The associate will quickly build and maintain customer relationships and become a trusted advisor by utilizing training of Technology products/services and print offerings.
The Services Advisor will demonstrate a passion for the brand, technology products, furniture, print, and other services/products offered to our customers. The Services Advisor will utilize Office Depot Inc.'s proven sales principles to proactively engage customers, to drive the sales of our total offerings, and properly assess customer needs to ensure satisfaction in every interaction.

Primary Responsibilities
Provides exceptional customer service by educating customers about Office Depot products and services. Effectively utilizes communication tools to request assistance anywhere on the sales floor, and to coordinate the appropriate service, and customer engagement throughout the store. Performs duties such as cashier, logistics support, stocking, restocking, down stocking, inventory control, cleaning the store and protecting company assets. Ensures the completion of damaged and defective/buy back merchandise through the RCC process.
When not assisting customers, performs merchandise-related activities to ensure merchandise presentation guidelines are met through implementing plan-o-gram changes and updates, merchandise set and price changes. Sets weekly ads, including price changes, and any associated updates to store signage.
Proactively acknowledges and engages every customer to ensure a positive customer experience. Utilizes and understands the selling program to promote the sale of the best solution as well as additional product and/or services solutions. Maintains awareness of planned advertisements and promotions.
Able to evaluate the customer's needs to determine what additional offerings or services that a customer may need in addition to determining if a customer should be referred to the Contract Sales organization.
Works to continually develop personal selling skills and specialized product knowledge. Drives Technology, Tech Services, Furniture and Print sales by supporting all related current programs, new product launches and special initiatives.
Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and practices; and supports company loss prevention efforts.
Successful completion of Tech, Print, and other applicable training and continued education in these areas is expected, up to and including designated certifications, if required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent education preferred
Minimum 1 year experience in related field
2 Years Sales and/or Customer Services experience preferred
Must possess the ability to use technology and print equipment applicable to role, and to access information necessary to complete daily responsibilities
Must possess ability to process information/merchandise through POS register system
Basic computer skills

Operates and assists associates on all equipment within the Print Services area to maintain efficient production and ensure client orders are completed correctly and on-time. Adheres to all standards related to signage labeling and merchandise presentation.

Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent education preferred.
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in related field.

The Specialist, Delivery Lead is responsible for the efficient delivery of all customer products and will lead and direct the Delivery Specialists. This position is responsible for hands on training of new Delivery Specialists as well as the ongoing monitoring and follow-up of all route drivers. This position will place a strong emphasis on customer service and organization as well as the ability to direct the work of others. The Lead Delivery Specialist should be familiar with route balancing as well as other system functions in RACE, MS Word and MS Excel. May be responsible for Desktop Delivery Specialist
Primary Responsibilities
Provide training and coaching to new and existing Delivery Specialists. Provide technical training and problem solving resources. Provides input for performance reviews
Assist management with vehicle safety and building security issues. Allocates resources to insure timely deliveries as defined by customer requirements and expectations
Communicate customer feedback to appropriate supervisory personnel
Develop and contribute ideas and suggestions for operational improvements utilizing LEAN practices
Ensure the proper completion of all required paperwork
Assist management with route design, balancing and dispatch, including training and follow up of driver and vehicle safety as well as State and Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance
Assume supervisory functions in the absence of direct manager or supervisor
Assist with delivery operations as a route back-up driver, when necessary
Adherence to established Standard Operating Procedures
Perform driver safety checks as needed, for follow up and or retraining
Participate in Safety Committee and conduct Tier 1 meetings
Assist in meeting with new customers and for onsite visits
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent edu preferred
- Minimum 3 years experience in related field
- At least two years Delivery experience preferred. Supervisory or Leadership experience preferred. Knowledge of systems, tools, and or processes in delivery environment preferred.
- CDL may be needed in states where required
- Computer skills preferred;
- Valid driver license
