Lockheed Martin is seeking a Systems and Software Quality Engineer Associate Manager for a position in Orlando, FL to lead and perform several key areas of responsibility within the Software Quality Engineering discipline in alignment with AS9100 Quality Management System, Capability Maturity Model-Integrated (CMMI), Program and Customer .
The candidate should be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the area of Software Quality Engineering and Test Engineering.
The role requires managing and interfacing with software and cyber personnel, test and evaluation personnel, program and project managers and DCMA. Candidate should have extensive knowledge and experience with quality principles for the development and use of software and software-based from through sell off including an understand of source code.
Must also have an in depth understanding of Test Engineering/Test Equipment, solving complex problems and technical solutions.
Travel may be required to support program activities.
Basic Qualifications:
-Must have a completed technical engineering Bachelors degree (Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace or similar).
-Must have an active Secret security clearance to be considered.
-Have excellent communication skills, and possess a proven ability to effectively interact and communicate with management of all levels and with customers.
-Knowledge of Industry-recognized Quality systems/ models such as Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) and AS9100.
Desired Skills:
-Hands-on experience with Agile Methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban, SaFE, etc.)
-ASQ Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) and / or other quality disciplines regulation
-Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt certification
-Experience with Government customers
-Understanding electro-mechanical engineering drawing requirements with the ability to identify inspection methods and required tooling.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
