Job Description:
Responsible for pharmacy functions related to the procurement, selection, receiving, and storage of pharmaceuticals and related supplies, in accordance with the hospital standard procedures and regulatory requirements. Responsible for tracking and carefully monitoring the supply of drugs found to be on shortage. Duties also include inventory management within the hospital, periodic analysis of item movement, and preparing invoices and purchasing/financial reports. May perform duties of a hospital pharmacy technician as required. Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician preferred.
Education Qualifications:
Associates degree with a preference in business, computer science or related field preferred.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Registered as a pharmacy technician with the State Board of Pharmacy in the state in which they will be working (MN or ND) preferred. If registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy, must maintain registration for the duration of employment
