JOB SUMMARY:

The Finance Director is a working-director position where you will work directly with operations, site leadership, and the finance team to ensure accurate invoicing, accurate payroll, accurate AR/AP, and monthly client summary reporting. This position maintains ultimate responsibility over accounting, payroll, and finance functions. At present day, this is a telecommuting job with occasional in-person meetings as needed. The position may become an in-office position in the future, should the need arise.

This position reports to the CEO.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Actively engage in and oversee all finance related needs & team to ensure AR, AP, accounting, finance, payroll deliverables met.

  • Oversee a team assisting in executing finance needs, and driving the teams performance

  • Oversee accurate client invoicing, meeting organizational deadlines.

  • Finalizing payroll prior to run with accurate pay data.

  • Providing clients with accurate monthly reports.

  • Provide resolution to client inquiries.

  • Coordinating changes, projects, and upgrades to system and processes.

  • Interact with IT, HR, and Operations for business objectives

  • Support Operations with trends, analysis, and new business modeling

  • Maintains full integrity of all finance, accounting, & revenues, ensuring organization policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws and regulations, are followed.

  • Compiles fiscal estimates and prepares fiscal reports.

  • Ensures compliance with accounting procedures and principles

  • Develops procedures that ensure all financial company needs are complete and current.

  • Deliver performance that maximizes servicing internal staff while driving operational excellence in a safe manner, with respect of humano team members and with the highest levels of integrity.

  • Report on, analyze, and implement solutions based on past trends, current conditions, and future goals.

  • Understand and effectively communicate data trends to leaders.

  • Review and analyze both service and operational activities, costs, operations, and forecasted data

  • Evaluate, coach, mentor, and develop current and future humano leaders. Acknowledge outstanding performance and quickly take corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policies. Ensure compliance with current federal, state and local regulations.

  • Recommend improvements and analyze all data to facilitate effective implementation of all improvement process to move Client-s business forward all while improving KPIs and financial performance.

  • Advises, participates in negotiations, and manages all contracts into which the Company may enter. Review with the President & CEO on financial matters associated with the financial viability prior to entering contracts.

  • Participate in the development of the company-s plans and programs as a strategic and tactical partner.

  • Perform other duties as assigned and required.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor-s degree in Business Administration, Finance, warehousing / Logistics or related field required, Masters preferred.

  • Eight (8) or more years in finance experience required.

  • Proven experience leading full finance departments preferred.

  • Experience with medium to large organizations required.

  • Experience with $50mm or more P&L organizations required.

  • Experience in multi-site and multi-state accounting, payroll, and finance required.

  • QuickBooks experience required.

  • Expert level in Microsoft Excel required.

  • Experience in cash flow planning required.

  • Experience in forecasting required .
