What You'll Get to Do:
The Program Director & Site Leader, will play a critical role as the senior business leader who will oversee the entire revenue stream (profit/loss) and portfolio of programs at the Orlando TIL site, encompassing high-volume manufacturing operations and clean room space for our Photonics Business Unit. The leader will be responsible for the overall performance of the Orlando site. High level responsibilities include site profit/loss, site technology and R&D management, development engineering, program management and operations. The successful candidate will be an energetic and inspiring people leader with ability to engage appropriately at all levels both internally and externally. The candidate will have strong communication skills leading a cross functional organization to achieve mission success.
The Program Director & Site Leader will have exceptional business, social and technical acumen with a strong engineering and operational background and experience running both product-based programs and contract R&D programs. The incumbent will also be an expert in product development and possess a proven background of transitioning product to production. Additionally, this leader will ideally have had exposure to the space market with knowledge in optics technology, hardware development, test, quality, mission assurance, manufacturing at scale and a proven track record of strong program execution.

Provide vision, leadership, and direction in the development of CACI strategic initiatives to address the emerging need for TIL/OPS product solutions

Set direction and expectations re problem solving, product or process characterization, process efficiency and continuous improvement activities
Accountable for implementing clear operational metrics combined with action plans for achieving these metrics
Drive speed, quality, and lifetime cost optimization for product design and manufacturing to meet and exceed customer requirements.
Build and maintain staffing to meet the business requirements, supporting multiple shifts
Continuing the transition of manufacturing capabilities from other CACI sites, including but not limited to processes, equipment, work instructions, and other non-recurring elements
Augment/scale current output of Optical Comms Terminals per required business needs.
Implement capital plans successfully driving Florida factory expansion as required
Maintain Orlando's IS09001 current certification; drive the facility to achieve AS9100 and maintain certification.
Responsible for local environmental health and safety compliance to corporate policy.
Responsible for coordinating local IT needs with corporate IT.
Optimize site business rhythms, facility planning, engineering review boards, resource control boards, etc.
Optimize processes, tools, manufacturing standards to achieve key performance goals
Contribute to and execute strategic plan to achieve short-and long-term objectives.
Analyze engineering systems, processes, projects to maximize efficiency and effectiveness and redirect projects outside the Value Stream consistent with business plan.
You'll Bring These Qualifications or equivalent experience:
Master's Degree from a four-year college or university in an Engineering discipline
15 years of technical experience in R&D and production, specializing in photonics and optics in the space and defense domains
Skilled in program and operational management to include driving quality and implementation of manufacturing best practices and processes
Proven product life cycle management experience
Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a R&D Product Design environment; experience taking product from engineering concept through development and ultimately transition to production
Proven ability taking products from conception to development and familiarity with ISO certifications
A demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing engineering teams
Ability and passion to bring vision and innovation to the engineering function
Effective collaboration skills and strategy development with peers and senior leaders
Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with senior and executive leadership
Demonstrated leadership style that engenders strong followership, inspires extraordinary performance, and leads a team to a stated vision
Ability to create, manage, report, and improve on Operations metrics (Technical, Quality, Schedule, Cost, Safety) via a daily GEMBA and/or other means
A working knowledge of LEAN
A history of building and driving a continuous improvement environment
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Master's Business Administration (MBA)
Previous Site Management experience
Earned Value Management system experience
TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$108,800 - $239,300
