a review and evaluation of documents provided by NASA for the purpose of hazard assessment. Typically, this involves special events, permits, blue print reviews in association with demolition, renovation and new construction, including audits of health and safety plans, and reviews of policy or procedures.
Provide Safety & Health Training per the safety training plan. Develop highest priority training classes, implement a training schedule, and provide instructor led classes.
Develop/update or modify written safety and health programs to meet specific requirement of NASA and OSHA required hazard control programs.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Safety or related field with 2+ years of experience in Safety involving the ability to apply and interpret Federal OSHA Regulation and other standards (Building Code, National Electric Code, National Fire Protection Association).
Strong knowledge of data metrics and must be experienced in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, for presentations, reports, and other uses.
Familiarity with construction site activities, safety procedures and requirements.
General knowledge of facility systems such as life safety, ventilation, electrical, and material handling.
A technical background in various process, utility, industrial and or mechanical systems and an understanding of associated hazards and risk assessment methodology.
The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills as the position involves interfacing with client and on-site contractor personnel.

Leidos is seeking a System Administrator to partner on a large enterprise IT contract for the DOD. The System Administrator will partner and direct operations across multiple geographic locations. The System Administrator provides systems and software operations and maintenance support in a large network enterprise, multi-enclave environment. This person will work in a team environment to ensure mission needs are met and ensure functionality of capabilities of customers.
This role requires technical expertise, customer oriented and familiar with using desktop software applications such as web browsing and client software, and IT Service Management (ITSM) software. The Qualified Member of the Engineering Department will participate in innovative technological advances onboard unmanned surface vessels (USV). This individual will be part of a 7 person crew rotation onboard a USV during testing and evaluation. The QMED will travel and work onboard USV at sea and in port operating and maintaining the USV and support vessels.
Duties include primary responsibility for the USV propulsion system underway, in addition to preparation, preservation, and cleanliness of navy watercraft, and pre/post mission craft readiness functions. Primary Responsibilities
The Senior Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for all BD activities and strategy development to drive US Navy and Marine Corp services growth. The position will pursue new opportunities in the areas of mission support, security, engineering and integration of force protection systems with an emphasis on cyber security, cloud, artificial intelligence and multi-domain environments. Experience in mission software, networks, information technology and/or digital transformation is required.Familiarity with system architectures, autonomous and unmanned force protection and national security solutions is required.
BDM will develop and execute the marketing and BD strategy for the DOD Force Protection and Security account. The Electrical Systems Department is a design-focused group of engineers specializing in advanced hardware-based products. The engineer will lead efforts on and develop architectures for embedded systems integrated into a diverse range

Primary Responsibilities
The applicant must have experience writing embedded software in the C or C++ languages for embedded systems. They should have a solid understanding of and experience with real-time software principles such as RTOS task scheduling and prioritization, inter-process communication with semaphores and mutexes, memory management involving both the stack and heap, and boot processes. Must have experience interacting with real hardware from a software environment and have experience writing low-level device drivers in both bare-metal and operating system environments, interacting with device registers and chip-to-chip hardware interfaces. Must have experience with boot processes and bootloaders and customizing bootloaders, such as U-Boot to support specific hardware configurations.
