Primary Responsibilities:
This position will support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Air Traffic Organization (ATO), Western Service Area (WSA) Environmental, Occupational Safety & Health (EOSH) Program and assist the District Safety and Environmental Compliance Managers (SECMs) in providing EOSH support to Airway Facilities (AF) personnel in the Los Angles (LAX) District Office.
The candidate will support the customer's Asbestos, Lead, Environmental Compliance, OSH Compliance, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Safety Training, Drinking Water, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), and Pandemic programs.
The candidate will participate in EOSH investigations related to potential accidental releases, mishaps, and employee complaints, as requested by the Safety and Environmental Compliance Managers (SECMs).
Please Note: Must be able to work onsite in El Segundo, CA. Partial telework potential with Manager's approval.
Required Qualifications:
Must have experience in one of the following areas: Industrial Hygienist (IH) OR Occupational Safety and Health (OSH).
Working knowledge and proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office applications to include MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office and MS PowerPoint.
The position requires the candidate to travel approximately 25% - 50%.
Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance Suitability (To be eligible for Public Trust Security Clearance, one must be either a U.S. Citizen OR a U.S. Permanent Resident/Green Card holder who has resided in the U.S.A for the past 3 years of the past 5 years consecutively with no breaks).
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, OR equivalent experience/combined education, with 4+ years of professional experience; OR 2+ years of professional experience with a related Master's degree. Additional years of relevant experience maybe accepted/considered in lieu of degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) OR Associate Safety Professional certification is highly desired.
Certified in any of the following areas is a plus: Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor; AHERA Asbestos Building Inspector; Certified Lead Professional; Lead Inspector/ Risk Assessor; and Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER).
Able to be fit-tested and wear respirator and be enrolled in Respiratory Protection Program (if hired).
Able to meet all requirements necessary to climb structures and oversee Fall Protection Program.
Confined Space assessment experience, program administration experience; Forklift Operator, Forklift Instructor; Aerial Lift Operator, and Aerial Lift Instructor Experience, are desired.
Highly developed presentation skills, comfortable conducting training classes, self-motivated and proactive team player, and excellent written and oral communication skills.

The Service Asset Inventory Specialist position is responsible for the logistical management of IT asset records under the direction of the NEST SACM Manager. In this position, the candidate will be responsible for the health of the hardware/asset records as well as any tasks related to the Service Level Agreements (SLA) associated to Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) performance for their center(s) of responsibility. The timeliness and accuracy referred to in this description is key to successful execution of this position and necessary for continued employment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Communicate with Service Delivery personnel to ensure hardware reported to have been delivered to customers is what was delivered
- Ensure records housed in ServiceNow are accurate and complete.
- Confirm hardware existence, as well as location and state, in CostPoint is mirrored in ServiceNow.
- Communicate with end user to remediate any discrepancies in records.
- Support SACM analysts and Logistics in research and corrective actions
- Research methods to improve data accuracy and process efficiency.
- Duties may include controlling the flow of assets and asset information between the point of origin through customer placement to meet customer requirements as well as ensure the execution and improvement of standard processes.
- Works to achieve day-to-day objectives to Identify, define and addresses problems which are not immediately evident but typically basic.
- Identifies and resolves problems insuring records housed in ServiceNow and Costpoint are accurate and complete.
- Confirm hardware asset existence, as well as location and state within CostPoint is mirrored in ServiceNow.
- Communicates with peers to explain facts, basic analysis, processes and practices related to area.
- Requires limited use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts. Utilizes limited knowledge of industry practices and standards.
- Can provide high level of customer service communications in written and verbal form.

