Leidos is seeking a TS/SCI cleared Senior Systems Engineer to support Post Production Software Support (PPSS) and Post Deployment Software Support (PDSS) engineering and technical services to the CECOM IEW&S Directorate Sensors and Mission Division (SMED) based in Aberdeen MD with operations located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD .

Successful candidates will support our customer in creating capabilities and providing technical services, subject matter expertise, and software solutions and services for platforms such as the Guardrail Common Sensors (GRCS) and Operational Ground Station. This support is an essential in maintaining readiness for today's modern platform sensor systems.

Primary Responsibilities

Interacts with system users to translate their requirements into systems, hardware, and software requirements and design. Oversees the development of test strategies. Manages small team efforts to solve system analysis problems in the functional area to which assigned. Additional duties may include: performing requirements and design reviews; analyzing specification updates and management; supporting engineering reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR); managing and responding to Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Change Requests (CRs); performing safety analysis and reporting; conducting safety analyses, planning, and reporting; performing software engineering assessments and technical evaluations; and determining completeness, accuracy, clarity, maintainability, supportability, reusability, and performance of software products to meet specification requirements. Maintain communications with the customer on a daily basis.

Basic Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience. Years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Current and Active TS/SCI clearance required

  • Five years of functional experience performing analysis and decomposition of high level user requirements into functional system, software and hardware requirements.

  • Understanding and experience in the complete life-cycle of the software in military systems.

  • Familiarity with network & systems administration concepts

  • Experience in Post Deployment Software Support (PDSS) & Post Production Software Support (PPSS) projects and programs.

  • Experience with Virtual Machines (VMWare) and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.

  • Willing to travel up to 10% CONUS to support operational requirements.

  • Demonstrated experience working within matrixed teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree is desirable.

  • Security+ Visual Basic, Visual Studio, C#, C++, Python, plug-in architectures.

  • Jira, Confluence,

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is preferred.

Leidos seeks a CRM Business Systems Analyst to support the Digital Solution, Inc. program. The selected candidate will have the ability to assist customers with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) technical support issues as well as consulting with customers on their business processes and the relevant CRM software usage to meet those business process requirements. Onsite/In-office software consulting and software support with occasional remote customer support in a demanding Capitol Hill environment. The ability to communicate effectively with VIP customers is a plus.

Please Note: Must be able to work onsite as needed in Washington, DC, up to 5 days a week some weeks, with some potential for some remote work. This is subject to change based on Leidos, customer, and local government policy related to Pandemic Remote Work.

The Challenge:

  • Provide consultation to help customers develop and modify system configurations for leveraging Customer Relationship Management (CRM) information systems (IQ) to achieve mission outcomes.

  • Guide customers in formulating new sound business and related technical processes as well as analyzing/optimizing current processes.

  • Coordination with customer business process owners and various technology teams to ascertain/develop technical requirements and user acceptance testing relating to CRM system functions including but not limited to new data acquisition and system VIP output.

  • Ability to multi-task while supporting VIP clients.

  • Provide daily support for Intranet Quorum (IQ) product to customers.

  • Provide weekly reports and open tickets for each support or consulting request from customers.

  • Train Intranet Quorum (IQ) product to new customers as they turnover in customer offices.

What Sets You Apart:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field with relevant experience, may consider more years of experience in lieu of degree.

  • Ability to learn proprietary CRM software.

  • Basic knowledge of HTML and troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to clearly/concisely/effectively communicate in writing or in verbal exchange with varying audiences.

  • Ability to effectively synthesize clear explanations of complex technical or business process to audiences with varying levels of background and expertise.

  • Two plus (2+) years of relevant experience with MS Office products

Leidos Dynetics is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented problem solver to join our modeling and simulation team as an Aerospace Modeling and Simulation Engineer in Charlottesville, VA. You will play a valuable part in developing and testing models of aerospace systems, to include air-launched weapons; ballistic missile systems; avionics; hypersonic vehicles; and guidance, navigation, and controls across a wide range of projects and programs.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop, integrate, and test models of aerospace systems based on provided information, research, and engineering principles.

  • Document model performance against requirements.

  • Document algorithm design.

  • Work collaboratively with an engineering team comprised of internal and external team members.

  • Interact with external stakeholders to define requirements and perform model demonstrations.

Basic Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university

  • Candidate must have 2+ years' experience

  • Experience with 3DOF/6DOF flight models

  • Experience in MATLAB/Simulink

  • Experience with system level requirements

  • Detailed understanding of the systems engineering process

  • Demonstrates solid understanding and intuition of the functionality and interdependency of aerospace systems

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders

  • Organizational skills to document work and interface with team members to ensure flow of information

  • Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance and eligible to obtain TS SCI

  • Candidate must be local to or willing to relocate to the Charlottesville, VA area

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with configuration management tools such as SVN and Git

  • Experience in C++ or Python

  • An understanding of basic GNC algorithms

  • Experience simulating ballistic missiles, air-launched missiles, and/or hypersonic vehicles

The Integrated Systems Division at Leidos is seeking a collaborative and forward-thinking Software Program Manager (PM) to provide software development and sustainment. The PM will serve as the primary interface between Leidos, all sub-contractors and the government for required project status information, tasking, risk management, coordination, staffing, scheduling, and problem resolution. Primary Responsibilities:

The PM will be responsible for all aspects of managing the portfolio to include but not limited to analyzing business functionality as well as providing recommendations and impact assessments for system design and architecture development. This position is responsible for managing, developing, and evaluating subordinate resources, resolving contractor issues and meeting with the sponsor for Program Management Reviews. The PM will be responsible for creating and maintaining all compliance documentation, maintaining the contractor management plan, as well as managing and reporting on project related items, such as cost, schedule, risk, and performance. The PM will be responsible for timely and accurate delivery of all CDRL and financial reports for the contract as well as ad-hoc data calls and various other contract deliverables.The PM is to ensure the timely and accurate transfer of programmatic and technical information and plan and participate in program/iterative reviews. The PM will be responsible for securing and managing an exceptional team/staff, maintaining high levels of staff retention, and ensuring exceptional customer relationship management. The successful candidate will excel at personnel and customer relationship management with a big picture/strategic eye for innovation and continued efficiencies across the program.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience managing Agile Software Development programs

  • Exceptional staff and customer relationship management skills

  • Demonstrated leadership qualities working with senior management to influence and find solutions

  • Ability to write/document and present materials

  • Familiarity with Large Language Models

  • Experience with AI/ML development environments

  • Requires a BA/BS or equivalent experience and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience

  • Has 4+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP certification or equivalent

  • Agile Certified Practitioner

  • SAFe Agilest Certification

Security Clearance Requirement:

  • This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance.
