CACI has an exciting and immediate opportunity for a Unified Collaboration Architect and Design Engineer to support the USAF Network Operations Security Center (NOSC). This position works at the customer on-site Tier 3 support location at Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina.
Shaw AFB is conveniently located. A 2-hour drive to the north gets you to Charlotte, NC, to the east is Myrtle Beach, and Charleston, SC is to the south. You'll have access to big city excitement, a quiet beach walk or small-town Southern hospitality.

You'll get to use leading edge technology as you sustain and defend the networks our Air Force warfighters use in the CENTCOM theater. In this role you will:
Engineer, design and implement Unified Communications/Collaboration voice network, systems, and services (e.g., Cisco Unified Communications Call Manager, Cisco Unity, Cisco Unity Connection & Unity Express, Dial Plans, Calling Search Spaces and Partitions, Call Admission Control).
Identify and troubleshoot VoIP call-routing and voice/video quality issues and recommend and implement mitigation strategies.
Troubleshoot escalated issues to identify and repair complex network issues for WAN, LAN, and Voice/Video.
Analyze metrics and recognize sub-par network performance.
Develop reports and trend analysis documentation on bandwidth and network security incidents.
You will also be required to:
Provide oral and written briefs, presentations, and professional reports to Government senior leaders and decision makers.
Develop and review detailed or complex technical documents.
Provide on-call support after hours, on weekends and holidays.
Deploy/travel to OCONUS locations in the USCENTCOM AOR to support operations, projects, and training as required (up to 25%).
Travel to CONUS locations as required.
You'll Bring These Qualifications
Ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance prior to start date.
Bachelor's degree in related field and 5 or more years' experience; OR 7 or more years' of relevant experience.
Relevant experience
Firewall experience
Must possess experience and demonstrate an understanding of Microsoft server installation, roles, active directory, storage, performance management, and maintenance.
Experience implementing QoS, CAC, and troubleshooting network issues regarding call routing and gateways.
Sufficient mastery of the IT profession to act as an on-shift training representative to include Cisco Switches and Routers, and hardware troubleshooting disciplines.
Solid working knowledge of basic LAN technologies and OS used on deployed networks.
DoD 8570 IAT II Baseline Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).
Completion of additional certifications.
VMware Certified Technical Associate (VCTA)
CCNP (CCNP-Collaboration desired)
ITIL Foundation within 60 days from start date

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$73,900 - $155,200
