In this role, the qualified individual will be expected to:

  • Solving challenging substation engineering problems.

  • Working with protection engineers and performing quality reviews on relay setting packages.

  • Create logic diagrams for IEC61850 substations.

  • Working directly with clients as well as working with other staff in remote office locations.

  • Assignments will cover the full range of project planning through design and construction support.

  • Preparation of relay settings from 4.16kV through 500kV including relay set points, logic diagrams, configuration files and documentation.

What you will bring to the table:

  • Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) six (6+) years of related experience.

  • Main requirement is experience with creating relay settings and logic diagrams.

  • Capable of using Aspen OneLiner and/or Siemen's CAPE for coordination studies and fault study analysis.

  • Preparation of protective relay coordination studies

  • Experience with development of relay settings for microprocessor relays including: SEL, Alstom, GE, ABB and others. For both transmission line relays (Line Differential, Step Distance and Pilot Schemes) and substation relays (Capacitors, Transformers and buses)

  • Being familiar with Schweitzer AcSELerator QuickSet, General Electric EnerVista and Schneider Electric MiCOM software is a plus.

  • Strong engineering and interpersonal skills and high attention to detail with a passion for quality.

  • Experience implementing control and protection schemes including interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams and preparing relay logic to complete the schemes.

  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure situations.

  • Team player who can work effectively in team environment.

  • Self-starter who will work independently with minimal direction.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required when interfacing with clients and staff.

  • High level of computer competency

  • The following are additional skills that are considered a plus:

  • Experience preparing technical reports.

  • Familiarity with PTC MathCAD software

Leidos is seeking a Lead Site-Civil Engineer to manage our site/civil department in our growing Framingham, MA office to work on a variety of electric utility projects. This is an excellent career opportunity for an enthusiastic, energetic and talented individual to join a team of outstanding professionals and the opportunity to apply the latest technology to help our clients solve their most challenging problems. Typical projects involve site/civil design engineering for both large and small scale utility projects. Candidates who have commercial/industrial site development experience will also be considered for the position. Candidate will primarily function as a lead engineer performing design reviews, leading projects, overseeing junior staff members, and contributing to bids and proposal development. This role will also consist of taking a responsible engineer role on main client projects, overseeing the work and ensuring quality control on design packages. Site-visits to client substation facilities are expected to be part of the work, along with occasional travel for client meetings and industry related events. Experience in front-facing client operations such as lunch and learns, and kick-off meetings is preferred. Candidate must comply with quality control and safe work practices and maintain compliance with project scope, schedule and budget expectations. This position will be a lead role in a design team comprised of engineers, designers, and drafting technicians.

Job Summary:

Leidos is seeking an Operations Support Technician to support the Service Desk in Norfolk, VA. The candidate will serve as an escalation point for the Tier I and II technical Service Desk, providing software, hardware and network problem resolution for clients. Will interact with other team members, such as network services, software engineering, and applications development to restore services and identify and correct emerging issues.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Monitor incoming Customer Contact traffic to ensure Service Desk Service Level Requirements (SLRs) are met

  • Proactively monitor all agents in the Call Management System

  • Liaises with other departments to assist in resolving outages or degradations in service

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Tier 1 and Tier 2 agents to report suspected network outages

  • Maintain and broadcast outage information on both the phone system and the Knowledge Center

  • Responsible for creation and maintenance of detailed operational reporting, deliverable on a scheduled and ad hoc basis

  • Performs process analysis to identify dynamic solutions to operational challenges

  • Thorough understanding of service desk processes and documentation requirements

  • Provides guidance and mentoring to launch self-serve reporting for internal customers

  • Responsible for performing ad hoc general and project-specific tasks involved in the support of the service desk

  • Collaborate with colleagues and other work groups to gather and vet data to ensure accuracy of deliverables

While supporting the Screening & Vetting mission the analyst will be responsible for screening and vetting individuals traveling to the US by reviewing non-immigrant and immigrant Visa applicants against TIDE and other IC databases. Responsibilities will include using appropriate tools and analytic tradecraft to evaluate, analyze, and integrate relevant identity information to reveal foreign traveler links to terrorism for the State Department adjudication and watch listing purposes. This role uses the call chain analysis process to determine relationships, patterns, trends, indicators, and warnings to identify and report CT intelligence gaps.

Basic Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline and 8-12 years of overall related experience or Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience. 4+ years of additional related years of experience is accepted in lieu of a degree.

