As part of the Portfolio Credit Risk (PCR) team, the Collections will reside on the Implementation team, implement Credit and Collection strategy and policy changes. The Business Process Analyst has the primary responsibility to manage business and technical requirements, design on a technical level, configure, implement, and test strategies in the collection decision engine. Support will be provided to other areas of Credit Risk, including, but not limited to outside departments such as Financial Care, Accounting, Digital, Customer Delivery and EPO. This position requires someone who can build strong working relationships. The Business Process Analyst will also have ongoing interaction with external vendors.
What you'll do in your role.
Ability to influence and lead positive change to business processes by creating and recommending actionable solutions that are aligned with business objectives
Reviews and analyzes business and operations workflow, decision process, and business objectives
Configure, test, audit, implement and monitor, new and existing policy changes, data sources and strategies
Develops, reviews, and updates internal, external, post-implementation documentation, including process flows, procedures, system flows, and change log ensuring through and accurate information
Troubleshoots systems and integration issues working closely with the appropriate resources to resolve them.
Develop, implement, and monitor appropriate controls to ensure defect free implementation of risk strategies including documentation, review and testing procedure
Ensure that the Collection Decision systems is operating efficiently; test, audit and implement new policy changes and/or systems.
Ensure appropriate requirements and solutions are developed based on a solid understanding of the impacted systems and standards.
Assist TRIAD (account management) project manager with decision trees and analysis. Create and analyze portfolio segments to customize collection strategies to maximize performance.
Provides Manager and Senior Leadership with concise and accurate information for decision making.
Present strategy and scoring related activities to management, and auditors as needed.
Train, provide direction to and review the work of other analysts
Provide ad hoc support to management or business partners
Ability to plan, facilitate, and participate in working sessions with vendors and cross functional teams
Represent the Credit Risk Collections team as the main POC for Enterprise and other projects
Act as a liaison between internal and external departments

Knowledge of business analysis activities such as data analysis, process mapping, requirements elicitation, user story creation and testing.

Wireless/Telecom and/or Banking experiences a plus
Technical Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent work experience, 2+years
Experience in testing validation methods using SAS, SQL with use-case development and defect tracking; JIRA, Agile Craft, QTest, Rally & ALM/Quality Center preferred.
Experience managing formal requirements matrix, documenting technical specifications, user story creation and testing .
Experience in writing and executing complex SQL queries.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint, required
Comfortable managing multiple, competing priorities and able to deliver results under pressure and tight deadlines
At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States
High School Diploma or GED
