Overview
The Supply Chain Operations Manager (Production Shift - 11AM Start) is responsible for managing, executing and optimizing Supply Chain strategies as it relates to the daily distribution and transportation activities within assigned area(s) of a market. This may include, but is not limited to, functional responsibility for one or more departments such as receiving, order fulfillment, shipping/loadout and/or transportation. This position is responsible for P&L management, staffing, and ensuring the execution and accountability of KPIs, regulations and associate safety. This position will actively engage and interact with site and regional leadership to implement work process design and flow to improve performance and overall efficiency. The Manager, as a member of the leadership team, will continually identify ways to improve our operations and ensure that both internal and external customers receive the highest level of service. The Manager sustains a cohesive and effective team within his or her area of responsibility by managing and developing associates to achieve high quality and productivity in concert with the company's goals and company values.
Primary Responsibility
- Plan and Manage the efficient receipt, storage, order fulfillment and loading of inventory and/or transportation, through vigilant focus on KPI's, Quality and Service goals; utilizing forecasting methodologies and tools.
- Plan and Manage Multi-Departmental P&L's, with accountability for cost containment and efficiency.
- Implement Lean methodology and use the principals to lead continuous improvement with teams.
- Recruit, hire, train and develop Distribution and/or Transportation associates; ensure coverage planning for staffing requirements and resource allocations.
- Provide leadership and motivation for 20-30 direct report associates. Communicate effectively with associates and create an open communication style that fosters a collaborative work environment.
- Conduct associate performance reviews, ongoing performance discussions, and salary review recommendations. Monitor, observe and record productivity, quality and utilization for assigned area.
- Administer training, qualification, safety programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Communicate and administer policies and procedures in assigned area.
- Ensure that the physical condition of the work areas are conducive to a healthy and safe working environment.

Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Business, Engineering, Distribution Management preferred.
- Three or more years of experience in a production, logistics, transportation, or business-to-business distribution facility
- Two years of managerial or leadership development experience preferred
- Leadership role in Distribution, Transportation, or Operations preferred
- Black Belt certifications in 5s or Dale Carnegie courses preferred
- Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and leadership skills, strong knowledge of warehouse and/or transportation operations and procedures, proven decision-making capabilities, ability to manage and motivate employees.
- Knowledge of Warehouse/Transportation operations, Warehouse/Transportation Management Systems, Inventory Control processes and / or logistics preferred.

An Equipment Operator is responsible for the daily distribution activities, productivity, and quality within the assigned area(s) of a distribution facility. This position is responsible for demonstrating safety, quality and productivity performance and operational expertise. This position will be required to proficiently perform at least one or more distribution-related activities (e.g. order filling, shipping, receiving) on a regular basis with 60% or more of work performed using a forklift or PIT.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform loading, unloading and/or picking of product and materials using powered lifting equipment to move product throughout the facility. May operate stock picker, sit down/stand up equipment, reach truck, etc.
- Contribute to a safe work environment through continuous focus on housekeeping and safety.

Primary Responsibilities

Performs duties such as cashier, logistics support, stocking, restocking, down stocking, inventory control, cleaning the store and protecting company assets. Ensures the completion of damaged and defective/buy back merchandise through the RCC process.
When not assisting customers, performs merchandise-related activities to ensure merchandise presentation guidelines are met through implementing plan-o-gram changes and updates, merchandise set and price changes. Sets weekly ads, including price changes, and any associated updates to store signage.
Proactively acknowledges and engages every customer to ensure a positive customer experience. Utilizes and understands the selling program to promote the sale of the best solution as well as additional product and/or services solutions. Maintains awareness of planned advertisements and promotions.
Able to evaluate the customer's needs to determine what additional offerings or services that a customer may need in addition to determining if a customer should be referred to the Contract Sales organization.

The Sales Advisor - Seasonal will utilize Office Depot Inc's proven sales principles to proactively engage customers to drive the sales of our total offerings and properly assess customer needs to ensure satisfaction in every interaction.

Primary/Key Responsibilities
. Provides exceptional customer service by performing duties as cashier, provides logistics support, stocking, restocking, down stocking, inventory control, cleaning the store, and protecting company assets.
. Performs merchandise-related activities to ensure merchandise presentation guidelines are met through implementing plan-o-gram changes and updates, merchandise set and price changes. Sets weekly ads, including price changes, and any associated updates to store signage.
. Follows the established sorting and stocking guidelines and completes freight processes. Ensures freight sorting area is organized and setup in accordance with guidelines. Scans, investigates, and fills inventory lows and outs daily.
. Proactively acknowledges and engages every customer to ensure a positive customer experience. Utilizes and understands the selling program to promote the sale of the best solution as well as additional product and/or services solutions. Maintains awareness of planned advertisements and promotions.
. Able to evaluate the customer's needs to determine what additional offerings or services that a customer may need in addition to determining if a customer should be referred to the Contract Sales organization.
. Works to develop personal selling skills and specialized product knowledge through sales and service tools provided. Drives
. Technology, Tech Services, Furniture and Print sales by supporting all related current programs, new product launches and special initiatives.
. Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices and supports company loss prevention efforts.
. Successful completion of Tech, Print, and other applicable training and continued education in these areas is expected, up to and including designated certifications, if required
. Performs others duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
. High School diploma or equivalent education is preferred
. Retail sales experience preferred
. Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills, which are necessary to establish a selling relationship with customers and other employees.
. Must possess the ability to use technology and print equipment applicable to role, and to access information necessary to complete daily responsibilities
. Must possess ability to process information/merchandise through POS register system
. Basic computer skills
. Must be able to read, count and write to accurately complete documentation, utilize training tools and process inventory.
. Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
. Must be adaptable to a changing environment
. Must possess ability to work with computers to process information/inventory through computer systems.

Primary Responsibility:
Oversees the Print function to ensure efficient operation while driving overall store sales.
Operates and trains associates on all equipment within the Print Services area to maintain efficient production and ensure client orders are completed correctly and on-time, to include determining if RPC (Regional Print Center) should be used, per established guidelines.
Effectively utilizes communication tools to request assistance within the Print Services area, and to coordinate the appropriate service for all customers throughout the store.
Responsibilities as an External Key Carrier include but are not limited to ensuring the safety and security of the building and associates during the absence of the management team. Performing opening or closing responsibilities. This includes driving awareness of key performance indicators, providing leadership to improve results, activation/deactivation of the store's alarm system, and processes for opening or closing the store.
Routinely reviews cash handling, cashier and merchandise error logs, register voids, tax exemption and all related cash office audits.
Consistently maintains store and print department appearance to company guidelines and keeps a neat, clean, well-stocked environment. Adheres to all standards related to signage labeling and merchandise presentation.
Drives positive customer satisfaction levels and provides effective training to associates to enhance the customer experience. Collaborates on community outreach initiatives and coordinating in store events with small and medium businesses to increase foot traffic and client/customer retention.
