Primary Responsibilities

In this role you will be instrumental in developing/updating technical documentations in eXtensable Markup Language (XML) using Arbortext Editor authoring software. Tag XML documents for the IADS IETM viewer. In addition to:
-Maintaining knowledge and proficiency with the latest logistics standards to include MIL-HDBK-1222, MIL-PRF-63002, and MIL-STD-40051.
-Ensuring compliance with appropriate standards and/or specifications.
-Ensuring written files and information are kept up to date and stored in accordance with procedures.
-Reporting progress of all assigned tasks to the project lead.
-Converting legacy materials to deliver a highly intelligent and extensible Interactive Electronic Technical Manual.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor in English, Communications, or related disciplines from an accredited college / university.
Minimum of 8 years' of recent experience in technical writing.
Master in English, Communications, or related disciplines from an accredited college/university and a minimum of 6 years' of recent experience in technical writing.
High School diploma and a minimum of 16 years of recent experience in technical writing.
Plus, a minimum of 5 years of XML tagging and Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM) development.
Must have experience working with IETM and XML using Arbortext Editor authoring software.
Must be a resident of Huntsville, Alabama or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, Alabama area.
Must be a US Citizen, possess and be able to maintain a Final Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing US Army or other DoD (optional) technical publications, including Repair Parts and Special Tools List (RPSTL), Depot Maintenance Work Requirements (DMWR), Modification Work Orders (MWO) and Electronic Technical Manuals (Operator and Maintenance).
Experience with modifications or maintenance, including performing maintenance or installations on a variety of military equipment including aircraft, special equipment, and ground vehicles.
Proficient in developing and maintaining technical documents using Microsoft Office 365 suite, Adobe PDF, Ultra Edit, Arbortext, and Notepad++.
Proficient user of Microsoft's Office 365 suite of software and applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Microsoft's SharePoint.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Knowledge of graphics formats and their strengths and weaknesses.
Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff.

The National Security Sector at Leidos is seeking a qualified Journeyman Geolocation Operator - India who is looking for a challenge and interested in working in a team environment. This position is on a future contract. Candidates must be willing to work in the Augusta, GA area.
Primary Responsibilities
The Journeyman Operator shall perform operational support to the government by performing tasks required to search, detect, identify, intercept, and locate signals of interest using the most appropriate sensor and geolocation technique available. Journeyman Operators will mentor less experienced Operators to enhance and reinforce the training program and operational TTPs.

Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance required.
Recent experience using multiple methods to produce geolocation solutions of known actionable communication devices

Leidos is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a high performing agile team using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology to support a nationally significant and fast-paced cryptographic key management program. Program execution follows DEVOPS best practices and employs robust development, test, and production environments. Additionally, the program is using Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) and test automation tools alongside a full suite of team collaboration tools. Leidos is the prime contractor providing system engineering, development, test, integration, and operational support. This new program is focused on injecting new technology and adding advanced capabilities over the coming three years while continuing to support an on-going mission and operational system.
Job Summary:
The selected individual will perform software development activities as a member of an agile development team. Development includes the full range of turning agile stories into implementable concepts, through development, testing, and deployment of the new capabilities in this complex system. Following the BDD pattern, our developers are responsible for implementing robust testing leveraging DEVOPS automation and, where appropriate, use of test automation commercial tools. There are a range of opportunities for server-side business logic implementation as well as client web application and user interface (UI) development. The selected individual will be responsible for analyzing and resolving highly complex software issues related to multiple aspects and components of the system. Leidos is seeking a TO Program Manager (TOPM) to support large-scale migration and operations on a large, high-profile DOD contract. The I3TS program provides enterprise-wide IT support to enable DTRA's Information Management & Technology Directorate (ITD) to consolidate, modernize, and continuously innovate the delivery of IT services and mission capabilities to DTRA's internal and external mission partners operating in CONUS and OCONUS locations. The TOPM is responsible for overall TO performance and shall serve as the Program Management lead and the Contractor's single service-delivery manager. The TOPM shall be the Contractor's authorized interface with the DTRA Contracting Officer and COR(s) for matters of operational and technical delivery. The TOPM shall be responsible for formulating and enforcing work standards, assigning contractor schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, supervising contractor personnel, and communicating DTRA programmatic and technical policies, purposes, requirements and goals to subordinates.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide project leadership and guidance for all contractor personnel assigned to I3TS related task(s) including assigning tasks to contractor personnel, supervising on-going technical efforts, and managing the project performance.