Leidos has a career opportunity for a talented Technical Trainer in support of the Army's Synthetic Training Environment (STE). We are seeking a field trainer and curriculum developer to support the creation, validation, delivery and training of a complex distributed simulation-based training system. The position will require a fair amount of independence and will interact daily with a broad range of other technical skills to complete the tasks needed. An outgoing and confident personality that seeks to find the necessary data and transform it into innovate training solutions is required. This position will have primary responsibility for leading training classes at fielding sites for the STE Training Simulation Software and Training Management Tool (TSS/TMT). When not performing fielding training, candidate will create training videos and quick reference material for the advanced distributed learning (ADL) system embedded in the TSS/TMT software. Position requires maturity and the ability to operate in a fluid and dynamic environment where the candidate will need to take initiative to define the correct answers and initiate contact to resolve uncertainties. This will be a collaborative position in an Agile team-based program.
Primary Responsibilities:
A successful candidate will be primarily involved with leading fielding training classes and the development of new training content, and the merging together of inputs from multiple sources to create a single integrated library of video content and other training materials such as curriculum guides, quick reference cards, and checklists.
An understanding of learning theories, ADDIE, and instructional system design will be useful.
Implementation of a modern simulation driven training system will be directly supported by the integration and consolidation of materials from multiple sources into a single coherent training capability.
A successful candidate will demonstrate a good aptitude for problem solving, be organized and able to communicate at a high level.
Ability to translate technical jargon into more easily understandable prose is essential.
Ability to understand and communicate with technical staff is considered a standard part of the position.

Basic Qualifications:
BA degree in related technical field and 6+ years of experience in training development

The Long-Range Enterprise Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Activity (LEIA) program is seeking a C6ISR Lead Airborne Systems Engineer.

THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)
Serve as the primary leader and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for LEIA Contract, Task 2 (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber-Defense, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C6ISR)) Airborne Systems Engineering team responsible for design, integration, modification, testing strategy, and test activities for all C6ISR Airborne Systems
Leads Airborne Engineering team with direct-report employees, subcontractor employees, and employees assigned from functional directors in execution of the Airborne Engineering contract tasks
Day to Day activities include:
Plans and directs the Airborne ISR collection platforms and PED design, engineering, installation, integration, test and evaluation
Identifies labor, material, and facility resources required for on-time delivery systems. Plans and manages schedule and daily engineering operations; tracks schedule performance and monitors critical interface points between ISR collection platforms and PED
Ensures all requirements are verified through analysis, demonstration, inspection, and/or test

Researches, analyzes, and evaluates emerging C6ISR technologies for operational use

Develops, engineers, and integrates C6ISR subsystems and sensors for use in the collection, PED, and/or to support infrastructure

Supervises the development, review, and approval of test cases documented in the Test Plans and Conducts Test Readiness Reviews. Responsible for collecting and preparing the test data and leads the testing team in the actual test, including resolution and retest of a product and analyzes and reports the test results and defects found for progress tracking
Ensures full compliance with the flight ground operation procedure (FGOP)
Coordinates with the Program Transition Support Team and Task Leads (Key Personnel) to plan, execute, and track C6ISR Airborne Systems
As required, communicate with SOCPAC, and operations, maintenance, and logistics personnel

WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic qualifications)

The Security Engineering Program (SEP) under the Intelligence Group at Leidos currently has an opening for an Operation Support Planner in the Professional Services Support (PSS) Program.As an Operation Support Planner, you will liaison as a Customer Representative responsible for analyzing actual and predictable operational activities of, or information related to, a military, governmental, or program to help customers make better-informed decisions. Your duties may include qualitative and quantitative analyses including data modeling, simulations, and decision support system applications.The candidate will be responsible for entire projects or processes within their professional area and typically be accountable for coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals. This position is in the St. Louis MO Metro area. A active TOP SECRET clearance is required for consideration.
Primary Responsibilities'
Draft and maintain policies, plans, and procedures that describe how to execute continuity capabilities to meet specified requirements.
Maintain continuity and emergency management program material and essential records to ensure appropriate readiness levels.
Support emergency management/incident response functions to accomplish the program mission.
Support asset management staff (Accountable Officer, Responsible Officer, and User) in maintaining an accurate inventory and accountable distribution of equipment.
Assist with developing policies and procedures and with multiyear strategic plans and schedules.
Assist with drafting crisis and consequence management operational plans and procedures and executing and supporting those plans.
Prepare Continuity of Operations training materials.
Assist with Emergency Preparedness/Occupant Emergency Program.
Basic Qualifications
Must possess a minimum of a TS Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain program SCI and Polygraph.
Abachelor's degree in Emergency and Disaster Planning orrelated discipline, (8-12) years of experience inEmergency and Disaster Planning, Continuity of Operations,and Mission Assurance areas, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum (5) years of experience with U.S.GovernmentEmergency Management practices,including in-depth knowledge of key Department of Defense (DoD) and Interagency policies.
Must maintain a valid driver's license
Be willing to drive CMV (>10K lbs./non-CDL Vehicles) and participate in driver protective/evasive training.
