Leidos Defense Systems is currently looking to add a Software Engineer (SWE ) to a growing task. The SWE will translate interface requirements into software requirements, perform software design, and implement software features in an agile environment. The candidate must have strong C++, skills and be comfortable developing in a Linux environment. Experience with Docker is a plus in this role and familiarity with networked Command and Control systems is highly desirable. Day to day activities include working with domain Subject Matter Experts and Systems Engineers to fully understand system needs, integrating third-party software libraries and developing, documenting and integrating new software into a distributed C2 system.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform software development using C++ Analyze user requirements to derive software requirements
Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt to new hardware, or to improve performance
Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
Write and review software and system documentation
Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components
Participate in test and integration events in a USG HWIL facility
Implement recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university plus a minimum of two years' experience as a software engineer.
Experience coding in C++ and MATLAB
Experience working with containerization
Ability to work independently and as part of an engineering team
Ability to convey technical ideas in a clear, logical fashion
Ability to work on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
Experience with the agile software development process (Jira, Confluence, Git, etc.)
Proactive, persistent and diligent in closing actions and coordinating with others
Clear verbal and written communication skills

The National Security Sector at Leidos has an opening for a TARP Assistant/Warehouse Specialist, supporting the Technical Assistance for Repairables Processing (TARP) program sponsored and funded by NAVSUP Weapons Systems Support (WSS). This position is to support the ashore ATAC Mobile Node at Cherry Point, North Carolina. The Warehouse Specialist provides support for the Navy Repairables process to include the receipt/processing of not-ready-for-issue retrograde DLRs, material handling, and packaging in accordance with Navy packaging requirements. The Warehouse Specialist receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
Provides on-site support for logistics and the Navy Repairables Management process on behalf of NAVSUP WSS. Logistical support is technical in nature and applies to all Repairables processing performed ashore for oversight of major excess offloads and recapitalization projects.
Controls the efficient flow of goods, services and information in order to meet customer requirements.
Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistic processes.
Tasks include program formulation, coordination, integrated logistics processes, product support, asset visibility and material management.
Contributes to the development of organization's goals and objectives.
Decisions or failure to achieve results may cause substantial delays in schedules.
Regularly interacts with outside customers and functional peer groups. Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects.
Supports other logistics elements of the Navy Repairables process including Total Asset Visibility (TAV), Advanced Traceability and Control (ATAC) hubs/nodes, Carcass Tracking, Stock-In-Transit (SIT) and the management of retrograde data.
Facilitates the use of Automated Information Technology and the Navy electronic Repairables Management System (eRMS).
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma with a minimum of ten (10) years of logistics experience with background and knowledge of the US Navy Retrograde Processing. (Preferably Military logistics and storekeeper experience)
Knowledge of the Navy Supply System and NAVSUP Weapon System Support Inventory Management, Depot Level Repairables (DLRs) and Secondary Reparables (SECREPs).
Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Be physically capable of traveling and working in warehouse environments supporting physical logistics operations.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Excel/Access and other software.
Must be able to manage, utilize, display, and report Navy Repairables data.
Must have or be able to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Active DoD Secret security clearance.
Experience with NAVSUP Weapons Systems Support (WSS), Marine Corps Air Stations and ATAC processing is desirable.