Leidos seeks passionate licensed mental healthcare providers ready to embrace a flexible PRN-type schedule, stepping in where needed across military installations and communities to safeguard and enhance mental well-being. MFLCs proactively provide counseling services, preventative in nature, to address and provide solution-focused approaches to issues before they become greater challenges. Interested counselors may support either adults or minors in a wide variety of assignments including but not limited to being embedded with a military unit, supporting military families, or working within a school setting.
What is Mission Ready Reserve (MRR)? Mission Ready Reserve MFLCs are trained and available counselors ready to serve when called upon. Working as a Mission Ready Reserve MFLC allows counselors to focus wholeheartedly on their passion for helping others, without by administrative burdens. Mission Ready Reserve counselors are assignment ready and taking an assignment is at the discretion of the Mission Ready Reserve counselor.
The Mission Ready Reserve Team has a backfill (fill-in) position for an existing MFLC that is taking a leave of absence. In this position the MFLC serves Service Members and their families in Fort Bliss, TX. Leidos Corporate Legal Department is seeking an experienced Attorney to serve as Assistant General Counsel to our Digital Modernization and National Security Sectors in our Reston, VA headquarters. Basic Qualifications:

The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is seeking a qualified Capture Manager to support the pursuit of opportunities across the Defense and Intel IT markets.
The Capture Manager is responsible for the capture leadership of assigned opportunities in support of the Enterprise IT growth strategy. Your Main Objectives:
Perform formal chain-of-custody sample receipt, verification of sample information, and logging of samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
Perform sample analysis using instrumentation including alpha spectroscopy, gamma spectroscopy gross alpha/beta analysis, liquid scintillation, and ICP-MS analysis.
Maintain a clean laboratory environment by following all laboratory decontamination procedures.
Processing of sample results from the instrumentation to the LIMS.
Complete data package assembly including primary and secondary reviews and to identify and correct mistakes and inconsistencies.
Applicant must be able to follow all radiation and safety procedures in all areas of the laboratory.
Applicant must be willing to work on other laboratory projects and some travel to other Leidos laboratories to support setup or laboratory operations.
Applicant must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.
What Sets You Apart:
Bachelor's degree in environmental science, chemistry, biology or a related scientific discipline or an Associate's degree and 2 years' experience working in a laboratory setting.
Capable of reviewing, compiling, and providing data files to users.
Capable of performing counting procedures on alpha, gamma, gross alpha/beta, and liquid scin samples.
This role is covered by the Service Contract Act. The pay for this position is expected to be $28-35/hr.

Leidos is seeking a Distribution Engineering Supervisor in Walled Lake, MI who is passionate about electric utility design engineering. The successful candidate will have five+ years of experience in developing construction work packages for the electric distribution system using various software systems and construction standards.Distribution systems may be in an OH, UG, or URD environment. Project work may include grid hardening and reliability, substation optimization, joint use make ready and street light projects. Work packages will be developed using Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools, Work Management Systems (WMS), and other client systems. The ideal candidate will have the ability to review engineering designs with detailed eye for errors.
As a Distribution Engineering Supervisor, you can expect to support the following activities with minimal oversight:
Lead a team of designers and engineers to develop design and construction work packages for electrical overhead and underground distribution systems operating from 4kV through 138kV mostly associated with programmatic work such as overloaded transformers, inspection and maintenance, joint use, and inspection reports.
Act as technical lead for engineers/designers to develop construction work packages included engineering calculations and constructability concern; this will including training junior engineers and designers, and entry-level technicians
Work under Engineering Manager to maintain project scope, schedule and budge
Review work provided by Client and assess requirements of scopes; Communicate work progress, technical issues, and schedule with Client.
Comply with Leidos and Client Safety requirements as well as design and quality expectations.
Develop permitting documents for different AHJ's
Coordinate with permit agencies, right-of-way specialists, system owners, field and forestry personnel, and 3rd party owners for joint-owned poles
Travel to sites/Customer meetings as needed.
Oversee on-boarding, performance, and day to day assignments of direct reports
Perform reviews (QAQC) of work by other engineers for submittal to Clients.
Provide engineering support during construction, including post-construction reviews to ensure all applicable engineering and construction standards have been met.
Basic Qualifications :
Requires BS Degree and a minimum of 5 yearsof prior relevant experience performing electric distribution design engineering for electric utilities; Candidates with a Bachelor's in an engineering discipline will be preferred
Experience with and demonstrated proficiency in NESC Standards,
Previous experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, and Bluebeam and/or Adobe.
Experiencewith distribution design tools such as BOUD, Pole Foreman, Spida-Calc,O-Calc
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Ability to demonstrate verbal and written communications skills.
Some previous experience monitoring scopes and tracking work progress.
Ability to utilize a personal vehicle,as some customer-related travel may be anticipated (Job-related travel will be reimbursed at IRS-approved rates
Experience with ESRI and GIS are preferred, but not required
Prior team leadership experience is preferred