  • Experience with MS Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Good oral and written communication skills

Intimate knowledge of MS SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Online, including:

  • Content lists

  • Related/linked lists

  • SharePoint Web parts

Knowledge of programming languages, including:

Leidos has a challenging and exciting opportunity for a self-motivated Logistician to join our team supporting a large, complex, fast-paced program that uses Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology. The contract provides system engineering, development, test, integration, and operational support to a program focused on injecting new technology and adding advanced capabilities while continuing to support an on-going mission and operational system. The selected individual will be responsible for managing hardware, software, and service purchases for a large, complex hardware/software system consisting of multiple geographically distributed nodes and diverse configurations within a multifaceted network environment.She/he will work closely with Infrastructure Teams, System Test, System Administration, Integration Engineers, and Software Engineers to identify purchase requirements and be part of the team that tracks hardware and software statuses across the program. The selected individual will create and maintain documentation as required.

Primary Responsibilities

The selected candidate will support the purchase of software licenses and hardware assets through all steps of the procurement life cycle. She/he will also track the hardware warranties and software maintenance periods to ensure there are no lapses in support.The selected individual will monitor several ticket queues and respond to requests as they are received within Service Level Agreements. She/he will support multiple Technical Task Orders and update the related Bills of Material, and will work with program team members to ensure a streamlined procurement of materials against program requirements. The selected individual will monitor material movement through the procurement process and resolve any impediments. She/he will engage the buyers and material planners to prioritize urgent procurement requests and coordinate the delivery of the material.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and at least of 8 years of related experience in Logistics, Quality Control, Data Management, Hardware/Software Management, or related disciplines. Additional experience may be substituted for a Degree.

  • Must have substantial knowledge of IT equipment, hardware, and software.

  • Must be familiar with Bill of Materials (BOMs).

IT Service Quality Engineering and Control (QEC)

Job Summary:

Leidos is supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) in centralizing Common Use information technology (IT) infrastructure for the Department of Defense's (DoD) Fourth Estate (4E) agencies. The DES contract will unify the 4th Estate's Common Use IT systems, personnel, functions, and program elements associated with the support of those systems and technologies under a Single Service Provider (SSP) architecture managed, operated, and supported by DISA.

The QEC Representative will focus primarily on supporting the DES Program. The QEC Representative will ensure all performance standards, measures, and contract deliverables are in conformance with the contract and performance work statement (PWS), the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP), Leidos' EngineeringEdge NextGen (EENG) standard methodologies, industry standards and best practices, and the DES Quality Control Plan (QCP). As opportunities to improve process and performance are identified, the QEC Representative will guide the improvement to ensure effective implementation is achieved.

The position is expected to be 50% virtual with weekly travel to Ft. Meade, MD.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Quality Management: Support the Quality Manager in the execution of plans and activities that execute and measure the requirements according to Leidos policies and standards. Report status of program activities and data to Program and Leidos Leadership as required. Support other Quality actions and responsibilities across the program as required. Support program Staff Meetings and reporting requirements. Support contractual requirement for periodic escorting of visitors. Collaborate with various IT service teams to resolve problems and prevent future occurrences.

  • Performance and Control: Measure program performance against contractual requirements. Review deliverables, IT Service processes, and support the full deliverable lifecycle for compliance with requirements to ensure quality standards are upheld and record results of reviews for tracking and analysis. Monitor internal Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify trends in adherence to the Quality Management System. Conduct and support data management activities.

  • Internal Audits: Assist in the creation of the Internal Audit Schedule to drive compliance with the PWS, QASP, Leidos Policies and Procedures, the Quality Plan, and other Industry Standards and Best Practices (such as ISO 9001:2015 and CMMI-SVC) as applicable. Ensure the Internal Quality Audit schedule is properly executed, identifying applicable objective evidence. Communicate Opportunities For Improvement (OFI) and Corrective Action Requests (CAR) to stakeholders to ensure their comprehension and timeline requirements. Manage audit events and findings in the tracking tool.

  • Continual Improvement: Identify issues, process breakdowns, or negative trends and recommend them for improvement action. Identify and communicate deliverables and services that fail to conform to quality standards that escape the process and are provided to the customer - recording these instances in the tracking tool. Conduct thorough root cause analysis to understand the underlying reasons for issues and appropriately identify corrective and preventive actions to address them. Track corrective and preventive actions to closure.

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 4-8 years of professional experience; or a Master's degree in a related discipline with 2-6 years of professional experience Additional experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Currently possess a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