Leidos is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a high performing agile team using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology to support a nationally significant and fast-paced cryptographic key management program. Program execution follows DEVOPS best practices and employs robust development, test, and production environments. Additionally, the program is using Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) and test automation tools alongside a full suite of team collaboration tools. Leidos is the prime contractor providing system engineering, development, test, integration, and operational support. This new program is focused on injecting new technology and adding advanced capabilities over the coming three years while continuing to support an on-going mission and operational system.
Job Summary:
The selected individual will perform software development activities as a member of an agile development team. Development includes the full range of turning agile stories into implementable concepts, through development, testing, and deployment of the new capabilities in this complex system. Following the BDD pattern, our developers are responsible for implementing robust testing leveraging DEVOPS automation and, where appropriate, use of test automation commercial tools. There are a range of opportunities for server-side business logic implementation as well as client web application and user interface (UI) development. Java, Python, embedded C/C++, Java cryptographic framework, XML, web UI and special purpose device programming opportunities are available.
Primary Responsibilities:
The selected individual will be responsible for analyzing and resolving highly complex software issues related to multiple aspects and components of the system. He/she will collaborate with other experts within the program and in the user community to design, develop, and debug existing software, and to design and develop enhancements that incorporate new capabilities into various components of the existing systems. The candidate will provide technical leadership for software development activities as a member of an agile team and will actively participate in program increment planning and related team activities. The selected individual will perform high-level software development functions including design, development, troubleshooting, and debugging of software programs. POSITION SUMMARY:
Serve as a Cyber Security Watch Officer (CSWO) on the DISA GSM-O II program supporting the DISA Joint Operations Center (DJOC) Network Assurance team. CSWOs are principally engaged in the triage of events, cyber incident handling, network analysis and threat detection, trend analysis, metric development, vulnerability information dissemination, and the DoD Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) methodology. This position offers a compressed workweek (10 hour/day 4 days on 3 days off) on a set Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday schedule. (Day-shift hours: 5am-3pm. Swing-shift hours: 1pm-11pm. Mid-shift hours 9pm-7am).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the DJOC Battle Captain with all Cyber Defense and Network Assurance issues to include making recommendations regarding Indicators of Compromise (IOC), malicious cyber activity, and the overall security posture of our networks.
Provide technical oversight of information security services and customer support initiatives, by Updating DoD shared SA and knowledge management (KM) tools, including CMDNet, websites, blogs, and wikis, chat, collaboration tools, and portals.
Consume and analyze operational reporting from cyber organizations; prepare and deliver daily situational awareness and operational update briefings, through the by coordinating with other cyber elements to obtain information for slide, briefings, presentations, or other SA products.
Report DCO and incident management responses to network intrusions, malware, and other cyber events.
Maintain awareness of all pertinent directives, orders, alerts, and messages to include the preparation and delivery of daily situational awareness and operational update briefings to DISA Senior Leadership.
Oversee all network defense operations and be familiar with the operations process flow and execution. Coordinate and collaborate with internal DISA elements and mission partners to share the understanding and impact of day-to-day malicious cyber activity.
Identify problems, determine accuracy and relevance of a broad range of technical information. Use sound judgment to generate, evaluate, and execute alternative courses of action. Produce timely, effective, decision-quality technical recommendations to support senior leadership.
Coordinate and ensure DoD incident handling reporting procedures are adhered to in accordance with (IAW) DoD, CJCS, USCC, and DISA guidance, regulations, and directives. Review Commander Joint Chiefs of Staff Manual (CJCSM) 6510: Cyber Incident Handling Program.
Serve as Senior Defensive Cybersecurity SME during 24x7 operations. Requires the ability to think independently and make decisions/recommendations which will have an immediate effect on the security of our networks.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Must hold a BA degree and 4+ years of experience. Additional experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
Must have an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
Must have a DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) to start and must obtain CSSP-A certification within 180 days of start date.
CND experience (Protect, Detect, Respond and Sustain) within a Computer Incident Response organization. Requires a deep understanding and the ability to apply cyber security related principles, theories, and concepts.
Demonstrated understanding of the life cycle of network threats, attacks, attack vectors and methods of exploitation with an understanding of intelligence driven defense and/or Cyber Kill Chain methodology.
Work independently and as part of a team to develop solutions to issues that are unclear and require deep technical knowledge.
Experience in a 24x7 environment. This includes mentoring, training, and reviewing the work performed by more junior personnel.
Experience recognizing situational awareness indicators and executing judgment of potential impact on mission operations.

The Leidos Human Health and Performance Contract (HHPC) has an opening for an International Space Station (ISS) Science Integrator in Houston, Texas at NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC).
This position will serve as a member of the Applications Client Support Office (OZ3) in the Research Integration Office (OZ) within the International Space Station (ISS) Program. The Applications Client Support Office is responsible for ushering ISS utilization payloads from cradle to grave. These responsibilities include payload/investigation feasibility, acceptance, mission integration, on-orbit execution, and communication of scientific results. Clients include the NASA Headquarters-based Science Mission Directorate (SMD), Space Technology Mission Directorate (STMD), Advanced Exploration Systems (AES), Office of STEM Engagement (OSTEM) and their work across multiple NASA centers.
